It taught me some truths that I still believe to this day but I’ve matured enough to see it’s flaws and to not fall into its sometimes harmful dogma

Honestly I think telling them women will not make them a man will help. Focus on themselves, Hobbies, gym, bonds with girls and guys all the same etc. Would’ve helped me when I was younger.

I’m kind of in a space in my life where I’m sort of seeing the flaws of red pill logic while at the same time recognizing it’s truths. I want to be mentally healthy but not by being naive. As much as I want to throw it all in the trash mentally there are certain things I can’t look over. I’m pretty conflicted but I think it’s a good thing because I’m at least pondering things instead of throwing all opposing ideas one way or the other out the window.

It’s one of those tactics that could easily be labeled as just a reasonable (but strange) thing to do. Bit of overlap between RP and just being straightforward. It’s a blurred line. A lot of this stuff is. Everyone thinks red pill is extreme and harmful while “blue pill” thinking is unreliable and unrealistic. Even some of the post the dismiss both on here still feel slightly wrong in nature on some points occasionally. Dating and relationships has way too many blurred lines and Humans inherentl…

I think you’re exaggerating because obviously it’s possible. Definitely harder, but not impossible.

Yeah that’s why a majority of people flock to it after heartbreak and confusion. Men are way more romantic than society gives them credit for. the bitterness of not getting the stereotypical Disney style romance they thought was real can be damaging. The RP shows them it’s more complicated than that and Ex Red Pill shows them it’s even MORE complicated than that. It’s a weird sensation that I honestly feel these days.

IDEALLY at the start one person shouldn’t be chasing but often usually the guy at the very least lead the interaction. Long story short I’m just saying that the “genuine desire” expectation comes from the exhausting dance of dating from the guys perspective. Yes in a healthy relationship this desire isn’t required but it’s greatly appreciated because of the weight it takes off of ones shoulders. I’m saying it’s not entirely due to some desire to have a woman on her knees thankful to worship the …

That’s not entirely a good reason to generalize. I lurk on here due to depression I went through after years of RP content and I’d like to find a healthy middle ground. but I sometimes feel this sub can inadvertently turn into the same echo chamber it demonize TRP to be. I’m still heavily on the fence about RP thoughts and ExRP views in response but still appreciate a discussion when it’s welcomed. I think you’re spot on about trauma in childhood affecting a need for mutual desire. But at the sa…

A lot of red pill guys would just chalk that up to approaching women being a difficult numbers game in general (which it kind of is). He himself would probably even say that his looks and his perceive wealth due to how he dresses also play a big factor. I’m not trying to throw a wrench into what you’re saying but most coaches avoid talking about success rates as far as approaching goes. They just talk about what works more often than not.

I mean… don’t you think the reason people seek out advice from the internet is because they lack these IRL male figures in the first place? Speaking from experience. the older I get the more I feel just how deep of a empty space not having those figures left me. Filling it alone somehow feels more and less difficult as time goes on. But being an adult means recognizing that it’s my responsibility regardless. it be like that sometimes.

Still don’t think this is the answer. I’m sorry I agree with the post but even this isnt good enough (forgive me did sounding childish). I just don’t think “figure it out bro” is a good response to million of confused men dejected with some on the edge of suicide due to the progressively blurred lines of what it is to be a modern masculine man. The redpill is hurtful of course, and no dogma or labeled group is the answer but surely this sort of issue requires more thought? Not entirely sure what…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
