As a gay man, I really don't feel as accepted. Pride seems to be more about queer femininity than queerness in general these days to me. So I made some affirmations I thought I'd share. Hope it helps someone. As an aroace man, i have another explanation: Men really aren't given a lot of other lifestyle options outside of relationships. People REALLY don't like it when you're married to the job, and the possibility/expectation of romance tends to permeate most shared social spaces, thus making navigating social situations unneccessarily tedious and difficult. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 07/07/26 12:59 AM
Why men don't go to therapyI could be wrong, but aren't you supposed to stop going to therapy at some point? Once you gain the tools to help you deal and cope with stress or other sources of anxiety, what could therapy provide at that point? I could see an argument for maintaining mental health, like with regular medical checkups, but you'd only need that twice a year, I'd imagine. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 27/05/26 06:32 PM
What is happening to this sub?Misandry DOES hurt women. Teaching people to live in fear has all manner of horrible psychological effects. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 14/02/26 04:45 PM
bit off topic, but how do you guys deal with socializing?Fair. I misinterpreted your original comment. Thanks for clarifying! | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 09/12/25 12:21 PM
I'm so tired of Vaush's take on male lonelinessHe grew up in the poor part of Beverly Hills, I'll have you know | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 08/12/25 01:54 PM
bit off topic, but how do you guys deal with socializing?I'd caution against (sexual) minority groups being more tolerant because of smaller sample size, many can be quite insular. Speaking from experience. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 08/12/25 01:37 PM
| – | People who want to be in relationships, don't engage in these discussions/debates. tl;dr of my Debate point at the end.I don't have a dog in this fight (I'm aroace), but i find gender issues interesting to discuss. This subreddit doesn't provide the best for such things, but its better than nothing | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/09/25 05:24 PM |
Women do not fall for "manipulation" as much as they want to think they doNgl I thought this was gonna be about that stupid "Men become violent or aggressive only after staying with them for six months, there's nothing women can do!" Thing feminists say. As if that's not what red flags are. Needless to say, very disappointing post. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/09/25 05:18 PM
If you women can despise/hate men but still date & have sex with them, because "sexuality isn't a choice", why do you question men's heterosexuality when they despise/hate women?Seems like it could be a snarky dig, rather than actual advice. Making fun of self-described alphas and the like. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/09/25 05:13 PM
If you women can despise/hate men but still date & have sex with them, because "sexuality isn't a choice", why do you question men's heterosexuality when they despise/hate women?Plus, those women who find "the exception" never praise him or show concern for his well-being. And that's when they don't force him to drop his hobbies and friends. Tbf, lots of women who claim they don't hate men also tend to ignore them in relationships. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/09/25 05:10 PM
Do touchy feely women really think they are being platonic when they grope men, I find it kinda hard to believeThere are women who aren't touchy-feely? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/09/25 02:27 PM
Women are just as creepy as men they just get away with it.My step-dad outright told me that a woman cant rape a man. I didn't believe him, even back then, but its an anecdote in your favor. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/09/25 12:21 PM
Women are just as creepy as men they just get away with it.Back in the 2010s, female fans groping male cosplayers at cons was pretty much an open secret. This isnt nearly as common these days as it used to be fortunately. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/09/25 12:16 PM
Women are just as creepy as men they just get away with it.To be fair, men have way more potential to harm than women. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/09/25 12:13 PM
Women are just as creepy as men they just get away with it.I've been saying for years about fangirls. They are, for the most part, porn addicts with a sense of entitlement and poor boundaries. Many nerdy guys are similar, to be clear, but everybody calls them out on it. Note: liking something doesn't make you a 'fan'. Fans make their hobby their identity. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/09/25 11:40 AM
| – | There is definitely a male equivalent to the "I'm a independent woman, I don't need a man" attitude.Sweet and bubbly people are so boring though. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/08/25 02:59 AM |
In this day and age, women have to be strategically bitchy to their men in order to get the best resultsA lot of high value people form power couples. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/07/25 01:45 AM
