1	Another Perspective on the Wage Gap I think that lessening the difficulty of a professional sport is taking something away from it and I'd be a bit insulted if I was on the one that it was happening to. It wouldn't really be lessen the difficulty, though. Right now playing with man-sized hoops makes the game MORE difficult for women than it is for men. Sizing the hoops to fit women's dimensions would make it equal. 5	Another Perspective on the Wage Gap Lots of women's sports equipment is downsized because women's bodies are smaller. The balls are smaller because women in general have smaller hands, so why not the hoops because women have shorter bodies? I don't think it would make anyone more likely to watch women's basketball, but it would add different game play elements to the sport to make it closer to the men's sport.
