So What Have Yall Done?on an interview Mary P Koss did in 1993 That was a paper in a journal ffs. I have found no evidence that the FBI changed their definition of rape based on an interview Mary P Koss The FBI's page on sexual violence and the NCVS page on rape and sexual violence literally cites all of her sexual violence papers... She literally made the modern survey on sexual violence but I guess you didn't read her Wikipedia much. In 2007, a team of nine prominent researchers in the field published the revised Se… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 19/03/26 07:16 AM
So What Have Yall Done?Koss did not "come up" with that definition. This was over 30 years ago, the laws and view of rape was already male-centric. A man being forced to penetrate a woman did not meet the technical definition of rape back then. No this is clearly false, the FBI actually updated their definition of rape to be based on her own. I suggest you look into this. It doesn't seem she even disregarded male victims existed She rejected male and female victims of women, and under her definition a woman was unable… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 18/03/26 03:51 PM
So What Have Yall Done? For mentioning the woman academic who specifically came up with a male centric definition of rape to exclude female perpetrators. Mary P Koss. Who BTW is still employed in academia with no issues on her record. When "made to penetrate" is included as a group of rape victims, male victims of women make up 20-40% of total victims of rape. This is something I have personally experienced and let me tell you, for all the jokes, men say about male victims such as, "nice, you got laid". Men haven't rea… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 17/03/26 08:44 PM
So What Have Yall Done?Because I lost a bunch of female friends over the fact that I got raped by a woman while I was blackout drunk in college. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 28/01/26 12:53 AM
Misandry and anti-masculinity in queer and trans spacesYou don't get to decide if I, as someone with Autism, have a right to exist. I literally never said anything like this, and people with Autism, and mental illnesses absolutely deserve help even if that isn't always medication. For PTSD, I'm a big fan of the eye movement and psychedelic treatments in clinical settings. My last roommate was addicted to Kratom, an Alcoholic, on Wellbutrin, an Anti Anxiety benzo, as well as additional medication for Tourette's and ADHD medication. He was violent, he… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 07/01/26 04:18 AM
Misandry and anti-masculinity in queer and trans spacesI agree with basically everything you said, but I still think people are overly medicated. Not for what you mentioned, but for depression and Anxiety, most of the meds are literally not meant to be mixed with other drugs or for long term use. Yet they so frequently are. Those specifically should be crutches for short term use paired with therapy in order to develop better coping mechanisms. So many people nowadays feel a little bit of anxiety but have no coping mechanisms to the point they have … | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 31/12/25 06:41 AM
So What Have Yall Done? How would you advocate for a group that if you publicly do so will cost you your job, potentially female friends, and put your loved ones at risk? | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 20/12/25 06:40 AM
