No contact is best especially for abusive narcissitic ex's like mine. If there was a requirement for communication like for kids, she'd find a reason to blame things on me. This is something I didn't need so no contact helped regain my self-respect and cleared my head.

Glad it worked out. In my case there definitely is a prenup as there is proof. She can't argue that the dog ate it. As she drew it up.

Yeah the email ironically was from her to me with the prenup attached. The email also contains a history of emails between her and the lawyer who drafted it at the time. So the proof is definitely there. Hope things move justly in my favor.

Thanks for your reply. I have done that and a counterpetition was served. I have: 1) Pictures of signed pages from the prenup with verbiage that states I paid for half and I pay her half of the mortgage. She doesn't know I have it. 2) Soft copy of prenup 3) Email from her with prenup attached. It also contains communication between her and her lawyer regarding the prenup. 4) Bank statement showing $100k I paid for my half of the mortgage. 5) Pics if cheques going back 2 years of monthly payments…

Been married twice. Never thought it would happen the 2nd time around. But nope. Going thru high school and university during the AIDS crisis made me mostly asexual. Also age (almost 60), means a mostly sexless marriage for me. So maybe I'll date but never marry. They all want to blame you for their unhappiness without communicating why. Not worth it financially.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
