5	Red Flags 101: The Absent Father I can definitely relate to this. Got out of a LTR about 6 months ago with a woman with an absent father. She has only seen him a handful of times, and he's currently in a mental hospital. She would constantly try to control everything I did, and would disrespect me frequently. Just like OP, she was very clingy from the get go. Constantly blowing up my phone (spam calling and texting), even when she knew I was working.
