Your notion of relationship phases is curious. Are they colour coded for some people to easier understand? Jesting aside, it's such a strange concept of a relationship. Do all relationships contain such distinct stages? How can anyone buy an abstract concept like 'women's attraction ' anyway?

Once doing nothing is more valued than acting on impulse, it becomes the opposite. 😎

I don't get this logic . This using the idea of sacrifice as some sort of aspect of psychological power play. Some men fulfil their desire by going the extra mile. Whether it is unwarranted or not is entirely his business and his self respect. Dude gives gifts, world doesn't end. What do we do next? Let's post on Reddit.

Good observations. One method I have liked is to offer the girl choices of say, a Saturday or Sunday meet. They get to pick one and it just feels more like making a natural arrangement instead of manly supplication !

Certainly one method that requires less effort is to develop an interest in fashion. There is an endless supply of free inspiration online. Clothes maketh the man of course.

I think the self empowerment message is very fashionable right now. Even post a global pandemic. Its weird. Like we should be copying some 2 million subscriber YouTube video philosophy about self improvement. Hello, circumstances vary.

Sometimes what we say we want isn't what we want. Like those who say they really want a relationship and then their next sentence goes, "but, I think I ll just get another cat".

Improving oneself isnt a responsibility. Its a bone that a man can chew on the rest of his life. It may be possible but desirable?

Women aren't interested in men. Sure they get with men. But women have got it going on for a whole lot of stuff before men are really of interest.

I love the certainty of this comment. Its really a fine thing to behold. The error game. Environmental factors eg staggering male to female ratios? How about the compound effect of demoralising experiences? It isn't the lack of sympathy, it's the lack of reflection to actual circumstances that creates your comment.

I don't understand making pronouncements on the market as a whole. Its kinda vain. So some men and some women have strong preferences? Well that's their deal to relax. Having a delusion just means you get left alone with it.

The ability to make others laugh is shared by most human beings. One wonders exactly where the "distinctive character" can be found if the emphasis is always placed on the most common characteristics or qualities ?

I'm questioning this. Is attraction a thing? I have seen it said that the decision whether to sleep with someone takes just 4 seconds. So for me, it's a rapid mental calculation that can take by surprise. Simple example, gaining a strong interest in someone "not normally one's type".

Your focus, your choice. Dwell on blame, or concern yourself with constructive choices.

The cult of personality ? "Someone to make me laugh" ad nauseum. Its mind numbing. Are we personality machines?

You are not the market. I think frequently feelings and factors aside from immediate experience contrive to unbalance thinking on this subject. Some women genuinely prefer another guy for reasons beyond what kind of looks he got. Most women wouldn't look at me twice but, I have been rejected for other reasons, my behaviour for example.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
