Interestingly enough as a black man I’d like to see the stats of black firefighters...well the history of them, and of firefighting in general. Is it like the police force, where we weren’t welcomed for a lot of time, and even when we were the firehouses weren’t welcoming places? It’s definitely a job with extreme physical requirements, so I understand why it’s never been an area women would thrive.

At 19 it’s definitely ok. But if you want to impress find something cheap/free going on that’s entertaining, even if just for an hour or two, then make your way to one of your places if it’s going well.

You'll drive yourself crazy looking for the opportune moment to go in for a kiss. You create the moment. Waiting presents a tremendous risk to missing it, and then you're both disappointed and thinking there's no interest. Or she gets bored🤷🏿‍♂️. If you attempt and get rejected, that doesn't mean she doesn't want to, but she knows you're interested.

Perspective, I'm fairly known and my job gives people the impression they can talk to me about it at any time, so I'm not speaking in general terms that apply to everyone in every gym. I guess I'm a big deal lol.

My issue at the gym is I'm normally on a time crunch and eye contact invites conversation I don't have time for. But the whole gym like that? Ridiculous lol. Make them uncomfortable lol
