Amen. I've had similar experiences - I would go out with a pickme friend and she ALWAYS got hit on, sometimes multiple times while I was ignored. I came to believe I was the "ugly friend" and started drinking more and lowering my standards out of insecurity. And yes, I did get hit on more lol but only by LV losers I couldn't maintain any interest in. No dates or sex for over a year now, and I honestly have better self-esteem as a result.

Ok, I knew I couldn't be the only one! I've posted on dating advice forums, and I always get the guys jumping in saying that men go for women in their league, so if I'm getting unattractive men, it must be because I'm unattractive myself. However, dating sites have proven this to be untrue because men almost always target younger and hotter.

But unfortunately, once you're over 30 the 50+ crowd swarms in.

👏 ! This! Idk how many times I've heard/read comments from men about how OLD is so unfair and hard for them and women "have it so easy," "just do it for the attention," "only shoot for the top 20% of men," etc etc. And I always want to jump in and say "for SEX only!" That is the only way women have it easier online - if we are looking for NSA sex and nothing else. I'm an average looking woman, I gave OLD a good try off and on for years. I would message men "in my league," and quite frankly below…

What about younger men? I prefer them actually. ;)

Yeah that comment was not helpful. Work on yourself by building confidence, that is what girls find attractive (I'm a girl BTW). Not PUA tactics (they may work to help you get laid but for anything longer term a smart woman will catch on eventually). I also have low confidence and therefore attract low confidence men I don't in turn find attractive. I've been reading FDS stuff and despite the bad rap it gets from men it's been very helpful. I've gotten advice from them (and I think it applies to…

If you changed in an authentic way and started taking better care of yourself, that's good. I think OP is talking about not playing manipulation games or being fake.

I've had arguments with female friends over the intentions of their male "friends." They are in denial that 90% of these guys are around because they want to sleep with them, or are exes hoping to ease into a FWB situation. My gfs insist they can be "just friends" with all these guys. The ONLY ex I have been able to remain friends with I'm pretty sure is asexual. Like, he just seemed to have no sexual interest in me and I eventually broke up with him over it, but he is actually the sweetest pers…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
