Negotiating tattoo prices is the norm. The artist in the OP even alludes to this with the "but I pretty charge by the piece" bit, meaning that in general it comes to about $220 an hour but it really depends (AKA that's a rough estimate and there will probably be a negotiation once the design is given).

That wage is not a salary, it only counts while they're actually tattooing. If the tattoo only takes 2 hours and for some reason that's the only business you get that week then that's the only money you get that week despite having worked for much, much longer than the two paid hours (simply being there waiting, researching, drawing it, redesigning it, etc.). That's why tattoos often end up being quite expensive: People are paying for all that dead down time.

He's not talking about age to start but rather the age to have your own house and such, not shared with anyone else.

To be fair it's getting rarer and rarer for men too. At this point a 30 year old person is still pretty new to their career unless they went into it straight after college. If that's what they did they'd have 8-14 years in it but with a Bachelor's or nothing, ehich often locked them in at lower positions which generally paid less for that time anyways. Not to mention the debt accrued if they actually went to college. Most of my friends are just now entering the workforce as a career at 25-26. Th…

Less incel and more redpill. They seem to be able to get laid, they just have a super shitty "only I matter ever and I'm going to squeeze everything I can from this interaction" attitude about relationships and men (though TBH I could definitely see it even seeping on to other women they may not respect). They seem to be treating relationships like a competition/transaction where they're not only keeping accurate 'scoring' but actually want to come up winning instead of at a balanced zero. No wo…

Absolutely. Cardi B fucked and drugged men so she could steal from them while Cosby drugged women so he could fuck them. The latter is rape while the former is just an elaborate robbery. Not to mention that Bill Cosby has victims come forward which is why he got arrested in the first place while Cardi B has had no victims come forward.

The thing is that it isn't informal, it's been in dictionaries for over a hundred years.

I'd say she's almost entirely wrong though. Both sneaked and snuck are past tenses of sneak but she specifically claimed "snuck isn't a word" which is wrong.

This. Though IIRC if you study medicine you still have STEM degree (it's part of the "science" bit).

It's probably some person that doesn't follow the news and has only heard about it from here so they think this is something unknown by everyone else too. Hell, they don't realize that the post is just a screenshot of a week old news article either so I don't think there's much point in arguing with them.

The post is a screenshot of a news headline from around one week ago. People don't even need to call for this to make news, it already did before it even got to Reddit.

You didn't because it is known to everyone. It's on the front page of Reddit because it's so known and there's stories about it. Remember, when it comes to news Reddit is an aggregator and not a source so when a piece of news gets mainstream on Reddit it's because it got reposted from the source. This post? Literally a 1 week old screenshot from a news site. So yes, everyone does know about it; it's even on Reddit's front page. People don't need to call for it to be made news, it already made th…

Go on any mainstream news site and you'll find they made a story about it so there's no need for people to cry for stories to be made about it - it's been done. You're not going to find it in breaking world news of course, but we are going through a pandemic that's killing thousands a day, Krakatoa just erupted, there's a massive locust plague in Africa, etc. so celebrity news takes a backseat to those so you'll have to go into the celebrity news section.

Eh, women have privileges in certain areas and men have privileges in others.

The problem with 'freedom of speech' subs is that because stuff like blatant racism, sexism, etc. is banned or shunned in the rest of Reddit any sub that has lax rules about it eventually becomes filled with a large amount of people that hold those otherwise banned views. That's how /r/Bad_Cop_No_Donut went from a place that had normal people discussing stories about police misconduct into a straight-up cop hate sub that sometimes advocates for killing cops, how /r/ImGoingToHellForThis went from…

/r/ImGoingToHellForThis is probably thr biggest hate sub on Reddit right now. /r/Bad_Cop_No_Donut is another one that went from normal people posting stuff about cops fucking up to hosting almost exclusively the ACAB cophater crowd, and now it's becoming more and more common for people do advocate the killing of cops. It gets a bit better when a post hits the frontpage so more normal people pour in, but for posts that don't you can really see the putrefaction.

Because it's not in the US. It has less to do with what she actually did than where she did it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
