But little to no person here denies misandry or toxic feminism. Maybe talking about other issues would be more helpful instead of turning this sub into a circlejerk. We are still going to criticize these people but it would be better if we made it in a more concrete way

I agree, I was just going to post something similar too!

I understand them but understanding and normalizing are two different things. Hate breeds hate just like violence breeds violence. In this era I can easily understand someone who is cautious of random men or women but hate is a different aspect

In Turkey there is a law called “crime of alienating from military service” which means you are basically in risk of being thrown into jail from 6 months to 2 years -or 9 months to 3 years if it’s on social media- if you tell people to not go to the military

This is very scary. I don’t think it’s a problem about spreading ideas, ideas are everywhere already. Destroying is easy and it's not going to help anyone. Love costs. It takes effort and work.

Right? It’s definitely not surprising that unhinged scrolling time is positively correlated with mental health issues

Honestly, it seems impossible for me to find a common ground with some of those online interactions or societies. Everyone could find someone who thinks like them online. Even if they have tribalistic ideas. All of them could disguise their immorality under being “rightful” or stuff like that. But yes, it becomes a buzzword when people dismiss the sense of it and use it everywhere. Anyway, what am I doing with this at 4 a.m. lmao

Misandry is statistically no less prevalent than misogyny in this Nature article in popular reddit communities, who would guess r/Feminism has more hate words per user than r/Incels? I didn’t. These people who react to this like “but the patriarchy…” are either unhealthy or bad intended; if a group is using dehumanizing language for a gender and finding external excuses for it, I doubt that a commonsensical person could see any good faith there. They are nasty politicians, and are losing support…

👏. Patriarchy is to blame I suppose (!)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
