Because if I heard someone at work doesn’t like me, I wouldn’t obsess over them or lament that they hate me. If I heard that someone at work liked someone else better than me, I’d shrug and not give it a second thought. All the women I work with don’t think this way. It makes them sad when a man doesn’t like them, even if they have no reason to care what that man thinks.
