Nah I've been on this sub since I was eleven, most of the time I just lurked. I used my brother's account until I was old enough to make my own (13)

I feel like a lot of the men on this sub have a what I say goes mindset, especially OP. Like, I'm willing to hear you out, but whatever I say to you is BS. They aren't willing to see, and willingly choose to ignore the suffering about them. And when people, mostly women come forward about it they disregard you completely. And I know for sure I'm gonna get downvoted, just for saying this instead of people just taking the time to discuss it with me, because they can't handle me being able to speak…

ah. I do see your point. The reason I feared a negative reaction is because people on this sub tend to be a bit 😬- you're different tho! Thanks for sharing your pov

I didn't expect a positive reaction, but yes, I'd like to know!

That's not really true. Maybe in SOME parts of the western world. disclaimer: not denying mens struggles. just saying. if you want me to list some examples feel welcome to ask 😊

Brother, we are talking about experiences regarding sexual harassment. And our sisters experiences. The statistic is definitely not 7.2%, sorry.

So women aren't disadvantaged at all?

the fact you're getting downvotes for saying that is annoying. You have my upvote

Politely as possible- the 7.2% is bs. All of my female friends including me have faced SH, some of us multiple times. A lot of women have trouble coming forward about it (myself included, I've only told three people) which may skew the statistics. All the others seem pretty reasonable though.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
