Truly horrible advice given in these comments if you are trying to to save your marriage. I would advise that you do not leave the house unless you have concrete evidence of cheating. That is the one mistake I made that I wish I could do over. Once you're out of the house and she gets to live on her own and start possibly doing better, it will be nearly impossible to reconcile.

It's crazy how clear it can all be in the rearview mirror. I have experienced the same. But while we are in it day in and day out, we can't really see how things really are and what we should do immediately to help change the trajectory of the failing marriage. It's a good post you made and hopefully can help somebody self-reflect and make changes before it's too late. Unfortunately, if someone is reading this forum, it may well be too late.

Once I started doing the things in this video, things started to change between my wife and I for the better. Still a work in progress and in intense therapy together but in a much better place.

Some of it was and some of it wasn't. But rather than try to defend myself or question the inaccurate stuff I chose to just take it and it made a difference it seems.

So sorry, man. Been there and it hurts. One thing that happened with my angry daughter was that she wrote me a letter and absolutely ripped me a new one (several new ones). Then, she disowned me and told me not to respond and give her space. So I respected her wishes and did exactly that. Fast forward, 3 years later (now) and we have never been so close. I just let her rage at me and then let her go do what she needed to do and then little by little she started contacting me again and it was ama…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
