You're right. "it's not wrong for women to desire companionship" There's nothing wrong with wanting something. We all want things however abstract they are. It's about realistically coming up with a plan to acquire it or behaving in a way that invites it. I've heard so many women say they "deserve to be happy", but deserving something and being able to negotiate for it are two separate things (notwithstanding real happiness is internally generated)

I see this a lot. Men have a problem, and then a commenter insinuates it’s the womens fault the men have that problem. No. Sexlessness in men is on the rise, sure. It’s not womens responsibility to have sex with men they do not choose to. It’s the responsibility of men to grow into people that women want to have sex with. Theoretically, the redpill aims to educate men on the principles of attraction that women seek in their partner. The unfortunate consequence is the discovery that: - there are …

The books I read talk a lot about reported and unreported statistics. Men are far less likely to report depression if they felt it. Men in general probably less likely to go doctors if they have a problem in the first place. Of course this narrative cannot coexist with “Men are just generally happier than women”. One of these statements has to be right

When you consider that there are three types of lovers: avoidant, anxious and secure types. Anxious and avoidant lovers manifest from having dysfunctional families. Secure types are the ideal. Secure people get into and stay in their relationships. Roughly 50% of the population is secure. They’re happy, getting on with their lives and not surfing purplepilldebate trying to understand what afflicts them. Anxious and avoidant types are what’s left. We probably sit on one of these baskets by virtue…

Is it non sequitur? If you have 10 women and 1 man, you can sustain that tribe. If that tribe is invaded by 2+ men, it implies you cannot sustain that tribe.

This sounds like “ we don’t want to” but with more words

And the women want to take nature pictures. Grinds my gears when you kill the momentum like that

That’s the catch isn’t it? All this MGTOW manosphere stuff would be far more effective if every man held the line on it. I’m glad terms like simp are taking off and we can quickly categorise and ostracise those who don’t help hold the line

You getting matches with this bio? As in, has anyone you’ve matched with so far actually used your bio to start a conversation? If so, how did it go?

An odd splinter that I discovered off MGTOW was /r/semenretention. They're a bit more philosophically developed than the lot over at /r/nofap who are only concerned with building streaks, SR does deep dives into the philosophy of the consequences of ejaculating which extends from sex to jerking off. They speak of those who undertake the "divine path" in Hindu culture, people they call "Brahmachariya" There is a pretty old belief that semen retention and the ability to control feral urges lends t…

If you live in the US this is actually a major concern for town and city planners because shopping malls are all closing down due to business moving online. They're exploring ways to fix this but I don't know what they've come up with

It’s cathartic to be in a space where everyone is so charged about the injustices we would quietly and painfully experience by ourselves I may not be angry about it, and I’ve gone past the point of being charged about it, but nothing I’ve ever seen in my life has ever helped me refute the redpill. It’s simply too tight as a theory. From the statistics, predictability in its trends, to my personal experiences; I have far too much to corroborate the doctrines of the red pill

When we picture single women in our heads, I personally think of women wearing tight dresses hanging out in the vip section of night-clubs getting bottle service and free drinks thrown at them I’ve met quite a few single women lately Literally they all work and watch Netflix Work in some office job, watch period dramas on Netflix, get called by their friends to have brunches and lunches in nice restaurants in the city on the weekend. That’s pretty much their personality or what I found anyway If…

I like to think empirically. Cause and effect - “when I do this, then that result should happen”. Bonds are that ethereal aspect of relationships that are so difficult to apply cause and effect principles to. Of the times I’ve been madly in love, I don’t really understand how I got there, or why I got there and that’s pretty frustrating I’ve also had that ripped from under my feet and it’s left me in a pretty dark place. Yes, you are right to say that bonds are important aspects of relationships…

You take a man who is told his entire life to take personal responsibility for his moral values, standards of ethics etc and then you write a statement like “it’s female nature to be hypergamous” There’s around two things you can do here (off the top of my head), but both of them could make you pretty angry. You can reject the statement on female nature. However with an ever increasing body of evidence which supports the statement you’ll be angry about the mismatch there. You can accept the stat…

I hope they all find out what she’s doing. Because removing asymmetry in information is something we all should strive to do and being transparent with one another is the key to having open and honest relationships /s When pressed, I can speak feminist too

You know after a hard day at work, it’d just be really nice to cuddle with her on the sofa and watch some Netflix. “Baby, what shall we eat for dinner? How does quinoa salad and a grilled chicken sound?” “That would be delightful, let’s fix it up I don’t know, it’s the small subtle things. She would remind me that everything I do is worth it for this life we have built together. Do I have to wake up from this dream? I think I do

To construct an intense romance has been far easier to do in real life than online. Literally every woman I’ve ever met that I care to remember I’ve met IRL, the romances on OLD lacked some intensity I can’t explain, and the people sorta drifted away in my mind. The over analysis that we do to one another on OLD destroys the spontaneity and serendipity of meeting IRL.

When you think about it, it’s a Magnus opus to be able to have pulled that off. Imagine you were building a business and you determined your product lacked market fit. When do men do? They change the product, because the alternative is undreamable. What do women do? They change the entire market so their product fits. This runs counter to everything the business studies books have ever told you

Semen retention relies on the same skills as giving up smoking, but it's not addictive in the same way as sugar. When I used to smoke cigarettes, I noticed that my mind would start seducing me and crafting reasons I deserved a smoke. "You worked hard today, it's been a rough week, there's a whole pack of smokes in your drawer and the lighter is beside it" If my friend's were around then I'd have to deal with peer pressure. The best way I have found for getting over nicotine addiction was to stra…

Stop watching emotionally charged shit. If you find yourself getting pissed off by a Reddit post or a YouTube video, odds are it's being positioned that way on purpose. There's an abundance of things out there designed to capture our attention through various mechanics. Scantily clad women on Instagram to get you to click, random gadgets and products, Reddit posts, rage bait and politically charged posts on social media. The internet is one big attention grabbing machine. Beneath layers, there's…

Maybe the dude is going his own way and just wants some actual engineering answers, like the one you gave. It usually crosses my mind to post on this sub first before anywhere else because I believe you can get solid general info on stuff here. Bunch of introspective dudes hanging out together? It's not an easy thing to do that, forgiving oneself. I can stand in front of the mirror, stare into my own eyes and apologise to myself over and over again, but somehow I'm still not absolved of these things that haunt me

But how can I fix this problem? My uncle is dead and my ex is out of my life

There were three people in that dream of note. My Uncle who has passed away, my cousin who I no longer talk to and a significant ex girlfriend. They were all relationships I wish had panned out differently. There's regret in there that ive been dealing with in some way for a long time.

The internet makes people who use it caricatures of their personalities. You take a reasonably well rounded person. This person may care to some extent about their looks, being smart, having good taste etc. Then you give that person the internet. All the roundedness of that person goes out the window and all the characteristics which they care about most become accentuated by the web. Someone who may have liked looking pretty suddenly has a mechanism to express vanity in front of a million peopl…

You're right. Life is too short to care about women. So stop. Stop caring about women. The fact you're writing prose encouraging people to stop caring about women implies that you still do. I understand it may feel cathartic, maybe it's therapeutic but I don't know if it really helps or if it just makes one more obsessed. One cannot stop thinking about pink elephants if there's a post every half hour about "why pink elephants are bad for you" If this sub is to evolve, talk about literally anythi…
