I just want a good personality fit for myself. how tall?

what's so hard to understand about that? If I someone said "it's hot outside" and you said "I like tacos." in response, that's basically what you did. Doesn't matter whether anyone likes tacos or not, that's got nothing to do with the weather.

glad its not repellent to them or anyone else. Only ever heard something like that from the occasional online stranger who doesn't like what I said but can't articulate how I was wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 07:13 AM

I didn't either like or not like them. I just found them completely irrelevant to anything being discussed anywhere near here.

with what? you were just yapping.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 06:41 AM

it's not insulting to point out the reality that nothing you said had a thing to do with what I said. I found it weird, and that is what I define as "yapping" saying something for the sake of talking. See how my comment is explanatory and relevant to what you said? You didn't do that. It would be like me commenting my favorite cars in response to what you just said rather than what I did.

observing things without a delusional positive spin to appease others isn't cynicism.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 06:17 AM

No. I never felt like i wasn't enough or like I had to jump through any hoops before being with anyone I've dated. If I'd have felt that way, I'd have not even tried. Meanwhile, we often hear of guys feeling like they never can do enough to be seen as "good" enough to be given a chance in the first place, whether that be for sex or a relationship. So that has nothing to do with whether sex or relationship is the end goal.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 05:18 AM

Why don’t you just ask these women how much they like you instead of jumping to conclusions? ICK! Who asks that? LMAO Also, who is volunteering information like “I slept with this guy in one day, but I’m making you wait”? How do you even learn about this? Long before I had any inclination to date her, unbeknownst to her, I knew the guy through a friend who she sought out, chased, and didn't make wait. Also, one of her friends (a woman) told me some things.

If they were serious, they would seek out job offers that went like "You seem like a special employee so you get the requirements of having to have twice the education as all people who previously held the position. Also, there is a pay cut and no semblance of job security." LOL they're not serious. They just know that simps are that easy to manipulate and desperate.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 04:48 AM

Really? I know plenty of guys in relationships, some married, who never got hookups despite trying for them prior to getting in their relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 04:12 AM
4

Never even occurred to me to attempt such a thing. I never felt as though sex was transactional. If she's into me, she'll want it, if she's not, she wont.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 04:11 AM
2

That is really meaningless... But also weird! Why do you NEED to think otherwise so much? Only you can comprehend why, assuming you are in touch with yourself. But either way, I know myself, Ms. internet stranger. Carry on believing whatever helps you get by.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 04:07 AM
6

Why? I haven't. So why do you think i should? I know women like naive men so I don't let on that i know much IRL maybe that's why I usually do alright, besides being somewhat attractive. It's my theory anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 04:02 AM
1

the difference is my responses ARE relevant to what I'm replying to. "yapping" is when the response is just vague talk for the sake of talking.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 04:01 AM
3

Oh. No. I never even thought of that TBH. I never dated anyone who didn't want to have sex as often as me. Never felt like I had to do anything other than exist in order for that to happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 04:00 AM
3

of course i would LOL because men and women are different and the implications are very different. when a guy wants casual it usually means she isn't up to what he'd prefer to date in terms of looks, but she is just available. OR if she is attractive, she has too many red flags to make a relationship seem feasible. when a women wants casual it's because she finds the guy attractive. that's why non-attractive guys can get into relationships but not get hookups.

Comparison is the thief of joy. then why use what you and your husband did a comparison ?? People who say that ALWAYS turn around and use a comparison to try to prove their point LOL Sure, someone who bought a house where they first had to come up with 500k might think they got great a deal if they never knew about someone who had gotten an identical build one street over for 1/2 as much, but that's irrelevant to the person paying more having to pay more. They didn't get a good deal. The other p…

Women aren't a monolith. I think because we seem incompatible, you cannot imagine that there are women who... wait for it...aren't you I would never date someone if I didn't like them at least a bit more than the average woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 01:58 AM

But she was really hot, just mostly annoying. Call me whatever names you like, IDC. It makes zero sense to forego that before I had someone I actually wanted lined up.

Most men will do or say something within the first 10 minutes of knowing them that gives away whether they meet my standards. bros be yapping way too much IRL fr. I can just imagine. I try to help my friends with that kind of thing but they always say ridiculous things and get ghosted.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 01:53 AM
7

you're yapping. I don't only want sex and have been in relationships, situationships, all of it, and for various reasons lol. I only said it seems like only sex is on the table because that is reality. Especially when a man is self sufficient. And what else isn't "abuse" to even ask for besides sex these days!
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 01:51 AM
4

and in every relationship you felt that you were giving something expecting stuff in return? No. Not at all. I don't mind buying things, and although ive never been with someone who pressured me to buy them things, I did anyway from time to time just to be nice. And what even would I expect in return?? No one's ever bought me something better than what I'd buy myself and I don't rely on others for things like that. So I don't buy things for the reasons you assume.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 01:47 AM
2

I see what you're saying. But if he asks for a hookup, he probably has no desire for more than that either. I was referring to "hookups" that happen when neither party is looking for a hookup, but with a high level of attraction present, sex occurs on the initial meeting. never had one of those kind of hookup not want to pursue things furtber
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 01:42 AM

desperate? LOL is that what women (the people I learned that, always be having backup or wait until you do to make a break) are ?

Been in many. Was never single longer than a few months here and there from age 18 until around 30.

it means that when a woman, through her words and actions, shows that she finds me attractive, that is when I feel she finds me attractive. not just because she says she wants a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 01:36 AM
3

he does but he must first do extra steps to get that relationship. Man 1 gets hookup and if he wants it, a relationship Man 2 gets no hookup and if he wants a relationship he must first prove himself in a way Man 1 isn't required to
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 01:35 AM
2

I think you are confused because you are operating as a man who solely wants sex. Yikes! I want much more than that, but be honest, what else besides sex is even on the table usually? A man that wants a relationship, right, will actually value putting effort in to make things work and will want to spend lots of time with the woman. I agree. You're just deliberately pretending that my awareness of the extra hoops man 2 must jump through PRIOR to getting to be able to put in effort in a relationsh…

correct. what's good for the goose is also good for the gander
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 01:28 AM

I wouldn't even say so. I was far less sincere with the woman who made me wait a long time since I thought the relationship could go at any moment since I thought "clearly, she's just not that into me. maybe she likes my job.." so I dated her, played bf, until someone else came along

/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 01:22 AM

ehh i feel more attractive the more she seems into me. wanting a relationship with me doesn't necessarily make me feel attractive to her at all because women have many reasons for wanting a relationship that have little to do with attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 01:22 AM
2

But it really makes no difference whether she cares about my feelings or not unless I was trying to date her, in which case I would ONLY want to date her if she seemed like she cared. So I don't understand what you're trying to say, or how it has to do with some guys having to do more for the same thing, or even less than someone else. Have another look: Man 1: exists, gets laid with enthusiasm Man 2: exists, (must show indicators of status and fit into certain archetype), gets laid unenthusiast…

But it was 5 yr later. Had nothing to do with her not making me wait. The ex who made me wait a long time, I was just running through the motions with, and eventually left also, but much sooner, so making a guy wait is not what determines his behavior or the longevity of the relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 01:14 AM

Didn't say they do. Man 1: exists, gets laid with enthusiasm Man 2: exists, (must show indicators of status, fit into certain archetype, jump through hoops Man 1 isn't required to), gets laid unenthusiasticly And they was claiming Man 2 should feel more attractive? Just LOL

If anything you should feel more attractive. By that logic, someone should feel like a more valued employee if they had to do more work than typical, but for less pay.

I really don't know where men got the idea that relationship guys are ugly. not ugly, just not attractive enough to sleep with unless he compensates by doing extra things a more attractive guy wouldn't have to. one of my exes was pressuring me to sleep together on the first date, deapite initially saying she was looking for more than just a hookup, so I believed she was very into me and took the relationship seriously another ex made me wait, but I knew she didn't make at least one other guy wai…

Third, fuckboys will be fuckboys becuase it's what works. Every other type of boy out there - like you said yourself - is always lumped into all these categories: creeps, icks, muHsogynators, and raeeeep culturists. So, as a man, in order to get success with women you need to be the one group that is actually getting some pussy and not waste any damned time with any woman drawing out our attention. If it feels like a lot it's because this is the environment women created. Take it up with feminis…

/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/24 04:53 AM

I detect your little womens height complex is showing, sweetie. never text me unless you're at least 5'5 okay ?? im male who values personality
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/24 04:08 AM
3

I enact height requirements for women. Not mere preferences. I'm 6'1. Short queen, you belong to my bros and should not feel entitled to my attention and affection. The woman depicted, at 5'2, is more suitable for 5'3 to 5'9 males so she is not representative of "women" for me. That is just a picture of a woman with bad personaliteehee who should stick to dating males with equally bad personaliteehee.

Instead, society blames figures like Andrew Tate, Jordan Peterson, or Joe Rogan for our struggles, as if a few commentators are puppeteering an entire generation. If society was a person, it would blame a fake doctors' recommendations for the injuries that sent them looking for a doctor in the first place.

As an American, I thank you for proving to me that there are indeed people who haven't un-installed their powers of observation. What a concise way to say what you said. Only thing I'd add is Americans love performative behavior, larping, and fitting in. so being seen uniformly acting like whatever they think an "indvidualistic" person acts like is far more important than actual freedom and the ability for true indivualism to thrive.

I have some friends who are much better looking than me, yet they haven't dated anyone as hot as some of my exes. I think it's because they know the women a bit less attractive will outright worship them, like they can do no wrong, and they get addicted to that level of treatment.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/24 05:03 AM

Men rage at women for threatening to not sleep with them anymore meanwhile I'm just like "Why are you guys complaining? You clearly don't have any actual experience with women to begin with. Didn't get any dates until I hit a growth spurt. And most women I've dated have been at best neutral about my skills (usually they don't like how often/long I practice and write since it cuts into time that could be spent running the streets or sitting beside them while they scroll on their phone LOL) because skills are not something that factors into sexual attraction.
