I didn’t even read the 2nd half of this because the beginning was so fucking stupid but, I know you’re in high school because you posted 9 days ago complaining about the workload teachers give. You also post frequently in r/teenagers. My ‘assumption’ of you is based off your own profile big guy. Again, you’re not as clever as you think. But keep trying! BiG bRaIN

Again, this happens in female-predominate jobs as well such as teaching and dental hygienists. To answer your question even more directly, if google employees WERE 68% female and google had 1 department hire only males, I don’t think it would be sexist. They would just be giving opportunities to a to a different demographic that didn’t think or realize they had it before and they’re is nothing sexist about that. The women in this scenario also clearly have the same opportunities as the company i…

Once again. Common sense would tell you men have gotten internships and jobs at google. A lot of them. Acknowledging that and having to repeatedly say the same thing to brick wall of a human is not ‘putting her on a pedestal’. But, amigo, keep trying. Took a step backwards this time but I’m sure you’ll figure it out.

No, just this one specific internship. Do you know how many people and divisions Google has? 1 internship program from a massive company like google putting a focus on women isn’t sexist or stopping men from the exact same opportunities within the company

Well I would assume these aren’t the only internships available at google. So the opportunity is still there for whomever wants to work there. Having a focus on one small part of the entire hiring process isn’t sexist they are just trying to give more opportunities to different groups of people. And when/if no women fill these positions like you suggested, that same opportunity will be given to a man. This also happens for traditionally female-filled jobs like teachers, dental hygienists, and ch…

Not a single male at google India got their job through an internship? That’s pretty wild.

How did all the men that currently work there get the job?

You need more confidence my man that’s all it is. Just keep you head up and don’t be afraid to do what you truly want. At the end of the day the #1 person you have to make happy is yourself so focus on that and not what the internet tell you society thinks of men v women.

As a straight white man I can say it’s not that bad. Kinda the punchline on the internet sometimes but irl, things could definitely be worse.

So you agree with what this person is saying then? If you believe that for yourself, it’s only fair to believe it for others as well. Everyone has things that stress them out in certain situations. For this person in this specific situation, it’s men when she’s running at night. I don’t believe that is a personal attack to any one man, nor the male sex

...for a day. She said if there were no men for a day she would run at night. It’s not a personal attack on you or men really this person just wants the opportunity to feel safe running whenever they want

I believe she is saying the same thing. Don’t know why she wants to run at night but she does and wants to feel safe. I don’t think it’s a personal attack to you, me, and other dude. Just a true statement. Hell if I ever got the urge to run [in general] at night I wouldn’t want any one else out there either

No disrespect but it sounds like you’re just fixating on this subject and take note any time someone says something remotely close to this topic. It’s like when shopping for a used car. You don’t notice how many cars parked on the street have For Sale signs until you’re in the market to buy one yourself. Here, it sounds like you’re upset about the overall injustice of men when it comes to sexual assault and notice every time (or close to it) someone around you says anything remotely related to t…

Interesting, so you felt that others thought you would sexually assault them at any moment while in school. Did anyone explicitly tell you they had this fear or is it just a feeling?

Where beside the internet do you go that people are genuinely afraid of you/ other men?
/r/MensRights31/07/20 09:13 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
