Some other commenters have probably said this, but teenage girls are often obsessed with fictional men and celebrities because they are afraid of male sexuality, uncomfortable with exploring their desires in real life, and come from families where dating is shamed. So fantasizing about unattainable men is really their only outlet When I was around 12 I was obsessed with boy bands like One Direction. Now that I’m in my 20s I really don’t see the appeal at all because my tastes have matured lol Th…

You need to develop social skills and become friends with women. Having a well paying job means you have the resources to take someone on dates and experiences, but that doesn’t make you an interesting or exciting person. Read books, go outside, and engage socially. Learn about yourself and develop a personality. Take some blue pill advice

Once you learn how to think critically, you realize that they get all of their facts by purposely misreading research (or using studies that are not peer reviewed or scientifically valid) and then working backwards to support their claims and anecdotes. It’s a movement that comes from a place of hurt, loneliness, and anger, and seems like a desperate attempt at some kind of social revenge. It’s also a movement that relies on people being isolated and chronically online. People with social lives …

I’m a woman in a long term relationship. I think it would be silly to be with someone for years and never cry in front of them. My partner occasionally goes through bouts of depression (sometimes triggered by childhood trauma, loss, or just issues that have come up in life). I never feel like it affects our relationship, and he always pulls himself out of it. But he has cried in front of me several times. I don’t think it’s ever made me feel as though he is less of a man. In fact I’m happy that …

I believe that the red pill has massive appeal because it presents a black and white picture of the world. It offers answers to complex questions about human nature. The problem is that human nature isn’t black and white, and female psychology doesn’t actually fit into a digestible box. It’s the result of huge over-projections made by deeply insecure people. The red pill is essentially the lost leading the lost

I thought of something else that could be valuable: watch some dating advice content that is aimed at women who date men. You’ll realize quickly that toxic people are a threat to both genders, and you’ll learn that men and women struggle VERY similarly in dating dynamics. The manosphere projects the idea that women have it easy in dating and tend to do the bare minimum. But interestingly, the biggest complaint in the female dating advice world is that men do the bare minimum. Women-geared dating…

I’m not going to act like I know everything but I can give you my perspective as a 22 year old woman in a long term relationship. I used to consume (ngl I still do) a lot of red pill content out of curiosity/entertainment, until i realized it was altering the way I viewed the world in a pretty negative way that I don’t even agree with. In the manosphere, a common piece of advice is don’t be nice to women, be an asshole, make sure she knows you have options etc. I don’t think that could be farthe…

Next time, date a woman who has an income! I’m a woman and I was previously dating a man who was unemployed (I was 18/19 and didn’t really know better) and I had very similar feelings to you, but I recognize now it was my fault for putting myself in the position to be taken advantage of financially. By this I mean, no gifts, he ‘borrowed’ money all the time, and still owes me a lot. Now I’m dating a man who makes decent money. He pays for most dates (his choice, he’s traditional minded and belie…

I really don’t think any woman expects a man to be attracted to her degree or career accomplishments though. Women are working out of necessity. While I love my job and it makes me feel important to society, I’d happily choose not to work if my partner had the funds. But that is just not the case. I feel a sense of duty to contribute as much financially to the household as my partner does, especially so we can have the type of future we want. And it has nothing to do with saving up in case the r…

And why does he encourage me to apply to grad school when I wasn’t even initially planning to do so?

in your opinion, why do you think my boyfriend encourages me to ask for raises and congratulate me on my achievements (when i do not draw attention towards them), if he doesnt care about my career? I know that he’s not attracted to my money or aroused by my career. But there is more nuance to this topic

most men don’t make enough money on their own to support a family these days. cost of living is high. i want to live comfortably, that’s all

Not everything a woman does is for attracting a man. Or any partner. My career is for the purpose of being able to contribute to the world. Also, my boyfriend doesn’t make enough money to support us both. So i’m furthering my career so that together we’ll have enough money to have a family and live comfortably

wrong. men cheat all the time despite having a wife who wants sex. For an example men crave variety and get bored of their long term partner

Having a daughter is only cuckoldry if you want to sleep with her. And if you want to sleep with her you shouldn’t be a father to anyone

Why would you be so fixated on your child’s sex life? Raising and nurturing your child doesn’t only benefit their future partners, there is a lot more to life than that. Raising an educated, well rounded person, healthy person is beneficial to society and the person themself

Whenever I hear opinions like these, it makes me wonder how the wife at home is supposed to get her sexual needs met, if the husband is sleeping with the mistress Situations like these are where the pool boy or the gardener trope come from

Work in a bar part-time. I work in a bar and the women (customers) are so horny for the bartenders and will hit on them constantly, even the less attractive guys. And the money is good too

this is so incorrect. Acting this way will not get you into a healthy relationship, you’ll attract deeply codependent partners with little self respect. I left a man who’s behaved this way to be with a kind man who treats me well. And I am way happier and more attracted to him.

I’m a conventionally attractive young woman who has worked low wage jobs since I was 15, and now make good money in the service industry in my 20s. Payed my tuition and living expenses myself (and with loans) and working towards a professional career in the future. First of all, i would be embarrassed to be an adult in my twenties and need the financial support from my parents. I’ve never been treated as a princess and I would find it quite infantilizing if I was. Second, sex work doesn’t appeal…
