Well the only thing that really helped me was this weird self-help book called "The Sedona Method". It's a bit newage-y but has great info and basically breaks down emotional structures and gives you guidance on how to deal with them. They have expensive programs and video seminars but those are unnecessary, the cheap basic book is all you need. I'm sure you can find it for cheap on ebay (or wherever) or even digitally somewhere.
