I mean chivalry is dead and all, but what does medieval battle etiquette have to do with this?

It links to a plethora of sources, leading all the way up to 2016. Once again, I'm unbiased. You're so caught up by your anti-men strawman that you aren't listening. I'm done with you.

If you only look at physical abuse you're right. Those numbers line up. But between sexual and emotional abuse, it's totally different. These abuses are just as damaging. Because while they don't necessarily fall under the domestic abuse definition, the source felt it good enough to include.

No, you should look at it. It's pretty good. I don't think anyone hear has claimed abuse does not happen to men. I did not. I literally just typed in domestic violence statistics, and those are the top two results. I'm not saying they're verified, I'm just saying that you'd have to to out of your way to not see articles just like this. There has been no nitpicking. You're just not going to get anywhere by picking choosing statistics in an overwhelmingly dishonest way. Because at the end of the d…

Being specific isn't messing up. Im not bouncing off of some anti-men feminist sub. I'm just being skeptical. There's no bias from me. I DO have some of the same problems with the source i found. https://ncadv.org/statistics my biggest problem with this, once again, is that it is dated. However, this one is from 2007. However, it was literally the first thing to pop up while researching. The second https://www.thehotline.org/resources/statistics/ The point is, you would have had to specifically …

Your source is a good one. It claims none of these numbers specifically, however, and reports high rates of abuse to and from both sexes. Picture is still wrong, but I'd share that source more often. It's expansive, categorized, and current. Many reputable sources. Overwhelmingly unbiased.

Not impossible. It's a dated source. Its not modern, and i didn't discredit your source. My biggest problem is that it just isnt current, and the picture doesn't define any of this as such. Then all i did was extrapolate what the information had to say. Never once did i discredit the source, but your interpretation.

I do have a few problems with your source. One that you quoted perfectly. In half of 24% pf relationships, 70% of women are the abuser. It throws a bunch of numbers at you, but yes in this group you are right. Next problem, this study is from 2001. A little dated to be citing almost 20 years later as consistent fact. Lastly, it was only between ages 18 and 28, and idk about you, but that is not the entire population. So yes, in 2001, in relationships with 18-28 year olds, 24% of those relationsh…

Source. I accept nothing a face value. I looked into it myself, and found nothint like that. Most statistics lean towards women from what i found. Downvoting me for doing research and telling you what i found doesn't change the fact of the matter. Show. Me. A. Source.

Please research what you post. Don't just assume it's true. Unless you have statistics i haven't found, this just isn't remotely true

I don't care about whether people are upset about this. Feel what you will, I'm not here for a debate. I only commented to point out that this doesn't belong here.

Jeez. I'm shocked out your ability to make this about you. Like holy shit, guys. There wasn't even a conversation about this, and you're so quick to pull the oppression.

While it is valid to question this, especially the preteen part, how is this a Mens Rights issue?

Yes, you're right. But the bat shit crazy ones are not the group. The men's rights movement is not a purely sexist group, despite the people who are apart of the movement who blatantly are. The BLM was not an anti-cop movement, depsite the psychopaths who were. The MeToo movement was not a weapon to use against men, despite the fact some women did. The worst in a group are not the group as a whole. Go and talk to an actual human being. Misandrists and TURFs do not represent feminism. I'm friends…

Also, and i cannot stress this enough, that is false. Please go outside and talk to people you disagree with. You might find people aren't as crazy as they're depicted to you.

Oh women won’t like that . Men being forced . How can they be . You can’t force a man to get an erection will be the feminist cry Literally, most feminists believe men can be assaulted. They are not all monsters who are apathetic to the plight of men. So women shit the fuck up as you have no idea how our bodies and minds work Holy shit, how can you be so fucking upset with the strawman YOU CREATED?

Don't pressure people into hugs. If you hold positions of power over people, and you open your arms for a hug, you put the other person in a bad, split-second-decision, position. Dude's a creep my guys

There's a simple answer to why her face is hidden and his isn't. A) this case is getting publicity off of his name. B) he's a public figure. As the case is getting publicity because of his fame, it would be pointless to hide his face. A 10 second search on internet.com will turn him up. Oh and the reason she's hidden? She's a piece of human shit. You publicize her, and something befalls her, the company responsible for the article can be found liable. Retribution murder has happened before. She'…

You clearly do know a lot about shoe. Like all the times she has said clearly and plainly she's not antifeminist. She and skeptic discuss this several times on their channels, and they both come to the consensus that both do not identify as MRA, and neither are antifeminist. They don't like being considered anti-anything.

She's also not anti feminist though. She isn't a feminist and debunks them for the lols. You can't claim someone is apart of your group just because they sympathize or agree with your points. You are doing exactly what makes feminists so annoying. "If you agree with me, you're an MRA [feminist]". Also, the opposite of the men's rights movement isn't women's rights. You keep acting like that, and no one will listen to your narrative. That's why feminists misjudge your movement. Disagreeing with f…

I never said anything about cassie or warren farrell. I don't know anything about them, so I can't give any weigh ins or opinions on them. That's why i didn't mention them.

Shoe isn't MRA? She makes that abundantly clear. Both Skeptic and Shoe have sympathy for your plight. They agree that there are problems. But they aren't MRA.

That just isn't true. There isn't some gatekeeper to the left deciding who goes where. Yes, there are many leftists who will 'shoot their own foot' and throw leftists who disagree with them into the the other basket. However, none of those people stand in a place of genuine authority. No elected authority has stood in front of a group and demanded total agreement. Some have demanded controversial things, but that's what comes with "activism". Many, many leftists can "agree to disagree". The left…

This is the problem sith r/niceguys and r/niceguystories. They do push that narrative, and for every fake story that is pushed, more and more people think men are, as a standard, dangerous

Judge is not responsible for the actions of the mother. There are plenty of parents that have mental illnesses. There isn't enough information as to what happened court level to cause the decision.

I would appreciate seeing that link. You're right, however. The loudest among the social left hold disdain and encourage a blind eye to men's rights issues. This is only a question, not a social/political commentary. I don't believe your personal beliefs to be a problem. I am only curious.

I'm sorry, but that just isn't true. Try to open your view points to accept others. The loudest voices among the left may deem your observation as accurate. However the average leftist is nowhere like that. I grew up with them. I've met the freak ones that your comment refers to, but I've met so many many more who are so much more positive.
