| 1 | Why I hate the term "male gaze": yet another example of how feminism perpetuates selectively conservative ideas like "traditional female gender norms = bad, traditional male gender norms = good".I always thought it relied on stereotypical body types (woman with thin waist but large boobs/butt or male with huge muscular arms and six pack (female gaze example)) and fanatical/overused tropes and objectification, more than just simply wanting to see a beautiful woman/person.
