The guy that said I blew my chances to prove I'm legitimate so I can earn the right to post on a public reddit sub calls me a blowhard.... That's funny! The fact that you actually think this sub, and anyone who posts here, are so important that someone needs to prove themselves worthy before interacting is the very definition of a blowhard. I said i agree with and respect some of what I read here, but for fucks sake get over yourself. It's a fucking reddit sub. If you need this sub to stay pure …

It actually has everything to do with your man card. The thinking which you suggest that is behind this policy is beta thinking. Oh no, someone is trolling, why do I have to deal with this... That's weak. Are you intimated by some asshole opposing your opinions on the Internet and need to limit their voice? Fucking deal with them. If this sub is so concerned about someone proving they aren't trolls before they can post, then go the private, by invite only route.

Yeah, because trying to impress people on the Internet is my intent. (Do you think it is actually possible to impress others on the Internet? That's kinda sad if you do.). Perhaps this should be a private, by invite only sub if you need to determine if I'm legitimately interested before I can have the privilege of posting here. Blew my chance at what exactly? Not sure how my posts display the wisdom of this policy. But some of the responses I see certainly display why the policy is approved of b…

Yeah, good thinking. No one with those intentions would ever invest the time required into making positive posts with that account, until they are allowed the privlege to post and then follow through with their original intent.

I don't have a problem with the policy in it self, what I have a problem with is the rational for the policy that BluepillProfessor presented. Say I can't post for a year, that's fine. Say I can't do something because you are worried about how you are going to deal with trolls or opposing opinions and I say that's a problem. This sub says it is for discussion of sexual strategy in a culture lacking a positive identity for men. I say the kind of thinking BluepillProfessor suggested is one of the …

My intent wasn't to troll. I've been on Reddit only a few weeks and during that short time, I've agreed with and respect much of what I've seen on this sub. But this policy and any fear of new accounts enabling trolls, or those who disagree with the opinions held here to be an insurmountable problem, is IMO a gutless response. I had an exchange in TwoXChromosomes in my first few days on reddit where it was obvious that my opinion (and sense of humor) was not appreciated at all. That's fine, but …

Are you seriously? Even TwoXChromosomes allows new accounts to post. I thought this sub was supposed to be full of a bunch of alpha males! You sir, need to turn in your man card on the way out the door! Pitiful!

IMO you've already overcome the hardest part which is the initial approach. You said you had 5 casual conversations in the past 2 days, a lot of guys can't do that. Next time you are having a casual conversation, find a common interest, or something one of you express an interest in, and turn it into a reason to get together at a later time. It doesn't matter how trivial the subject or lame the idea sounds, if she is interested she will accept. "Oh, you like music? I like music too. We should ge…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
