I guess I never hear about these guys in the actual court rooms or their legislation actions. I just know of the movements/influences. A lot of these guys I don't truly believe are real grass roots but astroturf. Especially since the corporations seem to move in tandem with them.

The problem is people "just believe" (quotes for emphasis) what is said about people/orgs without going to check them out. And then on top of that we have strawmen constructed to represent those groups to discredit them. It's insidious but you have to put effort in these things unless you're ok with believing lies.
