What should be done exactly?

How do we stop them murdering?
/r/MensRights05/04/22 01:39 AM
1

You’ve conflated them. You blame women for being celibate.
/r/MensRights05/04/22 01:38 AM
1

How do you suggest we appease them? We’ve already “listened” to what they have to say, they want more. How do we give them/you what you want?
/r/MensRights05/04/22 01:36 AM
1

The solution that keeps people safe is to watch them. Incels want to be provided women as if they are cattle. There is no way of appeasing them.
/r/MensRights05/04/22 01:31 AM

Love is the point. Choosing to be celibate and hating women or blaming women for “ignoring non alpha men” or whatever are two different things.
/r/MensRights05/04/22 01:24 AM

You aren’t supporting your own claims. You have to prove that ALL women are “competing” for the “top 20% of men”. What does “top 20%” even mean? Inceldom is just like any other cult. It attracts people who’ve failed in life and indulged it to the point where they need a cohesive, comprehensive ideology that squarely takes the blame off their shoulders.

A cursory look at the people on any street would tell you that. Look at your own father. Was he an Adonis? My own husband is 5’7 and was like 108 pounds when I met him, he’s maybe 140 now. Hardly the Hercules you insist women are demanding. I am desperately in love with him and we have been married for almost 21 years. If 8/10 of 80% of all men were single and chronically rejected, we would know about it. Incels and redpill misogynists are but a small fraction of the population. However, despite…

Honestly why are you interested in Tinder women anyway? Because they’re hot?
/r/MensRights05/04/22 01:09 AM

No then only 20% of those guys would be hooked up, and that’s not the case at all.
/r/MensRights05/04/22 01:08 AM

Also all the comments on that shitpost correctly point out that the OP doesn’t provide real sources. Also why do you not attribute any of that to Tinder itself? What qualifies as “attractive”? I would never use a dating app unless I was looking for a hookup.
/r/MensRights05/04/22 01:07 AM

How did you miss the point of me underlining that men who do not fit into this fantastical “20%” have girlfriends/wives/regular sex?
/r/MensRights05/04/22 01:05 AM

But what prompts the murders? The murderers cite incel ideas. The one from my town said it was to teach women a lesson. To exterminate foids. The police interview is widely available. It’s the incel ideas about women that are the problem. Dangerous hate.
/r/MensRights05/04/22 12:54 AM
-1

This is an incel lie. There are tens of thousands of unconventional handsome dudes in your area with all kinds of women. Lots of them are short as fuck and have small dicks. And yet. So we should excuse all murderers then? Wouldn’t that be them avoiding the almighty accountability?
/r/MensRights05/04/22 12:52 AM
1

You sympathize with people who call women foids and have open violent fantasies about raping and killing women. Ok. What in society causes murders by women?
/r/MensRights05/04/22 12:39 AM
1

Why are you acting like it’s random? It’s the ideas incels traffic in that inspire the murders.
/r/MensRights05/04/22 12:00 AM
1

Maybe you should read about the Holocaust to try and understand how ideas cause murder. Just a thought.
/r/MensRights04/04/22 09:12 PM
0

No I am sticking with the “incel ideas cause murder” point, because that’s the truth. Calling it “trash talk” is minimizing it. Feminists sometimes trash talk, but they’ve yet to be called terrorists by the police.
/r/MensRights04/04/22 08:36 PM

It has nothing to do with virginity or celibacy. It has to do with calling women “foids” and dehumanizing them, calling vaginas “roast beef”, claiming women are disgusting whores who only want money from men. Ridiculous lies about women’s “obsession” with height, beliefs about being “owed” women who look a particular way, a total lack of any belief in love. I could go on.
/r/MensRights04/04/22 08:23 PM
-3

Incel ideas are not difficult to understand, are they?
/r/MensRights04/04/22 08:08 PM
1

No, it’s exceedingly rare. By this logic we should put all incels in jail preemptively because some of them are mass murderers.
/r/MensRights04/04/22 08:07 PM
1

When a set of beliefs developed by a specific community REPEATEDLY inspires mass murder, it’s certain those beliefs are absolutely wrong.
/r/MensRights04/04/22 07:55 PM
-3

Where are the feminist mass murderers? You guys love to say FDS and whatever other 2014 Tumblr extremists are the same an incels, but how? Where are the bodies?
/r/MensRights04/04/22 07:51 PM
-3

8 mass murders and 60 victims so far.
/r/MensRights04/04/22 07:47 PM
1

60 victims. 8 mass murders. Where are the feminist mass murders?
/r/MensRights04/04/22 07:47 PM
-9

Oh no, incels are motivated specifically by their ideas about women. A specific set of beliefs. That’s what makes them terrorists.
/r/MensRights04/04/22 07:46 PM

60 victims so far. That’s not a “few”.
/r/MensRights04/04/22 07:45 PM

They’re LITERALLY MURDERERS.
/r/MensRights04/04/22 06:45 PM
-16

You sympathize with mass murderers???
/r/MensRights04/04/22 06:42 PM

None of those are real. Feminists hate sexism, not men. Why are you taking the definition of feminist from someone who hates feminists??

He asked where and when, I provided an answer.
/r/MensRights02/04/22 08:27 PM

Are you aware of how common law operates?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/22 03:33 AM
1

No fault divorce laws have nothing to do with successful marriages. You insist that all marriages are economic transactions and act as if love is not a factor in marriage. This makes no sense. Marriage is not and was never an “investment”. People who consider economics as part of the reason to get or not get married should not be married. The reason men pay alimony and child support more often is because they have more money than women. This is not women’s fault. The reason women get custody mor…

50 years ago? What happened then exactly? How would I have “fought” this if I was not yet born? Love is both necessary and sufficient for marriage. I know this because I have been successfully married for 20 years. I think it’s interesting you consider yourself more of an expert on the topic when you have never been successfully married at all, ever. Child support and alimony laws are gender neutral.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/22 07:11 PM

It’s hard to understand love if you’ve never been in love.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/22 04:32 PM

This is so absurd. If you are fat or have acne or are in whatever way not a model, you do not have unlimited access to top quality “alpha” men.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/22 07:52 PM
1

If you think of marriage as an economic contract primarily, you should never get married ever. Most places enforce shared property laws in common law relationships. So not getting the paper doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t have to split anything you acquired during the marriage. Again if you can’t hack it emotionally, I don’t recommend marriage. But waking up everyday next to your best friend and magic prince for 20 years is a deep pleasure that could never be replaced. It’s not that I wanted …
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/22 06:49 PM

I don’t actually care whether “men” as a group (why don’t you think women don’t want to get married either) don’t want to get married. It isn’t for everyone. You have to be able to be a real partner. You have to be emotionally responsible. It’s too hard for a lot of people. The divorce rate is 30% for educated people.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/22 04:48 PM

Prove it.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 03:08 PM

I’ve been married for 20 years and it’s dope. Sorry you don’t understand what love really is.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/22 02:46 PM

No that makes no sense. Why would he not be present for delivery? Does he not care about the child? Secondly he legally had a right to the child. To enforce that the baby would have to be found, the woman would be legally compelled to tell him where she put the baby. Then he would get a test and make his claim. The reason people don’t talk about this is because women usually give the baby up because the father is gone. She’s on her own. There is NO law that allows the mother to give away the chi…
/r/MensRights25/02/22 02:25 PM

She would be compelled by law to say where she put the baby. It’s awfully hard to give away a baby by yourself if the father isn’t already absent. This is what they’re assuming here. It’s a fair assumption.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 12:10 PM

5% constitutes a difference. You say this but then you say in the next sentence it’s the same. Divorce rate is 30% for educated people.

You said I was wrong for saying what I said ONLY because of what happened to you personally.

You literally just did that yourself.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 03:24 AM

So I guess you don’t have a robust social services system and your health care isn’t free. In Canada, the child goes to care if the hospital and social worker staff believe the addict cannot care for the child.

What am I saying exactly?
/r/MensRights25/02/22 02:55 AM

“At risk”? Termination ends the pregnancy, it doesn’t put it in “danger”.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 02:55 AM
-4

This does not say you are allowed to do it without the consent of the other parent.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 02:54 AM

It doesn’t say anything about one parent being able to decide to give away the child without consent of the other parent anywhere.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 02:18 AM
-2

How? Please quote the law that says one parent can decide to give the child away without consent of the other.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 02:16 AM

You can’t just give away your baby without the father’s consent.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 02:12 AM

Only a stupid baby would interpret it that way. God I feel bad for your mother. I gave you some good advice on how to take care of this situation. Please take it.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 02:05 AM
3

Why? They’re doing great. They’re 14, 14, and 17 and they’re all super awesome human beings. I bet you are about the same age!
/r/MensRights25/02/22 01:26 AM
3

You made up a lie and for some reason you’re sticking to the lie. You’re maybe too young to realize how stupid you sound? Do your homework. Clean your room.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 01:24 AM
2

Oh so we’re at the “cunt” part, eh? And to think this all started with a stupid lie you should have deleted. You sound super unstable. If you think you are “going to die” for any reason you should check into the hospital yourself, but of course then your parents would know and everything. Stay in school kid.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 01:22 AM
-1

Pregnancy is the difference. Pregnancy is what the woman decides about. After the birth, both parents are quality responsible for the child.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 01:16 AM
2

LOL sure. You sound about 14. If you were a grown up you’d take your suicidal friend to the hospital, but you’re a stupid baby so you can’t do that.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 01:15 AM
3

It should be so easy to link to several instances of this, but because you’re an idiot you’re just going to tell me you’re “doing something important” or you’ll “get back to me tomorrow” because those links don’t exist. Stop clinging to this stupid lie. It’s absurd.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 01:14 AM
-16

You’re complaining because women choose whether your financially responsible for a child you conceived. Exactly what you say women would do, as if it’s only bad if women do it??
/r/MensRights25/02/22 01:13 AM
-19

Isn’t that exactly what you’re doing?
/r/MensRights25/02/22 01:11 AM
3

You said that “many” people say this. That’s totally untrue. I’m not going to accept some made up bullshit from you because you call me “stupid”.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 01:10 AM
1

At yes, of course you will. LOL.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 01:07 AM
3

So a link should be easy to produce. The first comment is the opposite of what you claim. The second “commenter” makes no sense. How is drinking during a pregnancy the same as an abortion? How does this amount to a pattern we should be concerned with exactly?
/r/MensRights25/02/22 01:07 AM
3

Like even a story with context, a screenshot. You can’t even say where you saw it, because you never saw it.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 01:01 AM
3

LOL ok bro
/r/MensRights25/02/22 12:59 AM
3

Yeah it’s hard to come up with the details when you lie, I’d suggest working on that a bit more.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 12:57 AM
3

You’re literally making this up. Like it’s really obvious.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 12:54 AM
3

Random people where? Who said it exactly?
/r/MensRights25/02/22 12:53 AM
6

Because it’s ridiculous. You tried to make it sound like feminism is threatening the safety of babies when that’s not even close to true.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 12:51 AM
3

Please provide evidence. No one says to pregnant women they can do drugs or drink. Not feminists not anyone. It’s not common. It’s not an issue.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 12:49 AM
1

Of course it’s good. Please don’t act like this is a common thing women say. It isn’t.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 12:38 AM
-3

It’s absurd. No one thinks this. Women are shamed for doing ANYTHING to risk their pregnancies and are most often extremely careful about following the rules. I know I was. If you test positive for drugs in the hospital in labour, they automatically take the baby and put them in foster care.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 12:37 AM
0

No one has ever said that.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 12:35 AM
-6

After the child is born? How?
/r/MensRights25/02/22 12:35 AM
-15

If men did the pregnancy let it would be reversed. The reason women get the say is because they are the ones who do the pregnancy.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 12:34 AM

They’re in St. Petersburg protesting the invasion.
/r/MensRights24/02/22 09:47 PM

I don’t need child support, but women do. Just like how you’re concerned with men. So you’re not a single father at all. You have a girlfriend who looks after your kids when you can’t. Must be nice! Glad you don’t need to pay for childcare because you have a girlfriend willing to watch someone else’s kids for free, but lots of women aren’t. Only about 30% of single mothers get child support.
/r/MensRights24/02/22 07:18 PM

People used to get married for stupid reasons more often, because they were expected to. Note that the divorce rate is also falling. What do you know about successful marriage? How long have you been happily married? watches you run away from answering
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/22 06:58 PM

Absurd. People haven’t stopped being or falling in love. I’ve been married 20 years.

If a rich basketball player leaves his wife and three kids, his cs payments should be based on income.
/r/MensRights24/02/22 06:15 PM

This is all already done. The formula you are using differs in each area. The reason it has to be based on income is so that the child does not live in poverty while a parent is rich.
/r/MensRights24/02/22 06:11 PM
0

I had twins. Plus a third kid. Kids are NOT toilet trained by two. That’s absurd. Many kids finish somewhere late into the third year or early fourth. Child support is calculated based on how much things cost and the incomes of the parents. It has to be based on the incomes of the parents because that’s how the standard of living the child is used to is maintained. Judges don’t like children living in poverty while one parent is rich. You still won’t explain how this accountability system would …
/r/MensRights24/02/22 05:42 PM
1

Ok so I’m not sure why you insist on the idea that there’s only one kid. If this kid is in diapers, the cost is upwards of $1800 a month. Per kid. If you pay that, how are you supposed to also pay rent food utilities clothes? Child support is based on preset calculations of how much everything costs. I don’t see how there would be “accountability”. You would need to show that the child wasn’t being cared for properly with the money. I imagine this would not be hard to show if the mother wasn’t p…

Many jobs do not pay enough to pay for daycare. Again, this type of calculation is already used. I don’t see how this would change anything.
/r/MensRights24/02/22 03:26 PM

They already use this type of calculation in all child support cases. It is never an arbitrary amount.
/r/MensRights24/02/22 03:25 PM

No accountability ideas eh? Haven’t really thought this through have you? LOL
/r/MensRights24/02/22 02:57 PM

Educate myself with what? Your opinions? You’ve provided nothing to back up anything you’ve said. It is rare for someone to be able to have a kid without the father at least knowing. It’s not common at all.
/r/MensRights24/02/22 02:54 PM

How would this accountability system work exactly? The child’s parent needs to be fed and housed in order to provide good care also.
/r/MensRights24/02/22 02:11 PM
0

What do you base “a large proportion” on exactly? The idea that women are inherently bad perhaps?
/r/MensRights24/02/22 01:54 PM
0

How is it not “treated as such”? Your assumption is that the 30% of single mothers who receive child support are automatically terrible mothers who don’t feed clothe or house their children?
/r/MensRights24/02/22 01:45 PM
0

No this is true overall, when you add it all up for women as a gender and for men. Usually when you guys realize the truth of it you start telling us women “choose” it, but either way the fact remains there is a great wealth and power disparity between men and women. So I ask again, what more do you want from us?
/r/MensRights24/02/22 03:14 AM

How? The data table lists the number of victims of each gender. There are thousands and thousands more women than men.
/r/MensRights24/02/22 03:06 AM

Taking into account the homeless population, over all, as a gender, men have far more money and power than women do as a gender. This is true across all levels of society.

Baby daddy? We’ve been married 20 years and he’s my best friend and perfect prince. You still need after school care if you work 9-5. Or if you are a security guard on the night shift. Or a nurse. What do the kids do from 7am? Hang out until school starts at nine? I stayed home for five years. I now have a job. Just like you!
/r/MensRights23/02/22 11:40 PM

Wrong. If the father is present and can consent, he can also not consent. Both the father and the mother are responsible for the child.

/r/MensRights23/02/22 10:38 PM

There is NO data to indicate that single mothers work less than single fathers. This is absurd and untrue. As the mother of three kids who also works, I can say it’s hard. I had newborn twins and a three year old. Multiple studies show that breastfeeding is better than bottle and parent is better than daycare. Those are the primary reasons mums stay home. Also daycare costs outweigh salaries of many jobs.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 10:37 PM
0

I looked at it. It does not say, as you imply, that men get raped at the same rates as women. It says women are the primary victims of sexual assault. Even when you include “other sexual violence”.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 10:24 PM
-1

I’m describing current reality without enough ramps. The reality is, mothers stay home with children full time more often. So judges will rule that mum continues to care for kids full time otherwise they would go to daycare. 50/50 is the default. People ask for different things.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 10:20 PM

Even if you count that, the numbers still show women experience all of it way way way more than men.

Yes I’m sorry, but the vast majority of both sexual assault and “rape” victims are women compared to men. Your data from the CDC shows that clearly. Women raping men is a very very small problem compared to men raping both men and women.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 10:10 PM
1

Again, when did it stop being work for you? Has it ever? Why would it for women?
/r/MensRights23/02/22 10:07 PM
1

Yes. She has to have to abortion, carry to term, or raise the child. She has to do something. You’re saying men should have to do nothing.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 10:06 PM
0

The reason men don’t get half of custody is because they don’t ask. Additionally, since the woman has been staying home in a lot of cases the judge won’t want to disrupt daily routines. So more time goes to the mom.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 10:05 PM
-1

You’ve totally misrepresented the data and I don’t understand why, anyone can look at it. You seem to be arguing that men are raped the same rate as women, but this is absurd and untrue according to all the studies you just linked. Look at the number of sexual assault victims in each gender.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 10:04 PM
1

Totally untrue. If a father wanted his child he could track them down and get them back. Legally. Artificial wombs are a long way off and they are currently being developed for premature infants, not to replace women. It’s too expensive and risky to ever be a real replacement for women.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 10:00 PM

Yes because the physical fact of pregnancy makes it different for women and men.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 09:59 PM
1

Only bad mothers do that, and frankly only bad fathers let it go on without challenge or help. Women choose to stay home and parent full time because of daycare costs and nursing requirements, it’s also shown to be greatly beneficial for children.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 09:58 PM
2

Not without the fathers consent. Similarly, the father would need the mothers consent.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 09:57 PM
2

You can’t “claim not to know who the father is” unless he has nothing to do with you after sex. You cannot arbitrarily leave out a father that wants to be involved. It’s as rare as any other crime to lie and steal the child away. It’s not common and it’s not reality. Safe haven laws cannot be used unilaterally. The man would have to be already absent to employ this option. Again very few babies are given up this way. Yes rapists are not legally allowed to raise children. I see no problem with th…
/r/MensRights23/02/22 09:56 PM

This is very rare. And if it wasn’t rape, it’s the fathers responsibility.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 09:53 PM
2

So we can’t account for pregnancy and still be equal in all other ways?
/r/MensRights23/02/22 09:52 PM

Yes but reproduction is inherently unequal because of pregnancy childbirth and to a lesser extent nursing.

The physical requirements lend themselves to rights over the physical body.

Men can’t choose to take on the pregnancy so they don’t get a choice in that regard.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 08:21 PM

What “abuse”? The imaginary hordes of women raping men and then forcing them to pay child support? Again, what are you doing to change the law in that regard? The ramp would accommodate women’s childcare needs. Paid parental leave of one year. Universal child care. These things would benefit all parents. Child support is fair and just and necessary. Also “hormones” affect men also. There is no evidence that periods make women less capable than men.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 08:20 PM
0

The legal arrangement IS WHAT MAKES CHILD SUPPORT CALCULATIONS POSSIBLE. The legal arrangement is divorce. There is also a legal relationship between father and child. Women who outearn men pay child support too. Everything you “proposed” is already well established and in the system.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 08:17 PM
1

Why do you think mothers take no responsibility? Is that what we see? Mostly single dads because the mothers took off?
/r/MensRights23/02/22 08:15 PM
1

Indeed. So what are you doing to lobby for legal changes?
/r/MensRights23/02/22 08:14 PM

That makes no sense. So childcare is work when you do it but not when women do?
/r/MensRights23/02/22 08:13 PM

Except again you’re leaving out the physical fact of pregnancy. Why are you pretending that it doesn’t exist or is insignificant?
/r/MensRights23/02/22 08:09 PM

What I said was, women as a gender have less money and power than men. You of course can’t answer my ownership question. The facts are as I said them. So how does that add up to privilege for women?
/r/MensRights23/02/22 08:08 PM
0

Pregnancy means reproduction is inherently unequal.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 08:07 PM
1

How often does this happen? Like really. Also if a father had custody of a baby because the mother died in childbirth or whatever, he could do the same thing.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 08:07 PM
0

Also - I did not ask you how you have spoken out for women’s rights, and of course I have only ever defended women’s reproductive rights.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 06:54 PM
1

Women do not OWN the wealth. Please explain how ownership does not confer a distinct advantage. Women occupy a significantly lower percentage of power and leadership roles across every sector and every organization.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 06:53 PM
0

The reproductive process is inherently unequal. This in no way means that either gender is “better” than the other in any other context. I don’t think of disability as bad so I will use this analogy: disabled people may need accommodation such as ramps, this does not mean they are unequal. They are physically different. In one sense.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 06:51 PM
-1

You are ignorant of parenthood. Entirely.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 06:46 PM
-1

Have you written any petitions or lobbied the government about this issue? Women, as a gender, have overall much much less wealth ownership and power than men as a gender. That is not “privileged”.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 06:45 PM
0

Why are you acting like there aren’t already standard calculations for child support? Do you think it’s decided differently in each case?
/r/MensRights23/02/22 06:44 PM
-1

Infanticide is not the reason for reproductive health laws or programs. Women do not commonly kill their children. I know many women who were for example offered terminations when the ultrasound showed severe disability, they wanted those kids anyways. That’s the default.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 06:43 PM
-1

What were the specific circumstances? Had the mother been staying home?
/r/MensRights23/02/22 06:41 PM
-1

Do you not believe in love? Don’t you think men want to have babies too? Why do you think of marriage as some ice cold transaction? Child support is necessary. Whoever pays whatever their gender. The reason men pay more is because women stay home. I stayed home for years with my three kids including twins. There’s no time to watch daytime tv and eat bonbons if you don’t have a nanny/chef/maid.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 06:41 PM
-6

You know very well these arrangements are based on the idea that women often stay home and sacrifice earning potential to raise kids. Whoever stays home is going to starve despite contributing real labour to the family.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 06:39 PM
1

You keep leaving out pregnancy. That makes reproduction inherently unequal.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 06:37 PM
0

That 10 percent figure makes no sense because it includes those who “tried”. I imagine the rate of success is low. Have you ever lobbied the government, wrote a petition, or organized a demonstration over this issue? Why not?
/r/MensRights23/02/22 06:37 PM
-1

Yet you reply. As if four years isn’t enough. Please. Men get raped and that’s different, but we are talking about child support AS A WHOLE not in rare weird cases. Child support is necessary and just.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 06:36 PM

She has to endure the pregnancy that’s why she makes the choice. Rape is not a choice for either gender.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 06:30 PM

/r/MensRights23/02/22 06:29 PM

/r/MensRights23/02/22 05:28 PM
-1

There are lots of rare victims. Their rare cases shouldn’t be used to make laws.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 05:28 PM
-4

That makes no sense. The government doesn’t keep that money, it goes to citizens. They don’t profit from receiving it. Child support is calculated based on family income. This means if the father is rich and the mother is poor, the kids will have reasonable living in both houses. If the mother is rich, then she pays. Men don’t often go for 50/50.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 05:27 PM

Then the father isn’t present. But if he finds out he has every right to see the child.

This rare situation does not negate the necessity of child support laws.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 05:23 PM

You’re again leaving out the physical fact of pregnancy. Child support is just and appropriate. If it didn’t exist men could just walk away at any time and never support their child.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 05:22 PM
0

Yes there is a universal calculation based on family income. It applies to both genders. Also child support is for those things you list.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 04:56 PM
-4

Only if the father agrees to that. If he find out he can get a test. It’s much more common for men to walk away.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 04:54 PM

That’s super wrong, women are the ones who take most of the responsibility for children this has been true for centuries. Are you saying you’re anti-choice? What about rape?

-3

You keep leaving out the physical fact of pregnancy
/r/MensRights23/02/22 04:53 PM

What loopholes exactly??
/r/MensRights23/02/22 04:52 PM
-6

What “further choices” are these? I could not have given up any of my kids for adoption for example without their father’s consent legally.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 04:02 PM
-2

Only women can endure pregnancy and childbirth. So they decide about the pregnancy.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 04:01 PM
-3

Also, you are leaving out the burden of pregnancy and birth itself, which is solely endured by the mother and can result in injury or death.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 03:59 PM
-2

The woman cannot independently decide on the child’s welfare after the cut off point for termination without the father’s consent.
/r/MensRights23/02/22 03:58 PM

So you should be able to have a child, leave at any time during childhood, and just never contribute to the child’s welfare ever again?
/r/MensRights23/02/22 02:48 PM

It’s too hard to argue with me? How am I abusing you exactly. Let me repeat: if it was really true that you were the stay at home dad with your special needs child while the mother worked, it wouldn’t make any sense to give full custody to the mother because then, the child would go to daycare instead of staying with you during the day. So how did the judge justify that arrangement in your case?

You’re divorced because you’re an idiot. You have even less of a chance at a successful marriage now, but you must know that. You all think feminists are alone but we are all happily married while you flounder. We have equal partnerships and are best friends with our spouses and we have great sex too, but none of that fits into your cartoon fantasies of what feminism is so you won’t acknowledge it. You’ll never have a good relationship with a woman because you believe this anti-feminist nonsense…

/r/MensRights21/02/22 11:32 PM

/r/MensRights21/02/22 11:24 PM

Bro you don’t even have kids, you don’t know what you’re talking about. Also I’m encouraging him to get custody, not walk away from it.

Please provide a list of cases where the father was the stay at home parent and did not get at least 50% custody/time with kids. Think about that. If the mother got them in that case they would be in daycare rather than a parent. That makes no sense and is why the mother gets more time when they are a stay at home parent.

/r/MensRights21/02/22 09:29 PM

From the judges perspective, the child spends more time with and is more connected to one parent. So that’s what it’s based on. Wouldn’t it make more sense not to cheat so your marriage doesn’t fall apart? I fail to see how any of this disproves the fact that my husband and I are madly in love and have been for the last 20 years, and will likely die within hours of each other. Even your ridiculous “stats” say that MOST women do not date for free food. Ridiculous. What do men date for in this scenario? Sex alone? I wouldn’t have anything to do with men like that.
/r/MensRights02/09/21 12:44 AM
-12

And so when have they killed these men? Show me one instance of a woman killing strange men because of social media posts that say “kill all men”. When have feminists rented vans and mowed strangers over? Where are the supreme gentlewomen making feminist videos in their cars before going on murder sprees?
/r/MensRights01/09/21 07:47 PM

I don’t know what kind of women you date but they sound gross. I’ve never “dated”. It sounds super lame. What a horrible little world you live in! Thank goodness it’s not the real one.

Radfems have a history of terrorism. Ok.
/r/MensRights01/09/21 03:30 PM

Sorry, when did a female terrorist group steal a bunch of young boys and sell them into sex slavery?
/r/MensRights01/09/21 03:00 PM

You made a bunch of generalizations about women and how they don’t love unconditionally, and when I asked if the same applies to men you said all men are individuals.
/r/MensRights01/09/21 02:47 PM
1

So every man is different, but all women are the same?
/r/MensRights01/09/21 01:57 PM

And you suggest that men love women unconditionally??
/r/MensRights01/09/21 01:32 PM

No a romantic relationship is where you exchange love. All else is superfluous.

You all agree on the redpill. Eliot Rodger talked about it, all the incel murderers talked about it. The Plymouth murderer frequented this very sub. It’s no secret where the redpill misogynist bullshit leads - it leads to violence, it leads to isolation, pain, obsession with feminism and women, and ultimately murder. 8 times so far. And it all starts here, right in this place. Everyone on incels.is is also on Reddit, they’re all here, lurking, commenting. They feed on the “information” you post …

Yeah dude, he’s my slave. I don’t even talk to him. He just serves me things.
/r/MensRights01/09/21 02:52 AM
1

Your ex girlfriend is weird and selfish. Her behaviour has nothing to do with women in general. I wouldn’t generalize all men from this sub for example. Most men support feminism. Nobody thinks in terms of laying down ones life for each other. That is a fantasy. I never got involved with anyone because I thought they would protect me with their life or something. That’s Star Trek alien shit. We aren’t at active war. I know most men would never believe the things on this sub, I don’t judge all me…

And so what I have with my husband isn’t real? What if we die within hours of each other? Would it be real then? And you just proved my point again - that MRA’s have a dim view of romantic relationships that rules out real or “true love”, yet another reason it is incompatible with life itself.
/r/MensRights01/09/21 02:46 AM

Run from this place. It won’t help you. And of course you will.
/r/MensRights01/09/21 02:44 AM

Holy fuck! I don’t understand what motivates you people. You are obsessed with women even though you’re a men’s rights forum. You think feminism is causing male suicide. In extreme forms, your ideas have inspired mass murders. To me your obsession with women is about not being loved, being angry with women for not loving you. I confirmed that here today. You think all women are out to get men, that’s why you are loveless and pathetic. And yeah, when someone says there’s no such thing I will use …

I have true love. And yes of course there have been highs and lows over twenty-years - we have been in a particularly tough place over the last four years - but our love has only deepened in that time. I am still in love with him just the way I was as a young woman. True love lives.

/r/MensRights31/08/21 11:13 PM

And those that say they’ve experienced it?
/r/MensRights31/08/21 10:58 PM

I wanted to start a discussion, not get one dimensional poll answers. It’s just like I said, I wanted to find out if MRA’s view all male female relationships as purely transactional. Based on money and sex alone. A financial arrangement, ultimately.
/r/MensRights31/08/21 10:57 PM
1

It looks like MRA’s see male female relationships as purely (and largely superficially) transactional. I wanted to see if this is really true. From most of the responses I got here, that seems to be the case.
/r/MensRights31/08/21 10:39 PM
1

I’m specifically talking romance!
/r/MensRights31/08/21 10:38 PM

An everlasting romantic relationship filled with passion and fulfillment. That’s what I mean.
/r/MensRights31/08/21 10:27 PM
1

You do not have to be perfect or near perfect to be in love or find love. Many poor, stupid and ugly people are in love right now. I suggest that trying to become everything on someone’s checklist is not a good way to find love. If someone has a checklist at all, that’s a red flag in my mind. If someone loves you, that is often enough. Any love that arose because of someone’s money or looks or other superficial item is highly suspicious.
/r/MensRights31/08/21 10:24 PM

Ah yes, you have to say I prioritize emotions because I am a woman, and you logic because you are a male. Yes I am chaos, you are order. Please don’t patronize me.

An everlasting romantic relationship filled with passion and fulfillment.
/r/MensRights31/08/21 10:08 PM

So then why is everyone on this thread insisting that having “conditions” (Im reading this as reasons) for falling love somehow means it isn’t true love?
/r/MensRights31/08/21 10:06 PM
1

I still don’t understand how having reasons for falling in love with a person somehow implies that the love isn’t real.
/r/MensRights31/08/21 10:05 PM
0

What is the nature of a condition? Is it always bad?
/r/MensRights31/08/21 09:57 PM
-1

Conditions implies transaction. I am not exchanging anything for the love of this man except my own love. There are reasons I fell in love with this man but the term “conditions” implies that if he transgresses - looks different, grows, becomes a different person, loses his job - that I won’t love him anymore. Nothing could be further from the truth. That’s what makes it true love. We have been though many things, had many fights, suffered, and the one thing we’ve always been able to depend on i…
/r/MensRights31/08/21 09:54 PM
-1

You call me a Nazi for saying you all think male female relationships are all transactional and then proceed to tell me that yes they are and there’s nothing wrong with that. You can exchange whatever for whatever in a relationship, but that isn’t love. Love is better.
/r/MensRights31/08/21 09:49 PM
-2

This makes no sense. People fall in love with each other for reasons, those are not the same as conditions.
/r/MensRights31/08/21 09:45 PM
-1

I agree with the 25% figure, but that represents a LOT of people. True love is not that rare after all, is it? Love lasts MUCH longer than 3-4 years. Over time it becomes much deeper. Like I said I’ve experienced it for twenty years. Finances have nothing to do with love. I know women who look for money and men who look for breasts only and they’re both deluded trash.
/r/MensRights31/08/21 09:43 PM
0

There are always reasons you fall in love with someone! This doesn’t mean it’s not true love. True love is mystical and magical, and that’s why it’s been the subject of so much art. Incels or not, you see all male female relationships as purely transactional.
/r/MensRights31/08/21 09:40 PM
-1

True love exists and has been recorded to exist across all cultures, countries, and time itself. It is universal. I live true love everyday and have for twenty years. I know other couples who do as well. Are we deluded? Just what are we experiencing? Your cynicism will not serve you in the end.
/r/MensRights31/08/21 09:33 PM
1

So only a tiny fraction of men can really love women as well then?
/r/MensRights31/08/21 09:30 PM
-1

And homeless people fall in love all the time. I’ve seen many homeless couples.
/r/MensRights31/08/21 09:27 PM
1

When I fell in love with my husband he was a broke poet. Money has nothing to do with true love. Everyone who dates or marries for money is disgusting.
/r/MensRights31/08/21 09:26 PM
-2

Male poets and artists have been composing about true love for thousands of years. Many millions of men have experienced it!
/r/MensRights31/08/21 09:24 PM
-3

My point is that you only see relationships between men and women as purely transactional. This must be because none of you believe there is such a thing as true love. The love you think exists is pretend, conditional, limited and limiting. That’s why you hate women.
/r/MensRights31/08/21 09:18 PM
-4

Exactly. Many people marry without truly being in love.
/r/MensRights31/08/21 09:12 PM
-10

I didn’t believe either, until it happened to me.
/r/MensRights31/08/21 09:08 PM
-9

Just because you’ve never experienced it doesn’t mean it’s not real.
/r/MensRights31/08/21 09:07 PM

True love lasts forever.
/r/MensRights31/08/21 09:06 PM
-3

How is it impossible if people have it? I have it.
/r/MensRights31/08/21 09:06 PM
-6

Of course it does! You just haven’t found it yet. It will be impossible for you to fall in love if you see women as wanting money all the time. When I fell in love with my husband he was a poor poet. Anyone who dates for money is a pig. It’s important to see women as interesting people. Cleanse yourself of the notion that all women are only seeking money! You have to truly believe in love to find it.
/r/MensRights31/08/21 08:29 PM
-6

Of course it does! I myself live it every day, for the past twenty years.
/r/MensRights31/08/21 08:19 PM
-6

Don’t you believe in true love?
/r/MensRights31/08/21 08:17 PM
0

Fuck you for calling me a dog. Is it cool if I call you a mass murdering pig? Because you seem to have a lot of mass murderers on your team. Even the Plymouth shooter liked to frequent this sub. I like how you use MY TERM “judicial sexism” and then claim I didn’t acknowledge it. I totally acknowledge judicial sexism. It is derived from a patriarchal culture that ties men’s value to what they earn.
/r/MensRights29/08/21 03:36 AM
0

This is an interesting article, but it attributes the lack of alimony for men to several things - not just judicial sexism. The original poster claims that men are “forced to pay without getting compensated” and I don’t really understand what that means, but it sounds like men are being forced to pay unfair amounts? But I understand that alimony is calculated according to a schedule, I don’t understand how women are en mass getting more than they are entitled to. The article seems to suggest tha…
/r/MensRights29/08/21 03:23 AM
0

Why don’t you start with where you picked up the idea in the first place? Then provide something authoritative that states this. Then some articles with stories in them of this happening. Anything really.
/r/MensRights29/08/21 02:23 AM
0

Please provide proof men are asking for alimony and not getting it.
/r/MensRights29/08/21 01:58 AM
2

Because the man didn’t ask for it
/r/MensRights28/08/21 10:14 PM
1

So few men ask for alimony. This is women’s fault how?
/r/MensRights28/08/21 10:14 PM
2

Women make more than their partners 80% of the time. Please show your sources for this claim.
/r/MensRights28/08/21 09:04 PM
-2

The original posting contends - and this is a common MRA talking point - is that alimony is somehow sexist because men pay it most often. But what this means is that women generally have no money from having children, not that courts are sexist. If you can prove men don’t get alimony when they ask for it and it’s justified, then ok. But you can’t because this literally never happens.
/r/MensRights28/08/21 09:03 PM
-1

Please demonstrate the cases where men with less money have asked for alimony and not had it paid out.
/r/MensRights28/08/21 08:50 PM
1

So it went from 3% to .5% now. Ok.
/r/MensRights28/08/21 08:49 PM
1

Way less likely to get even when they have less money. Show me where this happens. Use evidence that shows a pattern.
/r/MensRights28/08/21 08:38 PM
1

So what do your stats mean? Are you not saying that your stats show that women get paid alimony even when they have less money than the man? If so, prove it! Show me where this has ever happened.
/r/MensRights28/08/21 08:33 PM
2

Ok - so then what has that got to with the unfair treatment of men?
/r/MensRights28/08/21 08:04 PM
2

Do the statistics he provided not suggest that alimony is paid to women spouses more often even if the woman has more money? If not, what do they mean exactly?
/r/MensRights28/08/21 07:16 PM
2

So you cite random statistics that have no source and cannot prove, but I’m the one somehow misunderstanding. You keep saying men have to pay alimony even in some cases where the woman has more money. So prove it. Show me where this has EVER happened.
/r/MensRights28/08/21 07:04 PM
1

Please cite sources proving this true. Point out some cases where this has happened. You can’t, because it’s a lie.
/r/MensRights28/08/21 06:56 PM
1

So that would mean that alimony is gendered unfairly in practice and that it is paid to women even in cases where the woman has more wealth. So please, point out these cases.
/r/MensRights28/08/21 06:41 PM
-1

The reverse is true for men if they have no money. Women have no money primarily because of having children. The spouse’s children. Alimony is not gendered.
/r/MensRights28/08/21 06:29 PM
1

Based on INCOME. Again, if you can show me cases where alimony was NOT provided to the lower income spouse, I’d like to see it.
/r/MensRights28/08/21 06:07 PM
0

Women pay the same if they make more than men.
/r/MensRights28/08/21 05:53 PM
0

So exactly what are you claiming?
/r/MensRights28/08/21 05:34 PM
-4

Please do me the honor of pointing to some cases where in a divorce, the higher earning spouse got alimony.
/r/MensRights28/08/21 05:29 PM
-39

Yes because women have less money than men. Like I said.
/r/MensRights28/08/21 05:23 PM
-30

Alimony is never paid to the higher earning spouse.
/r/MensRights28/08/21 05:21 PM
-45

This is such a ridiculous MRA talking point. Alimony goes to whoever makes the least money, no matter what the gender. As a group, women mostly have less money, especially in the context of a straight marriage where they might have had to stay home and care for kids. So they get alimony most of the time. Alimony is not a rule against men. It goes both ways.
/r/MensRights28/08/21 04:27 PM
0

Most women are not conventionally attractive.
/r/MensRights27/08/21 04:01 PM
1

Yes they can - it’s based on whoever has less money, not gender
/r/MensRights27/08/21 04:00 PM
1

Alimony is NOT gender specific. Because women generally own less money than men, they are mostly the ones who receive alimony. But the reverse would be true if men had less money.
/r/MensRights27/08/21 03:59 PM
-1

If you think living off of family is the same as being financially independent, that’s absurd. Ownership confers many advantages.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates27/08/21 04:06 AM
-1

Just to be clear - your contention is that ownership does not confer any advantage? I’m tired I’m going to watch Star Trek.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates27/08/21 04:00 AM
-1

Really? So ownership confers no advantage at all? LOL
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates27/08/21 03:46 AM
0

Yes, because it makes sense to say that ownership does not confer any additional advantage or power. Sure. Yes. Ok.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates27/08/21 03:37 AM
0

Also this started as a conversation about wealth and power.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates27/08/21 03:34 AM
0

They do not own the wealth. They are at a significant disadvantage because they do not own the wealth. I’m tired of this I’m going to watch Star Trek.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates27/08/21 03:33 AM
-1

That’s absurd. Children do not have the same financial power as their parents by any means. Your twisting reality to fit your absurd MRA narrative. Having a credit card with a $50000 limit is not the same as owning $50000.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates27/08/21 03:30 AM
-1

Uh, yes. They don’t own the wealth, they have no real control over it. The parent who owns the wealth can be generous, or they can not be, but that is not the child’s decision, ultimately. Children are powerless next to adults.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates27/08/21 03:21 AM
-4

Ownership is the only actual way to measure wealth.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates27/08/21 03:18 AM
-4

Despite the MRA obsession with divorce, the fact remains that women own 32 cents for every male owned dollar in the US. So divorces are clearly not a good path to wealth for women. You can’t measure wealth any other way except by owning it. Legal ownership. Actual, UNQUALIFIED power.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates27/08/21 03:17 AM
0

What does “control” mean? Is it the same as ownership? https://hbr.org/2019/10/closing-the-gender-wealth-gap https://www.latimes.com/opinion/op-ed/la-oe-reich-mcculloch-womens-wealth-gap-20170825-story.html https://ourworldindata.org/economic-inequality-by-gender
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates27/08/21 03:15 AM

So the unmistakeable progressions women have made in obtaining wealth and power over the last forty years are just random chance. Yeah. LOL
/r/AntiFeminists27/08/21 03:06 AM
-7

That’s absurd. This is like saying you can judge how someone’s doing by the house they live in rather than whether they own it, as if you could equivocate owning and renting just because it’s the same building. Clearly the financial advantage is in owning the house outright.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates27/08/21 02:59 AM
-1

And why are they making those choices? What was stopping them before?
/r/AntiFeminists27/08/21 02:57 AM
-5

Women own 32 cents to every male dollar. There’s no way to misinterpret that.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates27/08/21 02:56 AM
-8

Women own 32 cents to every male owned dollar. This puts them at a severe disadvantage. Why are you so interested in justifying this gap? Don’t you believe in equality, don’t you want to close it? Why is that disparity ok with you? And more importantly, how in the hell does that disparity add up to makes being disadvantaged? For every poor man, there is statistically a poorer woman.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates27/08/21 01:58 AM
0

What accounts for women progressively earning more and getting more leadership roles in the last say, forty years?
/r/AntiFeminists27/08/21 01:55 AM
-1

I’m not going anywhere. Ban me harder. Secondly, so now you’re agreeing you do exactly the same thing you accuse feminists of doing. How is that not entirely hypocritical? Also, women own 32 cents for every male owned dollar in the US, so clearly women are the disadvantaged ones. Let’s be clear.
/r/AntiFeminists27/08/21 12:32 AM
-1

You CONSTANTLY say men are disadvantaged. Because of feminism. CONSTANTLY.
/r/AntiFeminists27/08/21 12:20 AM
-13

Taken as a group, women have less money than men. So that’s why they are defined as economically disadvantaged. Women own 32 cents to every male owned dollar in the US.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates26/08/21 11:57 PM
-2

Aren’t you constantly looking for reasons that men are “oppressed”?
/r/AntiFeminists26/08/21 11:41 PM
0

Women and feminists are responsible for men’s suicides??
/r/AntiFeminists26/08/21 08:13 PM
1

And in contemporary times?
/r/AntiFeminists26/08/21 08:09 PM
1

Please, provide links!
/r/AntiFeminists26/08/21 08:05 PM
-2

How is that not exactly what you’re doing?
/r/AntiFeminists26/08/21 08:01 PM
1

Try having three kids under three and tell me it isn’t work. Please.
/r/AntiFeminists26/08/21 08:00 PM
1

Equal representation at the highest levels of society, of course.
/r/AntiFeminists26/08/21 07:58 PM
1

Having a credit card with a $50000 limit is not the same as actually owning $50000. We are talking about who OWNS the wealth. Additionally, what I said about power is true at ALL LEVELS and throughout almost ALL sectors. Men do not dominate management and leadership roles just at the very top, the dominate all the way down too. Even in female dominated fields such as education, women do not make up fully half of the principal roles.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates26/08/21 05:41 PM
0

So you don’t mind women saying things like “all men are rapists at heart” or “all men are violent”?
/r/MensRights26/08/21 05:01 PM
1

Men occupy a much larger percentage of leadership roles at all levels, and they own a vastly disproportionate amount of wealth. That’s why we say men have the power. You can and probably will attempt to justify this by saying that women somehow choose less money and power all the time, but if this were true we wouldn’t have seen wealth and power gains over time amongst women over say, the last forty years, and yet we have.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates26/08/21 04:36 PM
1

Why is this extremely negative, inaccurate, and destructive generalization of women ok?
/r/MensRights26/08/21 04:04 PM
0

So in other words, your negative generalizations of women are justified?
/r/MensRights26/08/21 04:03 PM
2

It’s made up.
/r/MensRights26/08/21 01:41 PM
1

I don’t think either side gets anywhere making negative generalizations about entire genders. It’s destructive and pointless. There are too many exceptions.
/r/MensRights26/08/21 01:28 PM
1

So it’s cool for you to do it, but not cool for women to do it?
/r/MensRights26/08/21 01:25 PM
2

Yes, fathers should stay home and raise children.
/r/MensRights26/08/21 01:09 PM
1

Do you know “most women”?
/r/MensRights26/08/21 12:52 PM
1

I don’t think they’re looking to recruit with this move. This was about something else. And look! We’re talking about it. Hey what an absurd and gross thing it is to try to penalize women for getting medical procedures done! Don’t you think?
/r/MensRights26/08/21 01:16 AM
0

So you’re saying they should have fought to participate? That’s your bar? So what about men who didn’t want to go to war? Why are voting right and the right to be made to participate in war the same? Who protests in favour of war?
/r/MensRights26/08/21 12:57 AM
0

What about her? She was a pacifist who fought against war her whole life. Again you refuse to address my point that women aren’t ALLOWED to register for the draft. They didn’t like, get an offer and refuse.
/r/MensRights26/08/21 12:43 AM
-5

LOL. I won’t hold my breath. The post says what it says. It doesn’t specify some “sub group” of women.
/r/MensRights25/08/21 08:34 PM
-5

Yeah, because men never lie. As I said in my comment, it’s a highly effective protest and this is an important issue.
/r/MensRights25/08/21 08:16 PM
-6

He’s talking about all women. Clearly.
/r/MensRights25/08/21 08:15 PM
-4

It’s highly effective, isn’t it?
/r/MensRights25/08/21 08:13 PM
0

“Women choose lower paying jobs.” “Women choose lower responsibility” “women choose not to be managers”
/r/MensRights25/08/21 07:58 PM
-3

Absurd misogyny.
/r/MensRights25/08/21 07:03 PM
1

You say women have a right to be angry, but not to protest? This is a highly effective mode of protest.
/r/MensRights25/08/21 06:55 PM
0

And you dodged the point that women are not allowed to register, they never asked not to be.
/r/MensRights25/08/21 06:25 PM
0

When did suffragettes ever say or feminists ever say they didn’t want to take on responsibilities? They wanted the right to vote, we want the same opportunities and rights that men have. You keep ignoring that women are not allowed to register, not that they choose not to. You cannot hold sexism against women! They did not choose it!
/r/MensRights25/08/21 05:57 PM
-1

Yes, since they are both not allowed and not required to register. Women did not choose this or make this law.
/r/MensRights25/08/21 04:10 PM
0

We’ve established that it’s mandatory. There are fines and you can’t get federal service. What does this have to do with women voting? Also where have women had control over the way this works? Have women actively campaigned against women having to register?
/r/MensRights25/08/21 02:41 PM
1

I don’t understand what this has to do with women voting or feminism. It’s feminism that is responsible for women in the military after all!
/r/MensRights25/08/21 02:36 PM

I think it’s disgusting that there is still a military draft in the us, but women have not asked/campaigned to be exempt. Women were not allowed to be in the military for decades and they fought to be included. Are you saying that in sane countries where there is no draft, people shouldn’t be allowed to vote??
/r/MensRights25/08/21 01:54 PM

What? What does that mean?

I wonder why women’s access to wealth and power has increased in tandem with the rise of feminism?
/r/MensRights25/08/21 12:35 PM

What does this even mean? Women weren’t allowed to be soldiers at that time.

So more women were not allowed to own property than men, throughout history since Biblical times. Please explain where men were not allowed to own property and women were. Provide examples. It’s absurd to say that women didn’t need bank accounts. They were denied this simple right while men were allowed it. Who are you to say what women need or don’t need? I don’t understand this property owner shit you MRA’s try to pull. Non-property owners were allowed to vote in 1856. Women weren’t allowed to…
/r/MensRights24/08/21 09:45 PM

What? So there is no draft now. Does that mean men are now irresponsible voters as well?? Ridiculous.
/r/MensRights24/08/21 09:28 PM

Money is not the cause of most divorces, and most women do not marry for status. In my own case, I married for love and love only. There are always “higher status options”. There are always people with more money or whatever. And yet most women do not cheat. They do not dump their spouses in constant pursuit of a higher status husband.
/r/MensRights24/08/21 09:27 PM
-2

So what was with all the restrictions on women then? Not being able to own property, not being allowed to have bank accounts, not being able to vote, taking husband’s name (oh wait! We still do that don’t we?) What was that exactly? Equality?
/r/MensRights24/08/21 09:16 PM
2

So most women are shallow foids always looking for a better deal? And what of men, are they always looking for a better sexual deal? What a dim view, and hardly based in reality. There is such a thing as true love. Most people don’t cheat.
/r/MensRights24/08/21 09:14 PM
-5

What responsibilities of voting did they not perform? And what about now? Do women still not deserve the right to vote?
/r/MensRights24/08/21 08:43 PM
1

So what’s the conclusion? That the average person cheats? Data does not bear this out.
/r/MensRights24/08/21 08:07 PM
1

Yes overall, on average, taken altogether, across all levels, men have MUCH more money and power than women. This includes all income levels and all levels of management. For every poor man, statistically there is ALWAYS a poorer woman.
/r/MensRights24/08/21 07:26 PM
2

Also, a movie? Really?
/r/MensRights24/08/21 07:20 PM
-2

It’s ONE paper on a theory. There are many papers illustrating how and why men cheat as well. This does not mean all men are cheaters. I have been married for 20 years. I do no chasing. Like I said, the divorce rate is 30% for educated people. So they aren’t chasing either. So are all those people and myself “exceptional”? Am I not a typical woman?
/r/MensRights24/08/21 07:20 PM
1

Hmm. So did patriarchy ever exist? When did it stop? And why would there be no after effects of such a system?
/r/MensRights24/08/21 07:13 PM
0

What is that supposed to mean?
/r/MensRights24/08/21 07:12 PM

The number was 70%. I thought boys were good at math.
/r/MensRights24/08/21 07:10 PM

And men cheat more often than women, and who are they cheating with, always poorer quality women? It would be just as easy for me to say something ridiculous like “men always dump women for younger women” but only some men do that. I would never generalize.
/r/MensRights24/08/21 07:04 PM
-1

This is one study that poses a theory. It is not evidence that women will “always” pick a “higher-status” mate. The divorce rate continues to lower and for educated people, it’s only 30%.
/r/MensRights24/08/21 07:02 PM
-6

I agree, but this entire sub - let’s be honest - is about putting women down. The root cause of the suicide rate, military deaths, workplace deaths, that’s all to do with women somehow. Feminism has somehow caused all men’s problems.
/r/MensRights24/08/21 07:00 PM
-4

I don’t think this is fair. Plenty of other posts on this sub are just like this.

What do you mean? It hurts more emotionally for men? How do you quantify that? I think it hurts equally for both genders, unless you’re talking about physical pain. I’m sure there are studies on which gender sustains the most injury from domestic violence and I’m sure you can guess what they say.
/r/MensRights23/08/21 01:41 AM

Of course I can prove it. He didn’t post about weapons and doesn’t mention them, so obviously he wasn’t talking about them.
/r/MensRights22/08/21 10:34 PM

I’m not against it all. The original poster asks why there is a difference. I provided an explanation.
/r/MensRights22/08/21 10:14 PM
1

I’ve seen that link before. Funnily, no one ever comes up with another. There must be more, no? I have plenty that show the majority of victims are women. Again, the original post was asking why is different when men hit women vs when women hit men. I said it’s because men are stronger than women. You have yet to disprove this. My point stands. You cannot argue in good faith, it is impossible for you. I feel sad for you.
/r/MensRights22/08/21 09:39 PM
1

THE CONVERSATION WAS NEVER ABOUT WEAPONS. YOU INTRODUCED THEM BECAUSE YOU WERE LOSING. Also men are the majority of domestic violence perpetrators. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/11149306/
/r/MensRights22/08/21 08:13 PM
0

What? You move the goalposts to include weapons even though the OP doesn’t mention them, and I’m the asshole? The OP does not mention weapons! Also, men perpetrate the vast majority of weapon violence anyway, so how does that prove your point? You’re willing to acknowledge the physical differences when it suits you, but not in this case. Absurd. You aren’t fooling anyone.
/r/MensRights22/08/21 07:59 PM
0

And why would that be true? Could it be the strength difference? Thus proving my point, that men hitting women and women hitting men can have vastly different consequences BECAUSE OF THE STRENGTH DIFFERENCE???
/r/MensRights22/08/21 07:24 PM
0

How is it a tiny rare scenario when it’s very true that in general terms men are stronger than women? If this were rarely true why would women not be allowed to compete against men in professional sports?
/r/MensRights22/08/21 05:50 PM
0

This is absurd. You’re moving the goalposts because you lost. The OP clearly is about hitting and no weapons are mentioned, because we were never talking about hitting with weapons. It doesn’t matter much because anyone reading this thread will see clearly that you were beaten by a woman, again.
/r/MensRights22/08/21 05:38 PM
0

We are talking about HITTING. Hitting SPECIFICALLY. That’s what the original post was about. HITTING.
/r/MensRights22/08/21 05:22 PM
0

No hitting is never ok. But it’s clear that men on average hitting average women would have more sever consequences for the women.
/r/MensRights22/08/21 05:09 PM

As you’ve admitted, one gender is on average stronger than the other.
/r/MensRights22/08/21 04:57 PM

Since when are we talking about weapons? We’re talking about hitting. And women are far more likely to be injured, and injured worse in domestic disputes.
/r/MensRights22/08/21 04:34 PM

Yes, so as I said in my original post, it stands to reason that in general terms, there are different consequences for when men hit women and women hit men.
/r/MensRights22/08/21 03:59 PM
-8

On average, taken together, it is easily demonstrable that men are stronger physically than women.
/r/MensRights22/08/21 03:42 PM
-15

You are now debating this? Do I need to point out that there are women’s sports and men’s sports?
/r/MensRights22/08/21 03:11 PM
-24

If it’s true, as you so often point out, that men are stronger and more powerful than women on average, it stands to reason that men hitting women and women hitting men can have vastly different consequences, no?
/r/MensRights22/08/21 02:04 PM
0

Yes if you add up all the money and management/supervisory/leadership roles on the planet and then divided it up by gender, you’d have women with much less. You MRA’s argue that women are inferior and this power and money differential is somehow well deserved and justified, but it exists either way.

Since murders are far more likely to be performed with a gun, which does not require physical strength, I’d say your whole bigger and stronger thing doesn’t really add up. I’d like to know where you’re getting the 70% of domestic violence is started by women thing, I don’t get why it means. Are you saying the women are starting the fight? Also where is this statistic published? The point I was making that you can’t address is that incel ideology drives people to kill, feminism does not.
/r/MensRights19/08/21 09:12 PM

None of those killers said they were killing in the name of feminism.
/r/MensRights19/08/21 09:08 PM

I never and would never say women don’t murder. They certainly don’t murder at anywhere near the rates men do. That’s why crime shows like Women Who Kill are so popular and fascinating, because women killing is a novelty. Women have never and will never murder explicitly in the name of feminism. No woman has ever murdered a bunch of people at once and claimed to have done it in the name of feminism. Incels, however, have. Repeatedly. That’s why they are designated as a dangerous group in Canada.…
/r/MensRights19/08/21 08:11 PM

There are HUNDREDS of serial killers that kill only women. You cannot count those as incel murders. Incel murders are when the killer explicitly states: yes, the redpill/incel ideology is what motivated me to murder. There is no feminist equivalent.
/r/MensRights19/08/21 07:49 PM

Valerie Solanas cannot be quoted as saying feminism was the motive for her murder. Similarly, Aileen did not identify as feminist nor did she cite feminism as the reason for her murders. She is no different than any other serial killer. Casey Anthony’s case also had nothing to do with feminism. Although she denies her murder, feminism was never suggested as a motive. I’m talking about feminists who literally killed because of feminism. I would not list a bunch of male serial killers and cite inc…

Um, because there are several examples of murderers who self-identified as incels, and cite redpill/incel ideology as the motivation for the murders. There is no similar group of feminists who murder and then cite feminism as the motivation for their murders. It’s long been established that the vast majority of violent crimes are performed by men. Yes women do better than men until they have children. Once you have children, you are never allowed to really participate in society again, your career suffers because you take the year maternity leave, you’re seen as divided between work and home, all doubled and or tripled or whatever the more kids you have. Apparently if you have children your brain is supposed to turn off and you never want to be successful or contribute meaningfully ever again. So women are punished for having children, pu…

Patriarchal conceptions of men disallow the kinds of emotional expression in men that inspire empathy as well, so there’s that. I think it’s fair to assume a given woman has less agency than an average man given the wealth and power inequity.
/r/MensRights17/08/21 01:07 AM
1

In that Wikipedia article it suggests that this ought to be called “women are wonderful WHEN” because they are certainly not offered special treatment if they have a power position (as in Hillary Clinton) or are unattractive. So no, I don’t really agree. I have not experienced this either.
/r/MensRights17/08/21 01:00 AM

Empathy. That’s interesting. Women are seen as in need of more protection, so it makes sense that we would have more empathy for them. That’s terrible and needs to change. Well the “attention” you’re talking about that young women get is dangerous and inherently threatening. Both of my teen daughters get it all the time and they hate it. Laws should not govern medical procedures, and abortion is no exception. Each medical situation is different. Your ridiculous driving analogy makes no sense. There are no laws on abortion in Canada. Honestly this has been done forever. https://gsdrc.org/document-library/gender-and-cultural-change-overview-report/ https://www.researchgate.net/publication/263749226_Perceptions_of_Organizational_Culture_and_Women's_Advancement_in_Organizations_A_Cross-Cultural_Examination But more to the point, is this something you really haven’t observed? Like do you honestly not understand the connection between being granted the right to vote and increased political power?
/r/MensRights16/08/21 04:36 PM
1

As I suggested, we know that women have obtained more wealth and power in tandem with cultural and political changes to how they are perceived and treated. So I posit that further changes will result in more equity.
/r/MensRights16/08/21 04:29 PM

So, if we know attitudes toward women are a definite reason why they have less money and power, then it stands to reason that we need feminism. Welcome to the club!
/r/MensRights16/08/21 04:22 PM

Yeah no I asked you to disprove my inequity point, you conceded. There’s no need to prove anything on my part. But if you have data to the contrary, by all means.

/r/MensRights16/08/21 04:05 PM

How do you explain women obtaining more money and power as attitudes towards them have changed?
/r/MensRights16/08/21 04:05 PM
1

Well, we know from research that there is not a big enough difference between men and women’s abilities or intellect to explain it, so what other explanation can there be? We’ve seen women obtain more wealth and power where attitudes toward women are more progressive, so what can explain that?
/r/MensRights16/08/21 04:02 PM
0

You are not good at this. Haven’t you ever argued with a feminist before?
/r/MensRights16/08/21 03:59 PM

How are those inconsistent? Sexism is believed to be the root of the inequality.
/r/MensRights16/08/21 03:57 PM
1

Since the woman has to carry the pregnancy and risk her life to give birth, clearly the decision should be hers and hers alone.
/r/MensRights16/08/21 03:55 PM
1

Yes, we are discussing feminist ideologies. The feminist ideology posits serious problems with the unequal distribution of wealth and power amongst the genders.
/r/MensRights16/08/21 03:53 PM
1

Ah so which is it? That men have the vast majority (still waiting on the data to dispute this) of wealth and power, or that they rightly deserve it?
/r/MensRights16/08/21 03:50 PM
1

The fact is that if you add up all the wealth and all the positions of power in say, North America, men would be the overwhelming majority of owners compared to women. This applies to all wealth and power, not just billionaires and CEO’s. That men have a vastly superior share of wealth and power (in both small and large terms) compared to women is an indisputable fact that cannot be denied. I welcome any numbers or data you can find that shows this disparity to be false.
/r/MensRights16/08/21 03:48 PM
3

Explain. This makes no sense.
/r/MensRights16/08/21 03:40 PM
1

Feminists want equity between men and women. They think there’s something wrong with the fact that men own the vast majority of the wealth and power. There is nothing inconsistent or wrong about that.
/r/MensRights16/08/21 03:40 PM
1

There is no draft in Canada. I don’t if there is one in the US. Women have been fighting for equality in all jobs for hundreds of years. There are no protests for individual niche jobs any more than there would be for any other issue. If all humans are basically selfish assholes, why single out feminists?
/r/MensRights16/08/21 03:34 PM

You are somehow implying that my feminism is inconsistent or disingenuous, while also failing to point out any examples of this. I suspect you think most feminists are inconsistent, but when I pointed out to you that I haven’t taken any free drinks, you had nothing else to say. I don’t see what argument you are winning here.
/r/MensRights16/08/21 03:25 PM

/r/MensRights16/08/21 03:22 PM

How are you defining feminist parenting? At my house and with my son, my kids are taught to respect all genders and to fight against those cultural forces that would define women as lesser than men. How is this harmful? Also you didn’t answer my other questions, mr. I will destroy your argument.
/r/MensRights16/08/21 03:19 PM
-5

I’m shaking in my boots. Do you need to be a lesbian to be a feminist, or can you love men? Are we allowed to have sons? Are we allowed to stay home with our children and work? Are we allowed to wear makeup? I imagine you must have lots of rules for feminists, and for women. But not so many for men right? LOL. Keep on incelling, buddy.
/r/MensRights16/08/21 03:11 PM

Um so if I’ve never accepted any free woman things, do I still get to be a feminist? LOL
/r/MensRights16/08/21 02:57 PM

No laws exist governing abortion in Canada, and that is as it should be. Up until viability, only the pregnant woman can decide whether the fetus will be carried to term and become a baby. No one else. Try not to get into any car accidents.

I’m a big fat feminist and I agree entirely with this
/r/MensRights16/08/21 02:13 PM

You cannot abort a pregnancy up to nine months. You can only go to 23 weeks. Late term abortions past 15 weeks or so are only don’t when the fetus isn’t viable or the life of the mother is threatened.
