You're talking as if you're certain she steals jokes. Is that right? I'm not really informed about this.

"They" refers to the "swathes of feminists" referenced in your original comment. I said that because I've met an appreciable number of feminists who are, shall we say, actively disinterested in male circumcision. I didn't imply that all or even most of them are. After all, I'm a feminist too. And no, I don't like that poster either. It's combative and retaliatory. You don't need to convince me that it's dumb. I'm not going to defend something that tries to help men by hurting women. I agree that…

it's not like there are swathes of feminists out there campaigning in favour of male circumcision, as far as I'm aware They're not campaigning for it, but they dismiss concerns about it. They definitely take a zero-sum approach to discussion about the topic, in that they view men trying to bring attention to male circumcision as men trying to draw attention away from female circumcision.

Plus that whole scandal about assignments being graded more harshly by female teachers if the name on the paper is male than if it's female or if the name is left off. Link?

So did you gather that from him constantly referring to himself in the third person, his felony charges involving spitting at a cop and resisting arrest, or the incident in which he barricaded himself inside his home to avoid being detained for an outstanding warrant?

Her false allegations kept him from working since 2014? She should pay his lost wages.

I'm not being PC. I'm just trying to advocate against sounding like an asshole. Consider: Wow, you're really professional -- unlike most painters I've worked with. Wow, you're really down-to-earth -- unlike most professors I've studied with. Wow, you're really considerate -- unlike most men I've met. You're insulting a group that they belong to. Why is it so hard to believe that this isn't exactly going to endear you to them? Talking like this just makes you sound like an unpleasant jerk. No one…

If you are dealing with a woman, always end the conversation if possible by pointing out how unique she is to other women around you. I.E. "You know, most women I've met, and I've traveled all over, would not make that observation, I'm actually impressed here" Cannot disagree with this strongly enough. This is condescending and unnecessarily negative, which isn't attractive. You need to be able to praise someone without dragging other people down. There's also a sexist undertone: "Wow, you're re…

I mean... They are professionals. At Harvard. And they backed it up with data. And had their conclusions peer-reviewed. So frankly there's not much choice in the matter lol, people just have to listen to them.

I urge all men in situations like this to turn on a voice recording app on their phone and record it.

And even though I feel bad for the dude in this scenario, I’ve always said that the best way to avoid “baby-mama drama” is not giving a woman you don’t see a future with access to your sperm. Victim-blaming through and through

Another aspect of this is that men are typically in higher-paying jobs, so having only a mother instead of only a father will have a negative financial impact on top of the negative social impact.
