I think that is an important distinction to make. Even in 5th grade, adults don't want to hear boys snitching and whining and tattling. Men/boys are expected from a VERY early age to "man-up". When a young boy tattles, everyone from the teacher down looks at him as a sackless shit. When a girl tattles, something has to be done! We have to protect this poor little girl at all costs, even if it means punishing boys for doing nothing wrong.

The point isn't that men and women enjoyed the date roughly the same. The point is that men didn't change how much they enjoyed the date based on the attractiveness of the woman. When men picked dates based on profile pictures, enjoyment rate was 85%. When men went on dates with no profile pictures available, thus NOT picking based on attractiveness, their enjoyment rate was STILL 85%. The same went for women.
