Recently cutoff a friend of 7 years for leading me on, she has histrionic personality disorder and I just couldn't take it anymore. But something weird happened when I cut her off, she rejected me for being short and lowkey I think didnt want to be embarrassed in her friends eyes to be seen with me. But loved my attention, so when I took it away what was previously someone who felt the ick for me and always expected me to be there, she started people pleasing and trying to get my attention again…

Brutal honesty: The spark is someone setting off their attachment trauma. Between a boring dude with a solid whatever and a guy that sets their trauma off, highkey probably emotional invalidation, then they'll choose the latter.

And this is where I think childhood influences come into play. What gets modeled or imprinted. The women in my family always go for Cholos despite knowing they're not good for them. Height doesn't matter to some of them, but its whatever they feel or have a "spark" for. My own modeling does away with nice and warm and care taking feminine qualities, I'm attracted to bitchy and scrawny avoidants that look like Megara from Hercules and it sucks lol.
