-1	Peeing in the Boys' Room It is a little 'silly straight-folks', but I get it. I did not shower after gym for three years so I could control when I did and did not see naked men. All she has to do is obey a sign. If she chooses not to, it is kind of her to warn us so we can avoid the awkwardness, but she has chosen that risk for herself. 1	Are men the bigger victims of violent crimes? This actually finds them pretty much statistically equal, which is a huge change. For lifetime occurrence, men are almost twice as likely to be victimized. So that is a real gain for men relative to this facet of life -- the rate of violence is decreasing, and it is falling a lot faster for men than women. 2	My wife is being increasingly abusive, but she threatens to lie to the police if I report her. What can I do? There is way too much attention here to getting the perpetrator punished. Get yourself safe instead. Stay away from her, have parts of your own house she cannot get into. Walk away in the middle of arguments into your own space and make her make a fool of herself trying to break through the door. Treat her like the child she is behaving like, and train her to treat you like a human being. 5	Not sure how I feel about this quote Yeah, Socrates was very much of two minds about women. He thought his wife Xanthippe was an idiot tyrant, but worshipped Diotima, a midwife who helped raise him. My best guess is that he felt that women who thought they had little power were actually very effective in the world, whereas women who felt empowered were often stupid and controlling. If you are leaving, leave! Request a restraining order against her, and to the extent possible, cut her financial dependence upon you to an absolute minimum.
