Sure. An overweight 5’ unemployed ugly dude can sit there jerking off over how he deserves a supermodel. Him lowering his standards isnt reasonable its “desperate”. Makes sense.

While some degree of social unrest is inevitable where resources (pussies) are distributed unevenly, people overstate how bad the reaction will be. We already have massive wealth inequality, and no one does anything. The media says “hey look over there, racism!” Vidya and social media sparkle and distract the eyes of the masses, and the elite get to keep on trucking. So it shall be for the Chadly elite, they’ll just keep on fucking. The real question though is whether the west itself is sustaina…

How many women will actually admit, out loud, that they want to submit to a superior male? 1 in 1000? 1 in 10000? OP can do it online but I can almost guarantee she, like other women, will only admit it in a safe place online. Maybe in Iran or Saudi Arabia or someplace, its common. In the west, not so much. So we can all sit here talking about men needing to lead women and such but the decline of masculinity isnt going to stop anytime soon. Almost all of society is set up to try to push gender e…

No. Ultimately experience is the best teacher. Interact with many people, have a few real relationships and it becomes apparent which people online are just deranged, talking out of their asses or mired in undiagnosed mental issues that hopelessly skew their thinking - but make them very dedicated, persistent debaters. Once you've encountered a walking RP stereotype in real life or a real life Stacy or feminista you can instantly perceive their faults and vulnerabilities. This is compared to onl…

RPW is based on the assumption that men (at least your chosen man) are angels, FDS the assumption that they are devils. Men are neither, but if you have to pick one of the two flawed approaches, it's better to assume people are devils. It only takes one devil to fuck it all up permanently.

I'm saying that if you walk into a car shop and the salesman gives you his pitch, and you call bullshit, he'll say "you know what, you're right, it is bullshit. I can see you're a smart guy. Here's the REAL deal that I save for guys like you" and the game just keeps getting played. Whatever, I'm probably exaggerating and you have an ability to be normal when you feel like doing so. I just can't trust that you actually ARE doing that at any given time, because you've already demonstrated an unhea…

I mean, this paper is itself an example of developing a theory about human behavior. Theory of mind is itself, a theory. If this post meant to show that men are doing something ineffectual, it is inherently self defeating. If theorizing about the behavior of others is effective, then your evidence is solid but your thesis is false. If it's ineffective then your evidence sucks and your thesis is therefore unsupported.

situation-ships Lmao. If nothing else thanks for giving me a new word to detest. Anyway, FwBs are far more damaging than porn. Porn is not real. You're using a stream of 1s and 0s to get off. With an FwB you use a real person to get off. Literally use, for that sole purpose, with the eventual intend to discard them and move on to a "real" relationship. Of course many of you degenerates will see no issue with either, but that's why you're degenerates.

It does not surprise me, because as usual the greatest sales move is to agree with your detractors and sell them product B which is geared towards detractors of product A. Just like when you play against the house, capitalism always wins. I already can't trust anything you say, because you've shown yourself to be a devotee of messaging more dedicated than the average Christian is to Christ, but at least I can say I'd appreciate your statement if there was anything behind it.

I think anyone who buys into the system to the extent that your post does has mutilated their psyche in a way that no amount of sexual reward can possibly justify. Social media is not healthy. Instagram is not healthy. OLD is not healthy. I get that it's a means to an end but I do question how much is too much. I dunno, I just felt an intense dislike for everything you just wrote. The constant optimism, spin and careful wording, the packaging, the presentation and disclaimers as though this were…

Bitching and moaning about someone else’s high standards is one thing, pointing out societal trends and analyzing them is another. If someone wants to make the point that women generally have inflated standards thats fair game for a subreddit about analyzing gender dynamics. We are here to debate and understand. Not avoid stepping on some persons overly sensitive toes for fear of limiting their personal sense of freedom, or whatever. If certain posts bother you, you can always not read them.

Superiority bias. People tend to overestimate themselves. You, rating yourself as a 9 or 10 are probably a 7 or 8. Since you don’t succumb to the same bias regarding potential mates, already your idea of a “reasonable match” is skewed. Now throw in the fact people tend to be unable to predict what will make them happy (think how many divorces, midlife crises and switching of majors/careers occurs) and the problem with the “standards” based approach to dating becomes apparent. There are many men …

I think its more like the threat of not having the contract inspires unnaturally good behavior. The union worker with the guaranteed gig is “being himself” much more than the contract gig guy who wants to land a full time position and could be fired at any moment Firms love the gig economy for this reason. If you want to be as ruthless and profit focused as the average corporation then having a rotating harem makes sense.

I think its a calculated risk that is different for every individual, but basically boils down to “how much do I want to have a stable loving family.” Willing enough to invest your freedom, mental health, peace of mind, free time and sexual options on the chance it will all work out? This is me speaking as a happily married dude. Think carefully but don’t be cowardly, either. Family is the most important and fulfilling thing (fuck what embittered childfree cunt redditors say). But you are foolis…

Everything prior to marriage, or long term cohabitation is the honeymoon phase. Limerance (and the subconscious threat of instability/breaking up) makes people behave differently, feel better about their partner, overlook things, present their best self etc. All that goes out the window after marriage and the person’s core default personality takes over.

Cultures are a fine subject for analysis, they arent “everything” but they explain most of the gender wars phenomena bandied about here at a more integrated, holistic level than “other side bad.”

Of course. Just like how the super wealthy don’t bother to call themselves “upper class”. Those at the top of a heirarchy have the luxury of not caring about it, those at the bottom are super attuned to what rank everyone else is, because that information shapes their lives and fortunes.

That gets into a larger argument about sheer quantity of orgasms vs overall quality of sex though... which is hard to have on reddit. Most women here are so orgasmically impoverished they just assume “more orgasms = good sex right???” And neglect all the other factors like connection, intimacy, spontaneity, novelty etc. Most people here wouldn’t understand

Trp is childish, but at least has occasional flashes of insight mixed in with the self gratifying sexism. Usually whenever they turn their critical eye towards society/modernity, which is a fine place for it to be. Male and female behaviors and lifestyles are part of a much larger organism, culture. When you start getting into “men this” or “women that” the room’s collective IQ takes a nosedive.

Men with lots of options tend to be lazy/selfish in bed. Why? Because they can afford to be. No need for repeat business when fresh conquests are a swipe away. This, incidentally is why male redditors talk so much about giving head or even eating ass. Virtue signaling and presenting themselves as the sexually generous, albeit unattractive alternative to Chad, in hopes of picking up his sloppy seconds. In any case, people lately are too neurotic, anxious, distracted, sedentary, disconnected from …

Read don juan. Better minds have discussed this issue. The conclusion is basically that Chad winds up in hell but faces the devil as an equal, with a certain unapologetic sneering dignity... and perhaps that’s all any of us can aspire to at the end of the whole sordid affair.

Did you? I doubt it. I suspect you have spent so much time in the gender war trenches that “men suck” has crowded out all the original ideas you might have once held. Doesn’t lead to very multifaceted discussions, but hey, at least its cathartic.

He is right, you are wrong, and this is the crux of the whole argument imo. It IS better to be alone than to be held in contempt by a woman who feels you don’t deserve her. If that means all men of self respect collectively GTOW then so be it. Men in olden times became religious ascetics, philosophers, homoerotic warriors and pedarasts rather than associate with overly troublesome women. Death before dishonor, celibacy before simpdom. The male simp is an accursed being, the lowest of the low. Th…

A fish born into a fishtank doesnt know it misses the ocean. We’re crossing a threshold into a historical era where no one remembers what it was like to form a relationship without the aid of a technological interface. They dont complain about lack of connection because they’re accustomed to it, but they still know something is wrong.

Art mimics life. Women make jokes being passive moody judgemental vaginas because they essentially are. Men make jokes about being dick driven idiots because they essentially are. The fact that Schumers humor is crude is no mark against it, it conveys an impolitic/embarrassing truth and thats why people laugh. The instinct that causes laughing lights up the same part of the brain that processes shame/social stigma. In a world where society pretends feminist assertive women and their kinky submis…

People are just bonding and connecting to others less in general. Why meet people when you can collect validation online? Why have an interesting discussion with your neighbor when you can virtue signal or edgelord on reddit, safe under the cloak of anonymity? The fact that sex is declining is an afterthought. Sex without connection is meaningless anyway so even those who are out there slaying on Tinder are still negatively impacted, to an extent. Humans are becoming less socialized in general, …

Its not either-or. Men ARE disgusting and predatory and so are women. They are also capable of gentility and sophistication, but those arent emphasized by our culture and dont convey well over an app where you legit swipe someone out of existence based on a 1sec snap judgement automatically performed by the visual processing center of your brain. The incentive structure for making people behave in a classy or traditional fashion no longer exists. In an attention economy of course assholes, users…

A lot of my wife’s friends met their SOs through online dating. However their relationships seem to be trash usually because one side has untreated mental issues. Nothing extreme but just like narcissistic streaks or being mean/selfish... stuff that does not get conveyed through an app or a purely material analysis of your partner. Its just part of the larger fraying of the social fabric thats happening because of technology being substituted for artful, skilled socializing. Imagine someone talk…

You cannot change your core identity. However you can learn better coping skills or how to blend in more which is honestly all that matters. People only care about the real you insofar as it effects them. No effect on them = free to be what you want

I like dating cold women. They have feelings they just save them for important people (me). Compare this to the bubbly socialite primadonna who constantly needs her attention fix.

Evolutionary benefit. Men benefit from accruing allies and male relatives who are strong and battle tested. Women do as well but also benefit from having weaklings around to exploit so ultimately they give less of a shit.

It doesnt matter to be honest. Relationships are about growth. They can start in the dumbest way and still be good if both people have good interpersonal skills and the ability to set aside their ego. If they lack that then the relationship tanks regardless of how it started.
