Agreed I’ve noticed too I think the difference is that boys today are more aware of the ways they are disadvantaged as males compared to boys 10, 20, 30+ years ago because of this type of content becoming more mainstream on social media. Which there’s nothing wrong with a kid educating himself with that, but for many the knee jerk response is to call them radicalized, they’re spewing incel speech, or blaming people like Tate who isn’t even that relevant anymore.

A large part of that is because there’s a lot more positive messaging towards being unmarried without kids at a certain age for women than men. Both genders will catch shit for it no doubt especially getting into middle age, but “don’t need a man” culture is a lot stronger than “don’t need a wife”. Not having a partner is seen as something to be fixed as a man, basically you’re not whole until you have a partner. This is an outdated pov, this is what we mean when we say things have not moved for…

At this point I see way more people bringing up the male loneliness epidemic to mock it than I see actual incels themselves bringing it up. Not to mention it’s projection, feminists are doing the exact same thing they claim mra’s do, bring up their sex’s issues when the other sex is talking about theirs. They claim they’re single, happy, and have decentered men but when the topic is incels and other lonely men, it’s “women are just as lonely too but we suffer in silence, not make it everyone’s p…

This might be it because according to intersectionality autistic men are only oppressed for being autistic, autistic women are double oppressed for being female and autistic at the same time.

I’ve seen some of what you’re talking about, I can’t believe the gender wars have reached even the autistic community. I don’t post on any of the main subs either because of the toxic positivity. People keep trying to make it another lgbtq+ giving it a flag, a month, symbols, slang, etc. I’m not gonna wear autism symbol pins on my backpack or tattoo it onto me. It’s a fucking disorder not an identity not a culture. And some of the same self diagnosed misandrists(not all) are the same ones who ar…

I said that because occasionally gay men will join in with women when bashing males. Source: Gay friends in college

I know the dynamics historically between men and women vs white people and black people are not the same, but damn if this type of rhetoric doesn’t come off like a gender based Uncle Tom. Every time I see men putting the whole gender down for women’s and occasionally gay approval it just looks like shucking and jiving for butter biscuits and pats on the head.

Reminds me of a post I saw years back where the male op and his girlfriend were late teens early 20’s and she either miscarried or was having an abortion and he got rubbed the wrong way when the nurse said to his girlfriend “he’s had his fun” implying that only the women deal with the fallout.

The male role in reproduction always gets downplayed alot often simplified to some thrusts and an orgasm. I would not be surprised if there’s people out there who honestly believe an unexpected child doesn’t turn a man’s life upside down as it would a woman even if he’s not the one carrying it.

This is why I’ve always said whenever a feminist claims women get killed for being women but men never get killed for being men show them stories like this.

Because your grandfather/great grandfathers gender role also sucked as much as their wives did we just don’t talk about it as much. It makes it look as though all men were privileged and your grandma was your grandpas cooking sex slave who would be forced to get a lobotomy at any moment she went against her husband. That’s why we bring up the apex fallacy, they tend to judge men in olden times by looking at the king, head of state, etc. Most of our female ancestors did not receive adequate schoo…

And even that would be a reach considering Rodger never one called himself an incel in his manifesto nor was the term even mainstream in 2014 internet.

Nah I believe a lot of them are actually autistic and some are faking. I notice they are hesitant to anything claiming that males are more susceptible, which would make sense considering how many other things males are more susceptible to because of only one X chromosome. So why would this be any different? It’s only annoying when they play Oppression Olympics and think every autistic man is a STEM genius loved by everyone because they got diagnosed at 13 rather than 23.

That type of future sounds unsustainable, society would crumble. Or even if it doesn’t living conditions would go down quite a bit.

Piggybacking off this it’s like teaching kids traditional gender roles. This is why teaching a little girl a traditionally female skill because her husband will love her for it is seen in a worser light than teaching a little boy a traditionally male skill because his future wife will love him more for it.

Reminds me of how people cry foul when women aren't allowed in the military, meanwhile a bunch of guys are off being drafted and forcibly sacrificed in combat and people are usually silent. It’s like that movie Mulan. Everyone acknowledges it was oppressive that women in ancient China had to be docile and pretty for their husbands. And glosses over the men in the Chinese Army being sent to death.

I remember somewhere I read a comment saying that in Victorian Britain the orphan boys had it easier than the girls because they always had the option of joining the Royal Navy/Army after a certain age(15 I think), meanwhile if the girls didn’t find a husband they were screwed. Yeah it’s an ok point but you’re talking about two different bites of a shit sandwich there.

A lot of them are working shitty jobs living paycheck to paycheck just like the guys. I will say it’s easier for them to move out super young(<25) partly due to older boyfriends, in regards to those articles mentioning that less young women than men are living at home.

It’s because on average they hit puberty 1 or 2 years earlier than boys. It’s a biological difference, it doesn’t mean boys are dumb. It’s only feminist trite if they use it to make themselves sound superior to males.

Funny how they sometimes say they don’t understand male competitiveness but they’re plenty competitive when it comes to which sex has a harder life.

Different races have more in common with each other than men and women. I’ve always wondered, who do white men have more in common with, white women or black men?

Remember men are human doings not human beings hence why there’s multiple sayings basically going “a woman is, a man becomes” and others along the lines of that. Proven further by the fact that becoming a woman is by going through and completing puberty(of which female puberty does sound rough I won’t take anything away from that.) Becoming a man takes more than just going through puberty and reaching your 18th/20th/21st birthday because it’s partly measured socially and your achievements are al…

In a way.. back when I was in school one time in class a bully said something I can’t remember and I flipped him the middle finger and my teacher caught it and told my mom and she just said “boys will be boys”, as if it still wouldn’t be just as justified if me and the bully were girls. The phrase is used for typical shit you would see a young underage male doing. The problem is people trying to make it more sinister than it actually is like committing actual crimes. Raping women or shooting up …

I agree. This is why I don’t always use the Norah Vincent case to use to shoot back at feminists because I know there’s men who switched and lived as women and hated it too. I’ve noticed feminists and mra’s have a lot in common. They both seem to think the opposite sex gets things handed to them just because of their gender. They both think their gender is the one that gets mistreated and ignored by society. Both think they get the raw deal in marriage. I’ve heard both sides say something along …

I’m starting to wonder… is it just me or do we have more empathy for women who hate men because of bad past experiences or childhood trauma as compared to the opposite?

While there is truth to boys maturing later, funny how that completely goes out the window when a boy and a girl commits a criminal act and it’s time to sentence them or when a boy gets raped.

Not really surprising, there’s women out there who didn’t know that teenage boys could get moody, depressed, or have insecurities about their bodies. I would know, my mother was one of them.

Lost it’s meaning a long time ago, then became an insult, a scapegoat, a boogeyman and everything in between. Btw women are more likely to be raped or killed by a partner not some random stranger who happens to be incel. First it was used for people who are virgins not by choice, then it became a term for angry virgins, then became a replacement for the word virgin, then it got to the point where any man who criticized women’s behavior was an incel. Then everytime the next asshole decides to pic…

Assuming you live in the west and going by your username I’m going to assume you’re a teen, you don’t. There is no inherent societal power that teenage boys have over teenage girls and vice-versa as opposed to what r/askfeminists would say.

Everytime I hear about FTM’s griping I’m like “no shit?” Your a grown man standing at like 5 flat and probably <120 lbs with a feminine frame and facial features. Of course people aren’t going to be very nice to a man who looks like that. Why do you think the shorter a man is the more likely he is to commit suicide? Or why so many incels are suicidal and complain about “just a few millimeters of bone?” On top of that they don’t even have the male socialization an AMAB guy would have. No wonder s…

The bell curve, males tend to be on the extreme ends, females are in the middle hence why there’s more male geniuses but also more male dumbasses. Because of this there will always be more autistic males than autistic females born. And yet the diagnosis of autism, adhd, and other mental disorders and illnesses are being trumpeted as misogyny even though it’s painfully obvious it’s the males drawing the short end of the stick in this area.

/r/MensRights29/04/21 05:50 PM

Yes I agree that the murders and suicides are contributing to the death toll but males are more likely to die at every stage in life even in the womb. In my ethnicity the women live longer by 5-6 years so my older sister’s on track to outlive me naturally but I’m not upset about it because that’s biology. Which is why I always thought that was a dumb MRA complaint.

Yeah exactly you having a period is something you have to take up with Evolution/Mother Nature, like with us and having shorter lives. That’s biology not sexism.

You don’t even have to go that far. If a man killed his son he’d get serious jail time and those fellow prisoners would give him that work. They really don’t like child killers, molesters, and rapists in there.

I don’t even have to Google it, given the track record of those Caribbean islands, I already know that the crime rate is high asf. And I wonder which gender gets killed the most in Puerto Rico?... as if I even have to ask

They wouldn’t dare. If you have a problem with a black man saying #notallblackmen when you generalize them as criminals or an Arab saying #notallMuslims when you generalize them as terrorists, you’re gonna look like a racist asshole.

I haven’t really been paying attention to this but I heard that people are being racist towards Asians because of Corons. But just like how people are more prejudiced towards gays rather than lesbians, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Asian males who are getting the brunt of it.

Yup, one of my teachers was talking to the class about wars in the past and basically said that the women on the losing side were victims because they weren’t enough men to go around for all of them when the men returned home.

I still remember the gender and age chapter in my Sociology class. I couldn’t take the part about circumcision seriously considering in that part it was only talking about FGM, it didn’t say a word about MGM. Yet, the part where they mentioned the glass ceiling acknowledged that not all men were on top.
