We would go crazy if we were as insecure as you are supposing! My husband is an airline pilot 😂😂 I promise you that there are good marriages with faithful people 🩷

I'm very happy for you! My husband is an airline pilot, we live very comfortable but waaay distant to 1,8 mi haha however, I'm happy you get time to enjoy life, that's exactly those little things like Pilates, Reading, relaxing that give me joy. I have a 3 year old daughter, she goes to school during the mornings but my afternoons are still very busy hehe I'm happy that us homemakers get to talk about it and be proud of what we do!

All day in school? I'm just curious, because I have my toddler during the afternoon and I feel like I still don't have enough alone time for myself haha

What about the kids? Do they stay with you during the day?

I totally get you, I'm this kind of wife, I'm very sensitive about how people are feeling. He's probably very worried and concerned about not having a job. They feel less of a man if they aren't able to provide for their family, and their immediate response is to shut down and be distant. Now, doesn't he work since november 24? Why is it taking so long to get a job? 1,5 years is too much, he should be working. Or is he working freelance or something while he looks for the job he wants? That woul…

I know, I know how you feel. I had the same issue. But it's done. I'm married, neither my husband was a virgin when we got married, but we both regret that. We weren't converted to our faith when we lost our virginity (before we met). Now, 6 years being married, it doesn't matter anymore, I don't ever think about that anymore. You'll get over it!

I feel the same. I chose to be a housewife and I don't regret it at all! I've been home for 6 years. I used to be a female airline pilot, such a good job, I really enjoyed it but being able to stay home is priceless, specially now being a mom. My husband is an airline pilot as well. Also, you have to be aware that it's difficult to go back to the workforce after being home for so many years, I knew it and I don't intend to go back to work. I hope to raise my daughter, watch her grow, enjoy it as…

Yes, in my opinion it definitely does. Just like being tall doesn't mean he's actually masculine.

I'm sorry, he seems to be addicted to porn. And he's being disrespectful to you during sex. You need to sit down and talk to him about it, and see if he'll respect that. If he continues with the same actions, then I would reevaluate this relationship.

I wouldn't ask it directly. I would analyze whether he's hardworking, if he likes to pay for the dinner when we go out, things like that. My husband is a great provider, but he probably would have been offended if I had asked like that, especially on the first dates.

21 is still young. I met my husband at 22, we got married at 24!

23h? Don't be that available. 24/7 not a good idea. You have to be respected.

Most important: is he willing to forgive you?

Rich men usually want someone that can offer the same intellectual level. My husband, for example, is an airline pilot. He's not exactly rich but we live very comfortable. We met when I was an airline pilot as well. Then we got married and we agreed that I would be a stay at home wife. I've been home for 6 years now. But I know he wouldn't have dated someone without some kind of education, not because of the money, but because of the intellectual level.

Ok, I'm a SAHM to a 3 year old daughter and I KNOW how overwhelming it is. I'm sorry, your husband is completely wrong and selfish. I'll leave you my experience. My husband is terrible at waking up during the night, I also don't like it but I can handle it better. So we agreed that I would be with our daughter during the nights and that's what I did until she finally slept through the night at 2 years old. On the other hand, he entertains and takes our daughter to the playground, swimming pool t…

In my opinion, your behavior is just fine. That's what I expect my daughter to do. I don't want her to let ANYONE mistreat her or do any any harm to her. I want her to be assertive. On the other hand, you should be sweet to people that are sweet to you. You don't have to accept any mistreating by any men (and women). But you should be sweet and gentle to good people. That's it.

I know a traditional woman with the same jaw characteristic and she's happily married to a traditional good man! They have 2 kids. You don't need to wait until your surgery.

Red flag!!! He probably wants you to be his mother. You won't want to be married to someone like this!

Oh ok, so whenever we see an abused woman, should we close our eyes because... it's her decision and we shouldn't say anything about other people's marriages? Ok, if she doesn't WANT to leave after her daughter (or whoever is close to her) warned her and gave her options (like INSTITUTIONS or whatever support groups in the US - I'm not from the US), then ok, there's nothing we can do. But to say that it's wrong to suggest the OP to take her out of the house (WITH OUTSIDE SUPPORT), it doesn't mak…

Right, and because a lot of people are being abused worlwide, should we close our eyes and pretend nothing is going on with our own MOTHER? I'm not saying that the OP is doing that, but it seems that you are suggesting she does. She's 19, she is an adult, not a kid, she is capable and - hopefully willing - to at least search for a support. I don't know how it works to call for help in the US, but I'm sure there's a place or some kind of institution that helps women under abuse/violence.

I get it. But I don't mean that she should take her mom to live with her... I was thinking about some support for abused women. Her mom is being abused. Shouldn't we be worried that a woman is being abused? She might want to get out of that situation but she's trapped due to financial reasons or violence.

Is there any chance you can take your mom out of the house as well? She's not safe, physically or emotionally.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
