I cannot take the time to read everything on this post but I feel it is important to point out that feminism posits that all people should be free to choose what is right for themselves regardless of their gender and regardless of societal norms. I happen to agree with this. However, there is a growing misandrist culture masquerading as feminism. That is what is causing rifts and such. And it is hard to fight against the misandry because people are hating on feminism because of the misandrist ca…

Such a hard situation for you. hug If it we're me (my mom's an alcoholic too but situation growing up totally different) I would see if she would be ok if you arranged for her to stay somewhere safe while you are away. I'm sure she would. And next time you see your Dad you need to confront him and tell him that it's not your responsibility to raise your sister and that he needs to step up and at least arrange her care elsewhere when he must be away. Stress how his assuming you will care for her …

Oh to be twenty-six again and have access to such experience you will find here! I will second nun mode, improving vetting skills, and learning about boundaries. Boundaries are super important because they lay the foundation for how someone treats you. When a man bumps up against your boundaries AND is interested in you he finds respect for you; if he's not interested he's likely to disappear. Boundaries are incredibly subjective and personal so nobody can teach you what they are. You just need …

You get to decide for yourself what you are going to be fine with and never forget that how you feel matters! That said, a similar situation with my bf ocurred not too long ago. I don't mind if he looks at or comments on pictures of a sexual nature because our relationship is ok with that both ways. However, one time he made a comment about not being able to resist some pretty girl and I was pissed. I talked to him about it and at first he didn't think it was a big deal as he felt like he was ju…

True. Understand that they are some kind of freak-of-nature, to be sure. I also offer that they are actually attracted to SOME of these types of men, however. I'd figure some 8+ women are repeatedly exposed to the alpha strategy early in life and get rather numb to it, so when exposed to strong submissive adoration/worship that is the thing that makes a guy stand out and be exciting. It's also the submissive guys strategy to get the girl which seems to effectively dissolve once that guy feels li…

What a super unfair thing to say, really. She probably cared for you a lot, maybe still does. But if she wanted to marry and start a family and you weren't up for it that's a valid reason to leave a relationship. It's called incompatibility.

Maybe the over-simplified reality is this: alphas get the girls, and betas keep them. So maybe you should consider a strategy where once your alpha posturing has got you a girl you want to keep you down shift to beta, at least from her perspective or in your interactions with her. It would highly depend on the girl in question, since some have fetishised the alpha male, but the same girls don't really wanna deal with that kind of person in day to day life.

Heehee... Same. But in my experience (where most of my friends are and have always been male) there is not always that compatibility and some don't have it so easy.

If you think that's level 1 you may not realise how deep the rabbit hole goes.

Next level: find out his secret sexual fantasies and explore them together. So that you can be both his love interest and satisfy his inner sexual desires. Most men have a sort of two sides to them: one they show to "wifey" and one to the side piece. So ideally you should seek to occupy both places in his psyche.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
