Fortnite is 100 players and 340 football fields in size, and full gear is required. Not all the most popular sportsball players are Michael Jordan’s, either.

It's exactly that, though. Asian supremacy is another opinion to agree or disagree with. Equality is another opinion to agree or disagree with. Slavery is another opinion to agree or disagree with. I used to play drums in the orchestral pit for musicals in high school. And I remember that for stage effect, the girls had to deliberately use a lot of bright makeup so their facial expressions could easily be seen from the back row of the theater. But that kind of makeup style doesn't turn me on. It's utilitarian. It has a purpose. I'm certainly no expert, I only know what I like, but for my taste, the most appealing makeup job is done such that I don't notice it and yet you have enhanced your…

I like this analysis. RP men are ones who, seeing the world as it is, decide that they can compete successfully in this new world, despite the changes in the rules since feminism became the dominant paradigm. MGTOWs, on the other hand, upon seeing the world as it is, raise the white flag of surrender and decide that they do not want to compete (or that they cannot compete and succeed), given the changes in the rules since feminism became the dominant paradigm.

Another, related article, which also serves to diagnose the problem from the left's point of view, but is entirely focused on the faults of the left. It's an excellent (albeit long) think piece about the failure of liberals to empathize, and how that leads directly to President Trump. Fair enough. Just pointing out that the crux of the problems in your post seems to be the work environment/schedule. Maybe you should be looking for other options, even if you don't intend to leave right away. A hospital job where you work 14-hour shifts isn't the only option for a nurse, and it sounds like that's the issue more than anything else. You may want to re-examine your question, and see if you are really asking about the right thing. Is it the working out, and bad fried food, and your relationship with your boyfriend which are the problems? Or is it your job - and if you changed jobs, then all those other issues would disappear? Have you considered maybe that you're putting your job above t…

I think we are like the Nebuchadnezzar floating around just outside of the Matrix reality. The powers that control the Matrix hate it, they harass us, threaten us, and make it seem like we are one step away from being destroyed. The point circles back to your previous post about the mathematics of n-counts (which was a great read). In that post — and this was not explicitly stated, if I remember right, but it seemed to me — the thing that keeps your example women's n-counts low is those women ended up being worth keeping around, not because of some nice words or false promises or anything else, but because those women had made themselves into someone valued in the relationship beyond mere sexual gratification. If you're looking at the guys over at TRP, the alphas over there have a different goal (generally) than the women here (generally). Best write up of this I've seen is this article describing three different types of alphas: the Bull alpha, the Bear alpha, and the Wolf alpha. Each of these types exhibits alpha characteristics, but in line with their own goals as individuals. Bears are outside the scope of discussion because their motivation is mainly outside of the male/female SMP dynamic (MGTOW …

It's also an admission that women are the weaker sex. As a man I've never been afraid to hire an uber. The fact that some women are afraid of it is an admission that they cannot take care of themselves. Do you think these same women would be afraid to take an uber if they had a male companion riding with them. Of course not. They'd feel protected by that male.

The phone call shows how delightful the family is. The mom mentioned how she was happy her daughter was in the waiting room and not the cell, because apparently the mom had been in that jail before. This is an excellent list, and as an older gentleman I'd like to expand on a couple of points. Get a hobby, something you really like and get good at it. Get multiple hobbies. Your tastes will change over time. Don't be afraid to experiment. Some will fade, some you will find out are your true passion and never leave you. Develop a plan for the future. /u/Madman644 is just that dumb. Like, extra chromosome, eyes too far apart dumb. Etymology of the word cuckold: late Old English, from Old French cucuault, from cucu ‘cuckoo’ (from the cuckoo's habit of laying its egg in another bird's nest). The equivalent words in French and other languages applied to both the bird and the adulterer; cuckold has never been applied to the bird in English.

A buddy of mine went through similar, it took him over a year to get shared custody of his infant son. That's a year of his kid's life that he can't get back, you know?

It doesn't need to be derogatory, and I do not agree with being derogatory towards individuals with mental health problems, but it's accurate and useful to look at a transgender person as being different from male or female. It doesn't help assess the behavior with an incorrect assumption of basic biology.

Yes. Everyone needs to keep in mind that this isn't actually a woman. This is a transgender. So a male beta with no bux, devolves into an omega with a self esteem so low that it's 9 miles underground, figures out that being trans gives him the ability to get guys to cater to him, the way no woman ever would cater to him as a male. This gives our trans person the tingles by giving him any self esteem at all, even if it's fraudulent based on being something (trans female) other than what he is (om…

It's so easy to make a friend or two though. Here's another lesson you could glean from the article - that any town you move to, there's other dudes who are in the same boat as you. Just talk to people and you'll find a few compadres. You don't have to be BFF's. So monk away if you must, but I didn't cut off my male friends during my monk mode. You're free to do more research on your own and report back to us. The biggest factor they cited was age. It just is a consequence of getting older and not keeping up with old friends and not forming new friendships over time. 2nd biggest factor was marriage, even if divorced (but not unmarried LTRs).

You have to just get over yourself and do it. Join a group based on interests. Go to bars where gaming chicks isn't your goal. Talk to people (that's just good practice for game anyway, talk to everybody). I moved across country a few years ago, from the place where I grew up, to a completely unknown area on the west coast. This study (according to the article, which admittedly may be flawed)takes into account men both in and outside of marriage. Unmarried men lose their male friendships nearly as much, although not as much. And that the effect was not as strong in unmarried LTRs. So, my statement "don't get married" was just an appendage to the main lesson, keep up your circle of male friends.

"To each their own" is fine, but let's be honest about one thing. Transgender is the only body-dysmorphic condition where the medical establishment is ok with changing the physical body (often irreversibly) to conform to the psychological delusion, rather than trying to help the person to not suffer from the delusion and accept their physical body for what it is. Good example is the sad case of a woman who had a delusion that she should have been born blind instead of sighted. People were rightf…

Better to complement than compliment, IMO. Being a good supportive partner who does things which help your man to feel like a man, this is the best compliment he can get anyway. I'm thinking in my mind like why aren't you trying to look good for me? Patrice used to comment on this all the time - guys censor ourselves way too much, to save a girl's feelings. Don't fucking do it. Say what your gut wants you to say, don't just think it and then filter it for her benefit (because ultimately it's not for her benefit if you don't say what's on your mind and then later dump her and she ends up as a post-wall cat lady). No, I meant that it isn't actually a luxury. If you are in a married with kids situation, then it's a choice to trade the raising of the children for work outside the home. it requires a one-salary household income high enough to comfortably allow for the mother to stay home with the kids. Define comfort. Unless you're living on the edge of poverty, plenty of people make the choice to be frugal and lower middle class and give the kids the time and attention they need, rather than be middle class…

A job is a burden. So it shouldn't be considered a job. Nor should it be considered a luxury. A luxury is something only some people can afford, but even the poorest people on earth can raise a family. So it isn't a luxury, either. Rather, it should be seen as an act of love, and selflessness. I think as a society in general, we would raise better children if this were a more common conception of raising kids.

Saying shit like "I suck with women" is one of the things you're doing wrong. Take the lesson as its given. It's called negative self-talk and it's mental poison. It also presupposes that there's something wrong with you that causes you to suck, rather than it being something you can control. If personal experience teaches anything, it is that although men expect educated women to be less vapid than uneducated ones, such expectation yields little but disappointment. Such education can actually worsen a woman's innate hamster - by providing it with the tools and vocabulary of the academic, an education can sometimes lead women not to greater deepening of self-awareness, but to greater heights of self-delusion.

I've seriously never approached someone first. I've always left it up to men to approach me first. Is this something I should really change? It's one option, yes. Question for you - is your height an issue for you, as far as dating a shorter man? Or is it only an issue with men not approaching you? Women seem to have a very skewed perception of male height: according to studies, average height for Western men — European, American, Australian, etc — is around 5'9" or so, depending on the specific country. That means that half the Western men you'll see are under 5'9" and women (in general) seem to believe the average is actually higher than that. Many men …

This law will fail. It's not enforceable. The law may fail, but not due to unenforceability. The UK's porn law is unenforceable, but that isn't stopping them from trying. China's censorship laws are theoretically unenforceable but a relatively compliant populace seems to just accept it. America's DMCA would seem unenforceable but YouTube and other sites are more than willing to fuck over their own users and forsake "fair use" doctrine in favor of a "shoot first, as questions later" approach.

Basically, there's nothing controlling about having ideas. In fact, the opposite is worse - not having ideas, or pretending to not have ideas, is manipulative and controlling behavior. Ideas are welcome - if you have a suggestion, express it - absolutely yes. But there's very little that's more frustrating and manipulative than when a woman passive-aggressively says "I don't know, I don't care, what do you want to do?" and then complains about the decision, or even worse, use it as a bargaining …

Gotta be careful with how you play the charisma card. Some aspects of charisma are beneficial but humor is a dangerous ground. I once made a self-deprecating joke about my advancing age in an interview with a female manager, and she took it as a backhanded comment about her age. It clearly wasn't, but I could also clearly see the hamster at work, making the dialogue all about her, in her mind, no matter what was being discussed. I think that's probably the main difference. Men interviewers are p…

Reading the rest really didn't add much to the question, nor did it change the answer. You're 20 years old. You want to spend the next 60-70 years with only this girl? You're in no way in a position to decide that yet. Enjoy college. You never get those years, or your youth, back.

If you want to be more empathetic, I recommend to a) study it, and b) practice it (aka fake it till you make it). Some good resources that I highly recommend are Brené Brown's books and Eckhart Tolle's books (I actually prefer Tolle in audiobook, he does them himself, and I think hearing him speak the words adds a lot to it). Here's a bit of Brené talking about empathy in a cute animated RSA short on YouTube.

There is no hope. Thing is, you don't need hope. Hope is the greatest lie ever sold. Hope and fear are two sides of the same coin. They are both attachment to outcome. In one case (hope), it is attachment to positive outcomes; in the other case (fear), attachment to negative outcomes. In either case, you are limiting possibilities down to a subset of negative or positive outcomes rather than the infinite number of possible futures available to you. When we talk about being "outcome independent" …

Yeah I'm learning this right now in real time. Going on tinder helps with abundance mentality. I'm not sweating this one particular new girl like I would have in the past, because of that. It's therapeutic - just seeing all the options out there makes it easy to actually not be so concerned about any one girl. And shit, any one of them could turn out to be a better fit for me than the girl I'm with now. So it's a win-win.

Sure, back in the late-1700s when the efficiency of book production was very low by today's standards, the relative cost was quite high compared to today's wages, and the scarcity of books was much higher, that makes a ton of sense. But in 2015, when the cost of production is very low, particularly for ebooks, and standards of living are much higher, we don't have a situation that's really comparable. Are you against libraries as well? Yes. And I'm not the only one, otherwise there wouldn't be a movement to compensate authors for works being loaned out by libraries. But when you torrent a book then you aren't even borrowing from a library where compensation for the author might happen. Information should never be just for people who can pay for it. And I suppose you donate 100% of your paycheck every week to charity? Being a mooch isn't alpha.

You're giving yourself options in life, which is important when you're young because you don't know where life is going to lead you just yet. The advantage you have is that you have a better sense of what you want than many young women in our society, and that enables you to make better choices now, to leave yourself options in the future.

This is some serious armchair psychology here, so take it with a grain of salt, but I wonder if the ex-girlfriends may be a symptom and not the root cause. It's the difference between investing in marketing and packaging (which women spend their resources on, such as clothes and makeup), and investing in the product itself (the R&D of building skills, a career, knowledge, etc). There's not a lot, but there's this report about a study that looked at not male promiscuity vs divorce rates per se, but it looked at women's preferences in terms of the number of past relationships of men. Now, assuming that "relationships" in this context are ones that men consider LTRs and not one-night-stands, it would stand to reason that this desire of women to have a man with 2-4 past relationships would imply a higher sexual partner count, with 2-4 of those becoming serious relationship…

I'm inclined to disagree with you there. The idea at the core of the red pill is that men and women have an evolutionary biology basis for having developed different sexual strategies. Women are biologically predisposed to hypergamy and protecting the eggs, and making sure they have access to resources to care for and raise the next generation. Men are biologically predisposed to pass along their genes before they die in war or hunting or protecting the women and children. Men are disposable, th…

blokes these days That's just the nature of men. You have to practice keeping your boundaries in a more casual, indirect way, without having to go full-force into a direct discussion about it so early on. Guys are pretty much always going to be pushing for more - selectivity is the female sexual strategy, not the man's strategy.

Am I going about this wrong? Dating (as my shrink always tells me) is a filtering process. The ones who vanish are probably not what you're looking for. Let them filter themselves out, so you aren't wasting your time. That being said, what do you mean you tell them "upfront"? If it's your first thing you say before you get to know anything else about the person, that seems to me to be a bit too forward. It would definitely put me off if I go on a date and the first thing the girl tells me is "I …

I love this update, thanks for the heads up, however one FTFY: 2) GET A FUCKING prenup. DON'T GET FUCKING MARRIED.

This may not be a popular data point, but the research suggests that zero sex partners is best, if what you're looking for is a long term, stable marriage. The stats drop off dramatically beyond zero: <10% divorce rate when it's zero sex partners before marriage, 30% divorce rate when it's 1-2 sex partners before marriage, and then the stats just get worse from there. See chart #2 here, along with some other charts and info that provides more context: http://socialpathology.blogspot.ca/2012/03/p…

Yeah that seems to be the case. It's unintentional dread game. If he was actually using it towards some goal, it probably would work but he's just reacting to the situation she put him in. Dread could be useful in this situation if his goal was, for example, an open marriage or getting his wife to be more sexually open with him.

Well I would consider that to be a clear goal. Changing her behavior in some way that benefits the relationship. In this case, I'm not sure that he's got some relationship-improving goal in mind, at least not one that the wife mentioned in her post.

I'm thinking that from the husband's perspective, he's made 2 mistakes (we are here to learn about male game, not just analyze and criticize women, right?) Mistake one is he married her. It's so much more difficult to demote a wife than it is to demote an LTR back to plate, or simply next her when you find some shit like this that you deem unacceptable. Mistake two is that he seems to be using dread with no clear objective (this may only be unclear because we are only hearing her side of it). Do…

I do agree with investing my time in women who will give me something in return and a different type of attention. But until then it's better to just have someone to talk to, you know? And to this I would say, maybe you should be questioning why you need to get your male companionship from a female, and not other men. There's a lot to be said for male bonding and what it does for the psyche. So by dropping this chick, you put yourself in a place where you have to figure out why you're not making…

But I'm tired of constantly comparing everything to and for women. I feel this actually eventually becomes harmful. I am not MGTOW but I feel like talking about women so often gives them far too much merit and brings about other issues. I feel many users may become too obsessed with women and are just placing them on a different shaped pedestal than before. This is basically the whole moral of the story in "The Game" by Neil Strauss. There's a limit to how much game alone can improve your life.

Not just at work. Some dude pulled in front of an ex-cop in traffic the other day in SoCal and the ex-cop started chasing him down, pulled him out of the car, and pointed a gun in his face. Men have to be prepared for threats and stresses that can come from anywhere, from seemingly nowhere sometimes. It's a constant challenge - the world "shit tests" a man on a daily basis.

Elliott Hulse calls it "becoming the strongest version of yourself" and that is probably the best single phrase that describes it. Not becoming someone else, not reading about self improvement, but the best "you" that you can be. If you want to take this good advice but don't know how to meditate, I highly recommend the Headspace app. The first 10 exercises are free and will teach you the basics. Once I found the right one it helped me a ton, and pretty fast. 100% agree with this. The trick is finding the right one. I found a male therapist who has 30+ years of experience with childhood trauma, attachment and relationship issues, I bring up concepts that I have read on TRP, or Heartiste, or some of the other sidebar material, and he doesn't disagree with any of it, because it's all just evolutionary psychology and it's not some outlandish theory. What you are describing is the human condition. We all struggle to find connection, and when we do, it's often fleeting. But that ultimately is the goal. Read "Man's Search For Meaning" by Viktor Frankl to help you overcome this existential angst. But recognize that the struggle for connection and meaning you describe, it is part of life, not the antithesis of life. Don't fight it, embrace it and realize that achieving these things, even for moments, is better than not living at all.

TRP isn't PUA. What do you mean "does it work?" How do you suppose being a genuine, complete, confident man supposed to work? There are game aspects to it, but at its core TRP is about opening our eyes to the evolutionary biology behind the SMP and manhood itself, as compared to the pile of Disney love fairytale bullshit most of us learn growing up. It's not your job to give your fellow high-schoolers a taste of the red pill or to try and spread the ideas of TRP. So what if women are doing better? What are you going to do about it? Riot? I thought that the main point of this sub was self-improvement, not bitching. The main point of this sub is to recognize the reality of the situation, and work within that reality to your best advantage. That's why it's called "The Red Pill" - if you've seen the movie The Matrix, what is offered by taking the red pill is just to see the world as it is, rather than see it as you wish it would be. Right. As a man, I don't want a woman who is my match in my areas of expertise. I'm more inclined to find the virtues she brings to the situation that I don't already have. It takes a certain social intelligence and aesthetic aptitude to plan and host a dinner party, for example. This is not any less valuable than…

This is very good to consider. A couple of weeks ago I posted something from Elliott Hulse and Stefan Molyneux. They are both family men, and are (I think) exemplars of being alpha in very different ways, unique to their own selves, and neither of them are plate-spinning soft harem leaders. And while I got many positive responses to the post, I also got some smaller percentage of "he's not alpha, he's against spinning plates" or something like that. I think there are plenty of married men here w…

Even just as far as career advice relating to fashion, a good rule of thumb I have always followed is to "dress for the job you want to have, not the job you have". This means, look at the people one step up from you on the ladder (don't overdo it and start dressing in tuxedos every day because you want to be James Bond or something). If you're a teacher and you want to be the principal, dress like you think a principal should dress. If you're an IT guy and want to be the manager of your team, d…

It's not something that is promoted or not promoted. Red pill is about seeing the world as it is. That rule of thumb is something that simply is the way the world sees things. OP is asking about conventional men. Conventional society tends to live tacitly by that age old rule of thumb. I mention it so that OP can see that her age even by conventional standards is not a deal breaker for men of a wide range of ages. The rule of thumb for age difference and social acceptability for guys is "half your age plus seven". So late 30s guy should not be looking for an LTR with someone younger than you. A 40 year old should keep to 27 year olds and older, using that rule of thumb. I am talking about LTR though, not plate spinning or being a sugar daddy (which does not seem to be your desired outcome anyway). In which case you're right, older guys are looking for younger plates to spin.

You can go to a regular internist, or an endocrinologist. You want to test your total T, as well as LH and FSH levels - these will help determine if your problem is primary or secondary hypogonadism. If you have primary hypogonadism (your balls simply cannot produce testosterone at a high enough level), or don't care about your ability to make kids, then TRT is good, and probably the only option. If you have secondary hypogonadism, where your balls can make testosterone but are getting the wrong…

Eastern European and Western European are different mindsets. Eastern Europeans grew up under deprivation and Communism (and in some cases, war, such as the Balkans). They have far less sense of entitlement and "hey I'm a woman and everyone should cater to me for that reason alone." Western European women I think have a lot in common with American women, although Europeans are generally fitter than Americans.

This is somehow more frightening than the AIDS scare of the 1980s. Who in their right mind want to take such risks in a country or state where this stuff is taken seriously? Having any sex on a college campus in California, for example, seems as risky to the male as having unprotected gay sex in Africa would be. Different type of risk, but getting jailed for rape is every bit as life-altering as catching an incurable diagnosis. This is true madness.

I agree. But he can't have the option of custody on the one hand, and no fiduciary responsibility on the other hand. One goes with the other. If the state were to say that the father did not have to pay child support, then the father would also probably not have much standing to try and claim custody away from the mother. Hopefully, given that the mother is a provable statutory rapist, that would weigh heavily in favor of reduced or no custody on her part. But then again, courts time and again s…

That's a good point, and is something that could be additionally litigated, but it's separate from the issue of the child having food to eat and a roof over their head. The state doesn't say "well, because the mother is evil, the father is free of obligation to the child." If anything, the father having a responsibility to pay for the child, also has the standing to sue the mother for custody, or perhaps to even put the child up for adoption, or whatever other remedy seems appropriate to him. I am probably inclined to agree, but it's not clear cut. The child shouldn't suffer for the sins of the mother. Making the father pay means ultimately he could get custody and rescue that kid from his obviously-fucked-up mother. Even if the father's parents do a lot of the heavy lifting, it might ultimately be better for the kid than being the child of a single mother on the public dole. We've been down this path before. The issue is that the child is also a victim, and in the logic of the law, the child's interests have to come before the woman's, or the father, who also is a victim in this case. Ultimately, someone has to pay for this kid's expenses. If the mother picks up the tab, she will appeal to the state for aid. The state would rather pass the bill along to the father than to pay it out of state coffers, even if the father himself was the victim of a crime. It sucks, bu…

If you're eventually looking for a LTR, be EXTRA vigilant. Or just don't have a LTR. Have an LTR if you want to, but don't marry. I think of marriage like a bad lease on a car, one that you can't get out of until death do you part. Buy a used car or a new car, either way, but pay cash for it and you can always walk away. There's no marriage warranty on her lying about her past, but with an LTR you can always get a trade-in.

Well, in Africa there are a lot of people who believe HIV/AIDS can be caused by and/or cured by witchcraft. Of the 218 participants interviewed, 55% were male and about half over 40 years old. Half had post-primary education and two-thirds (65%) were married with 31% in polygamous union. Average household monthly income was Kshs. 5600 (USD 72). Three quarters (72%) believed in witchcraft and 95% reported that HIV/AIDS was one of the most common diseases in the community. Over three quarters (78%…

Find a male psychotherapist. Seriously. And even with a male therapist, you're going to have to shop around for one who isn't a blue-piller anyway. You want help but if you're not being honest with your therapist, you're not going to get help. With the issues you're describing, the issues themselves are going to interfere with the therapeutic relationship, with a female therapist. There are good male therapists who deal with early childhood trauma and attachment issues. That's a bullshit reason …

Men find it easy to love women - love is free, and it feels good to love a woman - but too many women make it hard to like them, like the woman in this story. I think men have a lot of childhood experiences with peer camaraderie, which gives us skills in being likeable. We are part of sports teams, or we tell good jokes with our buddies on the corner, or we learn to play musical instruments, or whatever. We enjoy being around people we like, and we make ourselves likeable and cultivate those ski…

I'd add to that last point, if she has proper relationship with her family in context. If she comes from a stable background and her parents aren't nuts, and she has a good and health relationship with them, that's the ideal. If her parents are nuts and she has good boundaries with them, that's a close second (last thing you want in an LTR is nutty parents, especially her mother, interfering with your LTR's life, and therefore, yours.) Sell the house and buy a "mother-daughter" type house (ignore the shitty name for it). That's a house with separate entrances for you and her, separate kitchens, and your own bathrooms, so you can technically live together without being in each other's space all the time. That might be easier than having to redecorate "her" space. And you can still eat her home cooking when you're not otherwise occupied.

A good woman lives for this opportunity. She's probably never been happier, to be able to do this for you. So IMO don't overdo it on the mushy gratitude, think of it like she's got the opportunity of a lifetime right now, to fulfill her womanly desire to be the caregiver, and as soon as your arms are healed you're not going to need all this TLC. Have you heard of the Florence Nightingale effect? Worth reading about. In fact, the more difficult challenge may be to transition back to normality aft…

If you don't see a difference, I can't help you. 24 over a lifetime is perhaps average. 24 in one day, that's a rare woman who is going to achieve that. 24 in a year might be that one "experimental year in college" for some women. There's a range of possibilities for what a woman's history might be, and those possibilities are not all equal.

Jackass - part of having a "good vocabulary" is learning specialized lingo. It makes communication efficient to not have to explain every concept every time. I've never gotten a raise that was worth talking about. And yet, when I first started in my career, I was able to double my annual income in only a few years (I have no college) by upgrading my job. When you get hired, that's your time to negotiate. So, by interviewing for jobs while you have a good job, you increase your JMV (job market value) and can bump up your pay by 20% at a time, if you play your cards right. Spend 1-2 years per job, be good at your job, and then start interviewing. Don't…

This is all there is to it. It was about the boss/employee power differential. The boss was an idiot for putting himself in this situation. You have to have a basic understanding of how the world works, even if you think it's unfair - clearly this guy did not, or was too horny to care. Get someone else to suck your dick, someone who you aren't putting in a position to sue you.

/r/askTRP16/06/14 05:30 AM
2

You completely missed my point. Focusing on everyone's problems is what he's doing when he's criticizing you, instead of him focusing on fixing his own issues. He's not an alpha male by running his mouth about what he thinks other people are doing wrong, if he wants to be an alpha male it starts by getting himself in order - being fit, having a good job, being a provider, etc.
/r/askTRP16/06/14 05:12 AM
3

Exactly. Alpha doesn't mean focus on everyone else's problems and pump up your own ego with bullshit. It means having an ego because you accomplish things within yourself, which it sounds like this guy has not done - an Alpha doesn't work for his wife, take a paycheck from her, and then complain about it.
/r/askTRP15/06/14 06:05 PM
3

Fire him. Whether the relationship continues is a separate issue (it's possible that it can't). But I don't see how this can work when you're actually the alpha provider, and he's apparently incapable of supporting himself without your generosity and leadership. You probably need to find a man who is actually alpha, or who can at least take care of himself independently of being your employee. But first and foremost, it sounds like he is a shitty employee. You probably should address that.

Yes, the Tom Cruise example wasn't so much confrontational as he held his frame, extremely expertly. He didn't get rattled, emotional, excited, raise his voice, or even get embarrassed.
