Also, to put your numbers in context there were 674 total GMs between 1970 and 2000, and 1251 GMs from 2000 to present, so there's been a growth in chess in general. The growth rate doesn't match though. That means the number of GMs, since 2000, has increased by just over 100% when compared to the previous 30 years. However, the number of female GMs increased by just over 600% in that same time frame.

I think this information speaks volumes: Women's chess league was formed by FIDE in 1927 - before women had any real social freedom. Before 1970, there was not one female Grand Master, though there were Women Grand Masters (GMs of the women's division, or "WGMs"). Between 1970 & 2000 there were six female Grand Masters. If you met her and formed a bond naturally, then sure, I've known a fair number of men in my life who have done this, and they're very happily married. I think women should stop this habit though. It’s almost like they’re staring daggers in an attempt to act tough, but honestly it just immediately comes across as presumptuous and annoying. I mean, just use the opposite argument that man-hating women use: A man's sperm, a donor's egg, and a nanny to help raise the child while the father works. I wouldn't take this route personally, since I do believe having two biological parents present physically and emotionally is invaluable for the proper development of a healthy child - I doubt a nanny, excluding the wildly exceptional, would ever care for a child as much as a mother. Because it's not the same tissue that's being removed? The point stands from my perspective - removing functional genital tissues from an infant should never be encouraged, unless it's required to correct a medical anomaly which would otherwise cause harm.
