If a topic is popular on Reddit, it's most likely nobody in the real world gives a shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/25 02:04 AM

Fair enough, I can respect that.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/25 01:44 AM

I tend to have the opinion of "if it's a popular opinion on Reddit, it's either unpopular or just not known in the real world" This tends to be true.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/25 01:43 AM

Well the only way to find out if they're going to enact it is if they get voted in, you won't know otherwise, any party can say things, it's on them to enact it if you vote for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/25 01:43 AM

Caring about politics outside of the election season is silly, you don't need to keep up with every little thing that happens, just read the party policies before you go and vote, and you're good. If you've already cast your vote there's nothing to do for the next four years, you've already done what you can. More people would be happier if they paid less attention to politics.

I'm sorry I may be completely out of the loop but when the fuck did Elon Musk get involved in politics? I haven't heard his name in a hot minute.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/25 02:20 PM

Remember if it's being talked about on Reddit it's probably not being talked about in the real world. Social media doesn't represent every day life or people.

You're missing the point, if you choose to do nothing to improve the cards you've been dealt, it absolutely is your fault if you're failing in dating. So what if you're bald and fat? Get in the gym and lose some weight, choosing to do nothing and continuing to just "be yourself" is absolutely your fault.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 11:59 AM

Sorry mate, they are your fault.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 11:55 AM

From what I saw from Harris' actual campaign she herself avoided bringing up the gender wars entirely, she simply said "I don't care who votes for me. As long as you vote for me." Some of her fans on the other hand? Yeah they definitely pushed it a little bit, although I think being fans of politicians is one of the saddest things you can be. But the difference is, it's not nearly significant enough to be a genuine problem in the mainstream media, if things are staying in the zeitgeist for a few…

Yes it is your fault if you choose to be a pussy instead of trying to improve your situation, that's part of life not being fair.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 11:52 AM

Porn is disgusting, the industry itself is garbage too with how many people get trafficked. Porn addiction is a serious issue, I'd argue if you're watching it even weekly it's not good.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 11:51 AM
2

Agree to disagree there.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 11:51 AM

I mean it stays in the mainstream for about a few days to a week, people realise how dumb the discussion is and they move on with their lives.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 11:50 AM
2

I mean the gender wars itself in the first place is chronically online, people in the real world aren't worried about this stuff, they have actual problems. And yes, the dudes on here suck, the women on here also suck. Believing one gender is worse/better than the other is as online as it gets nowadays.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 11:49 AM

The gender wars is one of the most chronically online things I've ever seen. People in the real world aren't worried about this silly stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 11:47 AM
1

I mean you know I'm right, the men and women here are objectively as bad as each other, believing otherwise is chronically online
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 11:45 AM
2

The women on this sub absolutely do not just stay content and single, that's another chronically online take. The women here whine constantly.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 11:43 AM
5

Everyone is lonely nowadays, if you get your news from Reddit then sure you'll believe it's just men, but everyone is lonely nowadays. That's a very chronically online take.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 11:41 AM
6

They absolutely are, the women on here I've seen are just as vile as the men.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 11:38 AM

What an extreme overreaction. Don't be such a pussy.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 11:38 AM

Men and women on this sub* Both genders are as bad as each other.

I never said they had to become millionaires, just make SOME level of positive change in their lives, nobody in the western world is oppressed, nobody, there's never been more opportunity to make your life good, whether that's becoming an absolute beast in the gym, whether that's financial gain, whatever you choose to do, you can improve your current situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 11:27 AM

Dating apps aren't the be all and end all of dating though, it makes up a minority of the dating market, most people aren't on the apps, there's plenty of ways to meet people, if they're not exercising all the options, then yes, it is their fault.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 11:26 AM

Tough fucking shit, life isn't fair, stop worrying about the things you can't control and worry about the things you can, if plenty of bald men and fat women can have partners, there's zero excuses.

Looks matter, plain and simple, there's no opposing view to have. You're not going to have a long lasting and successful marriage if there's no physical and sexual attraction.

Dating isn't supposed to be fair, that's the point, it's not easy, and neither should it.

I don't identify with any of the pills because I think they're incredibly stupid, incels and red pill are very much different, the Red Pill of old seemed to actually focus on making a change but the current Red Pill seems to just be around whining and complaining, all talk and no action.

Just remember the problems you have in your dating life are your fault, if people aren't responding to the character you're bringing out into the world, if people aren't responding to your appearance, that's not a problem with anyone else, except yourself. You're in control of your appearance and character, if people don't like it? Tough luck, that's your fault.

I mean, as long as they're not addicted to video games and play them in moderation to relax and unwind, what's the harm?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 09:21 AM

I think that just applies to everyone honestly, regardless of where you're from or what is between your legs, the large majority of people see others as a means to better their lives or help improve their situations, once they've outlived their usefulness then they get cast aside. It's a global problem, the majority of people aren't good people.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 09:21 AM

I think the problem with men nowadays is that most of them feel useless, it's biologically inclined for men to be goal focused and worry about constantly completing tasks. Women want to feel included, men want to feel useful, and a lot of men aren't goal oriented, and it's a lot harder for men to be useful now compared to days past.

Bought my girlfriend tickets for us to go and see Wicked in stage next week for part of her Christmas present, went and saw the movie with her last month and I honestly enjoyed it a lot, thought I'd return the favour and treat her to the actual stage production of it.

Maybe he didn't, but even so, I still think that's pretty stupid, you're giving up likely 20+ years to even life of your time on Earth to be a martyr. Like I said, the guy had the guts to do what many may have wanted to do, but he's still gotta pay for what he did.

I love how Reddit has such black and white thinking in regards to the CEO killing, when it's quite possible to see things from both perspectives. I can sympathize with the cause, and I won't be sad to see a greedy billionaire who was the likely cause of the suffering of millions no longer be with us. However, I can also have the view of, if you're stupid enough to get caught then you fully deserve to go to prison of your crimes regardless of whether or not the guy deserved it, Luigi was dumb eno…

You can have deep connections with someone you don't have much or anything in common with, it's not that hard 🤷
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/24 04:43 AM

Maybe so, but I think it's fine to date people regardless of age gaps as long as both parties are happy with it and consent. I don't feel there's any legitimate reason for them to be judged, hence why I back their choice.

Why though? It makes zero difference.

A lot of you don't have much experience in dating and it shows in how you speak about it. I take it the women here don't have a lot of experience with men, and the men don't have a lot of experience with women. Both of y'all have some garbage takes.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/24 04:35 AM

I think it's hilarious that people online will preach sex positivity and tell men that it's okay to be virgins, yet when those men then say something they don't like they go to "You're a virgin" or "Yeah well you'll never get laid anyway" Have some consistency.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/24 12:36 AM
7

I'm already sick of hearing about this Luigi guy, just lock him up or let him go already, I don't care which one it is, I just wanna stop seeing it everywhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/24 12:34 AM

Sure, I however think the only time to actually comment on bodily changes is when it's negative effecting their health. If it's not? And they're just doing something that makes them happy? Tough shit, suck it up or pack your bags.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 04:56 PM

Completely different scenarios Gaining weight and abusing drugs actually have an effect on your health Shaving your head has zero effect on your health.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 04:54 PM

Oh well, as far as I'm concerned, tough shit if they don't like it 🤷 they can either stay and get used to it, or they can leave. I'm not bothered either way, if I want to do something in regards to my body, whether it's a tattoo, shaving my head etc. I'll do it regardless of whether others like it or not. The only time I'd be fine with it is if I was putting on weight, because that's something that actually effects your physical health, tattoos and shaving your head don't effect your health.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 04:53 PM

Exactly, I prefer having hair to style, however if I shaved my head my dating prospects if I was single would not change or decrease, they'd stay the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 04:40 PM

I mean I've done it before just to test girl's reactions I've dated, they were shocked, but it didn't change how they felt about me or how attracted they were, as I still continued seeing them for a while afterwards.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 04:39 PM

Eh, I think that's incredibly childish honestly, and I actually put that theory to the test back when I was casually dating, when I was talking to multiple women I thought it'd be fun to just randomly shave my head to see their reactions, not one of them stopped talking to me or seeing me. May very well be the exception to the rule with me, but I maintain that if a person likes you enough, they won't give a shit, nor would you want to waste time on someone so childish.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 04:37 PM

It's not about whether they're unnecessary, it's about whether you feel like doing it or not. If you feel like changing your appearance, your partner's opinion doesn't matter. Besides if they're less attracted to you over something as meaningless as hair then they aren't good partners in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 04:32 PM

I mean if it's something worth discussing then sure, but something as meaningless as hair doesn't need to be discussed beforehand.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 04:31 PM

What is it with girlfriends and wives getting mad at their partners for either shaving their beards or hair off? Like the fuck? If I wanna shave my head bald for a laugh that's not your business ,you have no reason to be angry about it. That'd be like me getting angry at my girlfriend for getting a haircut I don't like, you don't say you don't like it, you just say "looks nice" and move on.

/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 12:05 AM

I've always found the online trope of men who criticise women's bodies being virgins or guys that haven't gotten laid to be really funny. A lot of the guys I know who do well with chicks say some of the most awful shit about women's bodies when we're drinking. One of them recently got with a chick on a night out, he told us his thought process was "She looks like a right fucking dog but she'll do" Dudes who get laid are actually more likely to shit talk women's bodies in my experience, anyone wh…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/24 06:59 AM

That feels like the case with a lot of the women that do it, I'm thankful that the majority of women aren't total cunts when it comes to discussing men's issues, the vocal minority of them online are vile though.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/24 02:02 AM

Why is it that when men bring up and want to discuss their issues that women always try and make it about them? It's always "Yeah well women have it worse!" Okay? Nobody disagrees that women have issues, but we're not talking about women's issues here. We're talking about men's issues.

I regret learning about Lily Phillips, there has to be some seriously poignant mental health problems in her head, no mentally okay and sane person is sleeping with 100 people in a day, let alone trying to sleep with 1000 men in a day. I'd argue at this point you can say it's an objective fact that she's mentally ill.

I don't know why so many people still refuse to believe that bad people with charisma don't succeed, I thought the clown show in America would have put that to bed, or the fact that Andrew Tate has had over 800k people subscribe to his online money making courses. That doesn't excuse them being bad people, but their silver tongues allow them to get away with those things to a lot of people.

Good Lord, r/GenZ are showing they don't know much about dating. "Your shitty personality is why you don't get dates" It might be, chances are more likely they're just butt ugly. "Women can sense and smell a bad attitude a mile away" Yeah, that's why so many of them pick shitty partners, I know some people might say "But these men don't act shitty at the start!!" Yeah but if it's women's intuition to sense it then surely you can tell he's lying? I'm starting to think women are lying about being …

Nice guys don't get pussy because they don't add anything outside of being nice, it has nothing to do with them being assholes, it's because they're all bread no butter outside of the basic common decency of being nice, the niceness is the fundamental core of their personality, well, feigned niceness, they have nothing else to offer. That's why they don't succeed.

People are way too open with their sexuality online nowadays, it's disgusting honestly. What happened to shame, now you have people online openly thirsting, keep it between you and your partner I say. If I saw my girlfriend openly thirsting over things online she wouldn't be my girlfriend anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/24 06:06 AM

At the end of the day, people want to present themselves in a light that makes them seem like they live an exciting and eventful life, and the sad thing is it works, when women take thousands of pictures they carefully pick the best ones, from the outside looking in, they live their best lives, but there's a lot of work and curation that goes into it. It's not just women in my experience though, plenty of men do the same, it's a social media addiction thing more than a gendered thing in my opini…

To be fair I don't think the Republican party actually gives a damn about men's issues, they just saw how badly the Democrats were failing to appeal to men and capitalised on it. I don't think social/identity politics played all that much of a part, nor do I think any of that stuff is important.

That's the other problem, they play it way too safe and they're way too risk averse, they don't take risks that may pay off big time to grab the votes they need, hell, White Dudes for Harris was one of the most pathetic campaigns I've ever seen, that sort of campaign is never going to get a large contingent of men on your side.

The problem with the US Democrats is that they're bland as all hell, a big part of politics nowadays as sad as it is to say, is that you need to have flavour to your party and campaign, as deplorable and awful as Trump is, he has flavour and charisma, he goes out there and he does something different to usual politicians, the Democratic Party is all bread no butter, it's by the books and cookie cutter, there's no character to them. Much appreciated, she's my first long term relationship in 3 years, spent the last few years dating around, but never found that person I felt I could take the next step with. I'm taking a massive gamble here, I'm hoping I've made the right call.

It's all obviously a publicity stunt to build up her brand and her OnlyFans, but I still think it's sad that this woman feels the need to go to these lengths just for 15 seconds of fame, sounds like a lot of mental health issues and insecurity to me.

No you shouldn't lie about your job, what are you talking about? If a woman is getting the ick over what you do for a living then she's not worth considering in the first place. If you need to lie about yourself then you're already starting off on the wrong foot. Just be up front, the women who don't like who you are will filter themselves out, the women who do like you will stay.

Been dating my girlfriend for a couple of weeks now, things seem to be going well, I'm pretty happy, she's got the majority of the qualities I would want in a girl. Hoping the good times continue rolling on.
