Frozen chicken chordonbleu from Sam’s club, pot pies, roasts in crock pot (pulled pork, beef stew). Get a sams membership, you can meal replace with protein drinks, get Hawaiian rolls make sandwiches from the crock pot drinks and lunch meat. Triple zero yogurts in bulk, and a ninja creami to learn to make your own protein ice cream (you can have it for dinner pre made, and it’s healthy)

It feels like any suggestion is met with suspicion and good will is gone. Maybe it’s part of the natural process of ending the relationship. Too bad the shared resources get sunk with it.

I’m in a similar boat. It felt like I was making negotiations for two people and in the end I was the only one compromising

Doesn’t sound like she’s very functional. Let the legal process do the work because she can’t. Negotiations sound like the worse of two evils, just let the judge decide.

I feel like she’s swimming in guilt and can’t think clearly. Maybe slow the process down and involve professionals

Go for 50/50. Get it in writing now. Things can devolve quickly so don’t count on “I suspect I could get more time if I asked”. She’s probably feeling guilty and generous now. The best offers are up front and they tend to get worse as time goes on. Just my opinion, not and expert

I’m to that point now. I tried being cordial and amicable to do mediation but she has shown her cards that in order to mediate she wants more than she’d get through the process.

How were you able to claim one of your kids? I doubt she’d let me

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
