And the response to that would be activists around the world protesting that. The argument would be that they can't miss out on the younger years of their children and how it could stunt their emotional growth.

I tried to explain to a single, divorced mom why I didn't want to have kids, and I mentioned how difficult it would be on the kids and I if I was in a situation like this, from a financial, psychological stand point and even mentioned statistics. Today, there are very few families that stay together for their kids, and losing my house, and paying child support, while also not being able to see my kids is not worth it... She told me that was a bad reason to not have kids.
