I used to feel exactly the same way. One of the things that changed for me was that through making myself go to work socials, I realise that there actually were aspects of going out, often on my own, and just sitting in a bar that I enjoyed. And sometimes (not very often) a girl might look at me or talk to me and I realised you don't have to be a certain type of person to just enjoy it now and again.

Sometimes if I'm in a pub and theres young cute women there I'll make eye contact and one of them may say something, but it's quite rare. It's made me realise though that it's helpful to be in the right place with the right state of mind.

I like the idea. I think the key takeaway here for more inexperienced people is once you gain more confidence and experience, you can play around and flirt a bit more. And that makes it more enjoyable for everyone as long as you have some social skills and you're reading the room.

I love the idea of treating it similar to your knife skills, makes a lot of sense.

I think some people confuse valid preferences with something being ethical. At the end of the day life is too short to worry about these things.

Why do you feel that out of curiosity? Is it because you don't approve of fwb situations? Ultimately he's just saying he found someone sexy to be with in a fwb, I don't see how that's toxic If a women said something like this I would have no issue with it, I just wonder what your issue is.

I think theres something about being around unconfident people that makes you feel more confident, just by comparison.

Have more random conversations with random people, like old people. Then men your own age. Then women your own age. Then cute women your old age. This is a really useful tactic not just for flirting but also for public speaking, or practicing speaking.

I feel like you hit on some really important points for people coming from the same place in life. travelling solo and staying in a hostel (even just for a week) forces you to develop some independence and social skills making convos with random people, eventually you realise no one is better than anyone else in this context

Yeah as others have said it's a problem in your head. Basically you need to take away the expectation and make it fun.

Sorry but that's a loser mentality. I'm a tall white man who has Zero success with women including those who were into me, until mid 20s. Imo confidence and conversational skills go further with women.

As others have said it depends but my experience is this: premium is like a cherry on top, first make your profile look good and actively chase people in my experience tinder never goes anywhere, in bumble and hinge theres a lot more people of every variety who are active think about your aim. Eg mine is to meet people, date, have sex, get better with women, generally have an experience. Rather than "I was want to match with a 10 russian model today", it's more holistic.

Even then there are a lot of men who are 6ft, decent build and relatively handsome. I think it makes sense that women will also look at these other cues, or it might give someone a marginal benefit.

Some people don't support men who are learning how to seduce women because they are jaded dicks. The reality is we're all on a journey in life so don't beat yourself up if you aren't as good at something.

Tbh I don't see why people come to this sub and complain about these posts. This post is the whole point of this subreddit imo.

Let's be honest a lot of that is bollocks. I have a decent salary, am 6ft and have been told I'm pretty good looking by women. But I can't talk to women for shit. Everyone has internal battles.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
