I like Meditations, but Plato’s Republic did more for me. Thinking about the meaning of what is just and the dialogue on what makes a good society is very useful and applicable to being a man.

Well, virgin women only have a 5% divorce rate. Meeting women in other countries has shown me just how obsessed US culture is with marriage too. It’s atypical compared to many developed countries. For French women, they literally don’t care about marriage and many wouldn’t get married. Lots of people there just live together and start a family.

An example of an introvert is Paul Newman's character in Cool Hand Luke, and Clint Eastwood in many movies. If you don't like to talk much, it needs to be from a place of strength. Women need to see that you choose not to engage in banal social interaction because you don't care to, not because you lack social skills.

The will isn’t just influenced though and it isn’t being decided really. Every thought, notion, action, emotion - everything has been predetermined by causality since the Big Bang.

No, mastering psychology only goes so far. Some women you can master their psychology to keep them happy. Others have too much baggage that has altered their mental state, or a hedonistic mentality that doesnt operate with good predictability based on your actions. They all respond relatively similar to strong SMV in the beginning, but mentally many women just dont have the tenacity to tolerate the monotony/boredom of long-term commitment.

You don’t need to have sex before you’re in a relationship, like one poster said. Or you could have a genuine discussion about it with someone your seeing before the act. That’s good you arent sleeping with them before clarity of their commitment. However, I think this may come down to where you’re setting your standards. Does your physical attractiveness align with the SMV of the type of man you’re seeking commitment from? If it does, then I would recommend ensuring you minimize masculine perso…

The girl was 18. There's a range of factors of why she could have been hesitant to meet a guy off tinder in general. While most probably wouldn't ask 9 times, persistence is important

You're wrong that this applies equally to both genders. Women are wired different to be psychologically attracted to males based on the traits which directly correlate with productivity and providing (social prowess, leadership, ect.). The lack of these criteria is assumed in men who display weak/needy behavior, and has become slowly engrained as a relevant reproductive quality in the female psyche since the early homo sapien. Productivity and provider qualities are irrelevant to men when seekin…

Cannot relate from a metropolitan area to appeal of 'dude bro' culture. In NYC, any frat type is mocked by cultured/tasteful girls.

Read a story recently that somebody had a meeting with Jobs in the 90's as a potential vendor for Apple. Mid conversation at the table, Jobs saw the man's wife light a cigarette in the restaurant - took it from her mouth and put it out in her drink. Continued pleasant small talk at the table. Jobs lived for himself. He'd dismiss you as a fool without a second of thought.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
