This assumes that "men worth having" won't use sexbots. Take porn. Every dude I know watches some kind of porn some of the time. Guys that get laid all the time and have women thirsting after them and dudes that have no chance in hell of ever getting a girl to like them. The difference is a matter of degree. Sexbots will be expensive at first but, will come down in price rapidly. Everyone would have one. If it's a walking talking robot that can also clean your place and cook your food, everyone …

TRP is like a college campus, every year new freshmen come in, wide-eyed and wonderous expect in TRP it's angry and sad over the thing that usually pushed them into considering TRP in the first place. As time goes on, those people read up, take in TRP, lick their wounds and figure out how to incorporate TRP into their lives. Some go MGTOW, some try PUA, some go monk mode, most probably have TRP as a phase and don't participate as much. Like a university, over time people either become professors…

Most of the changes in society that fuel the arguments in this sub affect both men and women. Both men and women have changed. Both men and women are stuck with a reality that doesn't meet the expectations that they were brought up to expect. Both men and women were raised by people who could expect a reasonable stable committed relationship given that you met the average standard and put work into it. A milligram of all sorts of chemicals in the human body can make huge differences. One milligr…

Do you believe that women are going to trade up without a doubt? The same narcissism I see you applying to women thinking they're settling I've seen in men. I don't know if I believe it's what you say or if it's just the fact most people don't actually look for a connection to the one they're getting with. It's like you pointed out, there's too many variables for me to believe that pessimistic outlook. I prefer to look on the brightside personally unless proven wrong without a doubt. The problem…

This is such a blatant caricature of an MGTOW villain, it can't possibly be real. No one can be this dense to reject "ugly" guys and then be mad not only at rejection but, the fact that a hot guy got with a hot girl? I roll to disbelieve.

This is the problem inherent in PUA. If it works, it still makes your life worse in the long run. I remember reading The Game forever ago and getting to the end and realizing that the master PUA was absolutely miserable. If you have to put on an act to pick up women, you have to play that character for the rest of the relationship. It's exhausting, people crash and burn hard. They are literally teaching deception. I would expect that they would be deceiving their followers as well. They leave ou…

So, I can be long-winded. My reply was selfish in that it was more for me to crystalize ideas I'd been ruminating about more than a direct answer to your post. The basic idea is that TRP shows how transactional relationships and how culture made these myths to make relationships less so but, with people tearing these myths apart, we are going to just have more and more transactional relationships. The biology behind that is that most people are going to be less happy than they were under the myt…

The answer to women who look down on men who look for younger women is ask them of the largest age difference in the men that they have flirted with, slept with or dated. Most women have been attracted to older men or have friends who are attracted to older men. The older man, younger woman dynamic is natural. Women constantly say they want men with resources, maturity, and stability. Men tend to get these things as they get older. Men value looks which match up with fertility basically and thus…

Yeah, that's a bit extreme. No need to be mean about it. Just say you aren't interested.

Well, sex toys for women went from highly stigmatized to barely at all. Also, people won't put them out, they will be hidden. Men don't show their porn collection to women on the first date. Eventually, it will normalize in society. People will start counter-signaling against the stigma (ie: "don't kink/sex shame me") How fast did "eating ass" go from gross to celebrated? Much faster than I would have ever thought. Now if you don't do it, one is kinda looked at as a square.

Also, don't forget that progressivism is pushing for decriminalization and destigmatization of sex work. So, even if someone "prefers the real thing" even that will have market pressure. The real tipping point is when young single men can basically get sex on demand (pornography, sex robot, sex worker) and can have as much sex as an LTR. That might change the fundamental building blocks of western social and sexual relationships. Monogamy and Polygamy might even be on the table in some way.

The problem is that in the broad strokes, TRP highlights some larger social changes that have been brewing for decades. God is Dead as Nietzsche puts it. We're basically tearing down the larger overarching structures in society and aren't really putting anything back up to replace it. The ideas that held up relationships, religion, romance, marriage, undying self-less love, are all myths being hollowed out by modern society. We are all running as individuals and going back to more basic, primal …

It depends on what the man wants. A lot of casual sex is fun, getting to know a bunch of women is fun if you can avoid emotional entanglements especially if it started out casually. Men can have different standards for casual hookups than LTRs but, catch feelings and try to turn a casual relationship into an LTR. Sex in ONS can be terrible. FWB is better as you get to know each other and what both parties want. It's much better to just get good at talking about sex and what you want. Learning to…

This assumes that women are looking for the same things (beauty) in an average man. Broadly, men are visually driven, women are status-driven. This is biology. Society can put a spin on things but, generally, men and women look for different things from each other. If women only were attracted to visually attractive men, then more men would go to the gym, do skincare, even wear makeup. Men don't largely because that's not the most appealing thing to women. Status is. Men spend their time money a…
