For #1: Touch the dude. Shoulder, then arm, then look at him for a second. If that doesn't send a message, move to the next one. That's the easiest and best way to flirt. For #2: Talk about what you know, you'll sound more confident, and they might have similar interests. I try to talk about books, comics, whatever is on my mind until something we mutually enjoy comes up in conversation. For escalation, see #1. Then kiss.

I am somewhere around 1:1.2 I only ask for numbers when I can have a decent conversation first. If I find them interesting, it is usually reciprocated.

Go, be you, don't drink too much, make new friends, meet new chicks. Nothing wrong with being a little jelly, and then recovering from it.

Doesn't sound like you'd have fun/ any interest in going unless it was with her. I'd skip it if I felt that way.

Basically all you need to do is keep confident. Be comfortable being you anywhere and then you don't need a situational "one-up" over anyone else.

I would just say whatever the truth was. Especially if I didn't really relate to the frats around. Then again I am in a fraternity, not the collegiate kind though.

Well, while I appreciate the look into your mind. I am not sure what kind of help you are looking for, care to elaborate on that?

You may as well yell "Can you hear me?" and walk up to the person. Why not try, "Hey, I'm name. I wanted to come meet you, because you are beautiful." I'm sure the honest truth will work better than some canned line.
/r/seduction11/07/12 04:09 AM

It really depends. Usually I do not. Although I don't go looking for one night stands at all. I tell a woman what I am feeling, what I am thinking. Always honestly. It works out better than anything canned.

Yes. We (I and a bunch of other folks) have appealed to the FA crowd. It's not so much as they don't want help, and indeed we did get a few transfers from them to us, it's a bit of not really being ready to improve. A lot of that, I think is a negative cycle of self pity instead of empowerment. Although it never hurts to try.

I'm sure you're fine with revolving your life around someone you have never met, but it's not a healthy way to approach anything, let alone women. You should care about women, everyone really. People are people for a reason, they are not things.
/r/seduction10/07/12 10:53 PM

Well, what was the full interaction?
/r/seduction10/07/12 08:16 PM

Well, laziness can be from either a- you being reluctant to approach because you think it's a waste of time b- you don't think the attempt will pan out Tell yourself that you are worth having that woman in your life when you are walking by, feel the relaxation the attempt causes. Get comfortable with the raise in your pulse, the tension. Feel the happiness it adds to your day, either way.

No, not at all. He probably is less reserved when talking to people.

Yeah man, if the chick responds with negativity to your feelings, then, you know it isn't worth it.
/r/seduction10/07/12 03:09 AM

Not really. It's hard for me to type out in a coherent thought. Basically the structure I would take is this: "Hey, how are you?" - her response, listen, take that shit in. "Oh thats, <adjective>" - tell her what you feel about it "You know you've been on my mind recently" <the truth here too> <continue conversation, wherever that goes>

This. Your feelings are important. Especially if you know them well enough to write down.

Well, that anxiety is normal. I get nervous every time I hang out with a chick I like, when I haven't before. Remember to relax, that what is happening is a good thing, and be comfortable that is happening. It's a healthy feeling overall, I think you may be focusing on it too heavily, and that's where you get the sick feeling.

Your girlfriend is yours for a reason. She knows it, you know it. You don't have to be anyone but yourself. Don't think anything else. You'll be fine.

I have this problem sometimes, while not being that tall. Usually once I start talking like a normal person the anxiety declines. Most of the time it isn't about how you look, it's about how you carry yourself. Smile a lot, move around a little. Be comfortable in your own skin, and relax. People respond to that most.

Nothing healthy. YOu need to be able to reflect on what happened without malice, yet make her understand how you feel what you feel.

I just don't want to regress by talking to her. And I really don't want her to think (A) she now has the upper hand and (B) that I'm the same I used to be/completely forgotten about what happened. That's your convo right there.

It seems like you know the perfect conversation to have after saying "Hi. How have you been?" I vote for going for it.

I disagree, stating your mind, sets your sexual frame, determines the value you aren't afraid to let them know. If I didn't care about the person, I wouldn't bother. People are not things. Thinking that way is discomforting.
/r/seduction09/07/12 11:51 PM

Well, that depends really. If your intentions are friendship, or a relationship. If it's the latter, I don't think I would personally move that way. Friendships can evolve though, and if that happens it is a different story. It's a more healthy way to meet someone sometimes. State your motives "Hey, you know, I think we'd still make great friends." if she just wants a relationship tell her you aren't ready for anything intimate, and you'll see where it goes. Keep your options open, and maintain …

Sure man, I got a number from a bartender last night, often will be talking to the waitresses at restaurants, and quite often have a lot of success with ladies who work similar jobs. I usually put my thoughts out there pretty quickly, enjoy the venue, not be afraid to talk to everyone around. Especially at the bar. If the waitress looks over, ask a question. Compliment her, basically. I usually start off with, "You know, what's a good story from working here? " then transition quickly into "Ever…

So why don't you just say "Hey, you know, you've been on my mind. How have you been?" and take it from there? You know what you want better than we do. Relax, take a breathe, and take a leap. It's the same advice I would give someone who is interested in anyone, stranger or not. It's great that you recognize that she is hurting. You know how that feels. So you have some mutual ground. Don't call out where it comes from, just appreciate the common denominator.

That's a great entrance into realizing what's going on. A lot of the folks here have a bit of a reluctance to take the next steps, but after you do, you will find yourself a lot more comfortable with your situation, no matter what it is.

Honesty is the best policy man. I have stopped women on the street with whatever was on my mind. Do what works, but be honest with it.

You should respond to yourself honestly. How can approaching someone with "I had to come talk to you, I saw you, and I would have regretted it all day. You're beautiful."

I care man, that has never led me down a bad path. While, disregarding the negative aspects is great (if someone doesn't like you, you shouldn't mind). You should always go into meeting someone, with every intention that it will be great.

Well, the question is: Do you want to? If I feel like saying hi, I always do. There is no down side in rekindling friendships with anyone, unless they show you otherwise. Forgive and forget is a good motto. If everyone held everything you've ever done against you, you probably wouldn't feel very positive about anything at all, right?

How do I re-approach her without seeming too needy? Don't stress it, just approach again, state why you wanted to talk to her clearly. I would most likely have a reason like "You know, your friends were a bit intimidating, but I thought you were beautiful, so I want to talk to you again anyway. How is your night going?"

I find myself whoring it up when I don't get enough affection elsewhere. It is an emotional gap I used to have a lot more often. I guess it is just generally using sex as a confidence booster, telling myself I was attractive and that people liked me. After I got used to being myself, and generally not giving a crap what strangers might of thought, I became a lot more secure.

I have a lot of times when I feel needy, but then after thinking about it, there are larger issues in play. I had a rough childhood compared to some people, I don't enjoy talking to strangers about it. I feel needy when I get rejected, and I stop myself from chasing people. It's not so much as a distinct situation I can pin down, other than a recent one. I was at a bar, a little too hammered.; had a great conversation about life, what makes people important to others, and was generally laying do…

A lot of this seems to come from insecurity. Realize that some people will not like you, are not looking for value past good looks, and they aren't worth your time in the vast majority of situations. If you're going to bang everyone, you don't come off as a valuable mate.

I would bring it up earlier in the conversation. If you're uncomfortable with asking, get comfortable with it, and wear a condom.

It's great to see the progression, I had this conversation recently with a lot of people in person. They don't see it yet, but overall they should be able to identify this is where things should be headed.

Honestly, I would say the most important thing to do in being desired is be interesting, and outgoing when you talk to people. Second, is talk to everyone you can. If you find them interesting, you'll then be interesting.

Really, that's thrilling. I don't want to be a mod. Or have an AMOG war with you regarding karma. I don't care about either of those things. You asked for what I would use more mods for, and like you said the current ones do, and I would expand on that. IRC is a resource, just like reddit. It is useful to have moderation, where your group of people is situated. Why so defensive man? It's pretty intimidating, and unhelpful. Sure, I'd love to help out if you wanted some help. Do I need to sit here…

Moderate, comment, post. The IRC is unmoderated, some if not all of the FR's seem to be mostly bragging. Technique is what important, not reading someone basically saying "I GOT LAIIIIIIIIIIID. Hooray." With respect. A mod in each timezone for 50,000 edit: fixed the incorrect number of subscribers users seems fair. That way they could organize a lair, digital or otherwise and have that moderated as well. I have already seen the Digi-lairs, etc. Posts from mods explaining them, writing group-fr's…
