7	Short is Not the Problem Exactly! I’m 5 feet tall. Everyone is a giant to me. I can’t imagine dating someone over 6 feet. We would look absurd. 1	I need help, support, advice? I really don't know at this point.. I’m an independent contractor who is not essential, and I’ve just finally been approved for unemployment in California through December. Granted, it’s not a bunch of money, but they do add $600/week for roughly 16 weeks as per the CARES Act. If you’re in CA, be careful when you fill out the form. You have to choose Pandemic Unemployment Assistance when the option pops up. Then it took over a month to hear back; I didn’t even get an email confirmation. My grandmother called it “a stash to dash.” She taught me to ALWAYS make my own money and never rely on men because they will mostly disappoint you. She said my grandfather was the only good man she ever dated. Never feel guilty about protecting yourself. Men that you’re dating should never have access to your funds.
