FGM was never a western practice. MGM is. It's easy to look at the behavior of people in the out group and come to the conclusion that their behavior is barbaric, and yet still be completely oblivious to the true nature of your own cultural practices. To ban MGM also requires that people confront their needless mutilation of their sons and their own sexual dysfunction. That's tough.

A lot of the more vocal/popular atheist personalities on youtube tend to favor men's rights, or at least acknowledge men's rights issues. Joe Rogan, TJ Kirk, Dave Rubin, etc. I think a lot of atheists stopped identifying with the larger atheist movement because it become too identity politic oriented, which is also kinda pointless when you consider atheists aren't really being oppressed in the developed world.

Tbh i prefer being circumcised, although i had no choice. This statement confuses me when I hear it from people circumcised before sexual maturity. Where you circumcised as an adult, and would therefor have a frame of reference for the differences? Most people I hear from who were circumcised as adults have expressed a dramatic decrease in sensitivity.

I think the core tenets of MGTOW are reasonable. I just think there is a lot of resentment because of the misandry coming from feminism and the general disinterest women seem to have for the rights of men and boys. Do to psychological differences between men and women I believe men make better leaders, and because of inborn biases that women hold I believe men will suffer if women gain too much political power.

Male circumcision is by far the largest, and most presing men's rights issue, and a legitimate human rights violation. Family courts that favor the outcome of mothers is one thing, but subjecting a defenseless child to a harmful procedure with proposed benefits that have no causal link to circumcision is something that has to be at the top of the list.

It's just the culture. When the social movement to stop female circumcision started, many people started to question male circumcision, but feminists did their best to enforce the false belief that male & female genital mutilation are not the same, and that male circ is not nearly (Or not at all) as harmful as female circ. I'm not that short, 5' 7", there are drawbacks, and height is a very attractive trait for a man to have, but there are a lot of things you can control and improve. IMO, a short acceptance movement would be pointless, women have a natural preference for taller men. That's just how our species works. You can offset the disadvantage by lifting and taking good care of yourself in general. It's not hard for a short guy to compete against 6'+ guys when most of them are overweight in this country.
