I hate to answer my wife with a yes when she 'advices' things I know. What's the right way to respond to such things?Get an e reader and read the sidebar. WISNIFG covers how to respond to such things (I'm currently on this chapter). The only problem is you need to read all the books in order for this to work. Then re-read them and re-read them for retention. Most here will give you recommendations on how to handle the situation, but it is only a small piece of the puzzle and done out of context can make things worse. | /r/askMRP | 20/01/16 02:00 AM
Married 8 years and need some advice. Thanks for the advice. Enjoyed the podcasts they were the beginning of what will be a great change in my life. | /r/askMRP | 18/12/15 08:43 PM
Married 8 years and need some advice.Thanks. I am currently reading my prerequisites. I read my first book in ten years. "No more Mr. Nice Guy" and learned a lot about myself. I just finished it yesterday and plan to read it again. I have dumped the games. Fuck em I don't need em and I've got better shit to do. You're right the weight thing is my problem. I have realized that I work out for me. I'm much more confident about how I look and pick at my flaws less. I go home tomorrow and plan to work hard on this. This sub and even the… | /r/askMRP | 18/12/15 04:25 PM
Married 8 years and need some advice.Thanks. I am learning more about it now. I'm trying to ease into. A complete change to Alpha right away would result in her thinking I'm acting out simply because she threatened to end our relationship. That being said a true alpha wouldn't give a shit. That's what I'm working towards. | /r/askMRP | 17/12/15 11:53 PM
Married 8 years and need some advice. You're input is appreciated. It's not me being gone though. It's me being not "there" when I'm home. Our best years were when I was busting my ass and working hard. I'm fairly certain it was because I was the man of the house. I came home sweaty and exhausted and did a better job of being the man of the house. Taking the job where I was allowed be lazy and make less money ducking immasculated me and I'm pretty sure I was depressed and didn't realize it. Compound that with me being a nice guy and… | /r/askMRP | 17/12/15 11:48 PM
Married 8 years and need some advice.Thanks. Your on point with this. I work as hard as I do because it makes me happy. I'm generally a better man when I'm stressed and tired. What happened was when I took that job I lost that happiness and focused more on everyone else. I just got passed the part in NMMNG where putting myself first may end up in divorce. While I'd like it to work out, it will be what it will be. | /r/askMRP | 17/12/15 11:40 PM
