YES YES YES. It’s my biggest fear. You get fat, have stretch marks, look drained, no man really wants a woman who’s got kids I’d rather look skinny

Monogamy is super important to me so personally I make them wait. - and those men who stick around I would call ‘husband material’. You seem really open minded in talking to you now but some of your answers here don’t quite make sense?

You’re asking me a closed question, I’ve observed you people very well. If I tell you made him wait for sex: you’re going to tell me that’s what men don’t want and that’s why I’m single bc it’s my own fault. If I tell you I bust it open: you’re going to tell me I’m a slut, that’s why I’m single and it’s my own fault.

Idk if you’re open minded enough to realise but: There are humans out there who prefer monogamous relationships (that includes men too) shock horror!

So many dumbasses here!!! I THIS IS WHAT I MEAN WHEN I CALL A MAN ‘HUSBAND MATERIAL’: No you dumbass, it means you’re not an ahole Chad you will use our bodies as a disposable item and then run off into the subset. When I call you husband material, I’m telling you I think you’re someone genuine who really cares about the finer things in life like feelings and emotions and quality time with someone, growing old together.

Our parents passed down their issues to a generation who now refuses to pass down theirs. Who also want to enjoy youth, as opposed to just being baby making machines.

Yes, Because people wake up and realise there’s more to life than having a finance draining, mental health straining, sleep depriving crotch goblin. I’d rather be young and selfish, spend my hard earned money on who earned it: myself. NOT not some incompetent, slavering humanoid who appreciates none of it. Thirdly, I have a ton of trauma which, unlike my parents - I refuse to hand down to another generation.

This social ideology is also how I needed up with anorexia at 25. Comparing myself to/wanting to be/told I should be like skinny teens because that’s ‘attractive’ and ‘what men want’

We not going to talk about how insane men get when they get turned down? When they see women go for alpha males and not them?

I don’t know what type of women yall have hanging around with but this isn’t a general conversation for anyone I know. If they’re pissy it’s generally because they got cheated on - which is valid. Cheaters are scum.

I don’t understand why the whole ‘wanna be young’ thing only seems to apply to women when yall men end up going bawled at 25 and pile on the pounds. Same applies for older women dating younger men, because men, just as women don’t age well. The AVERAGE (not famous) 40 year old man really isn’t a looker at all. I don’t think older women get hurt because of the specific fact their significant other is dating a younger person, it’s because their cheating and that hurts like a b*tch. There are so ma…

This is why I break the mould by being mildly autistic,ADHD female who masks party girls looks so I fit in but only date nerds because were equals personality wise. Being weird is fun...but lonely.

No, in fact one of the reasons I found my boyfriend attractive was because he’d only had one sexual partner (as do I) so we’re both on a similar page. I feel safer with him that way, less ex’s = less drama, less competition. He’s mine.

And now I’m faced with being told that by my mid 20s I should know who I am, be married with kids and have a ton of life experiences, have traveled and done a whole load of run daring things.

I felt this one in my soul. I really feel this. As someone who started battling mental illness from the age of 7, I don’t really remember my teens, much of it was a really grim blur. I feel like I’ve woken up in my 20s, the first crucial 20 years of my life have been stolen from me and I never got to do all the things average people got to.

I mean definitely! I think to fall in love with someone, to a degree I must find them sexually appealing. My ex (I was with him for 7 years since highschool). I was a naïve teen who went to an all girls catholic school, so growing up when I came to ‘getting a boyfriend’ the only comparison I had regarding how to behave was from awful 2000’s movies (basically sit there, act like you have no braincell and giggle). Didn’t help I was shy af too! The guy I’m with now (we’ve been dating for a year) I …

Apologies for the grammar! It’s way past my bed time 😅 Thank you for that! It’s really interesting to see things from the side of those who have dabbled in hookups and maybe don’t so much anymore. Wow! That’s an interesting lifestyle! How do you find the women you meet deal with this? Do you find they get attached rally easy? As I know women are a lot more emotion driven- it can be harder for us to not feel that way?

Really apologise for the awful grammar! I was supposed to say ‘by hookup culture’ NOT ‘my hookup culture’ 🤣

That’s interesting! From my observations, looking at the lives my friends have who have hookups, it does seem that way. I think women are wired a to be more emotional creatures, so for us it’s kind of playing with fire. Some women love it, but I see it causing a lot of issues the few of us. Guys on the other hand, I have yet to meet a guy who got attached after a hookup lol!

Yeah. That being said, maybe I need to widen my social circle. The girls are lovely, they never ever pressure me into doing anything. We’ve all been friends for 8 years so we know eachother well. The judgment and shock tends to be from people who I come across, new people e.g.

I really need to do more research into this! It definitely seems to suit me! I’m completely ‘turned off’ at hooking up with someone I have no emotional connection to... And I know this from spontaneous acts of affection shown towards me from guys in my teens e.g if they put their arms around me or pulled in to kiss me - I’d pull away and get the shivers. Taking this into consideration, here’s an example of how I know I would behave given an opportunity to have a ‘hookup’ with a guy in a club I f…

I mean, come on... are ya’ll going to act like there isn’t a push for hookup culture? I’ve been greeted with hostility and looked at like I’m some foreign object, asked ‘but..why?’ Simply because I exclaim I’m not about that life. It’s either that or ‘yeah..I don’t believe you’.

WOAH! Hold up! This is me. Same here! All girls pre school and highschool. My parents really did the most to ensure I was not around the opposite sex. All that upbringing did was make me incredibly naïve and I still feel like I’m lacking Years behind socially in comparison to people my age sometimes. Coming from such a mollycoddled upbringing. I think university at age 21 really brought real world into my life- and I’m quite thankful for it! I’d have been really stuck in my ways and quick a clos…

Meh, as a bisexual woman? I think it’s all down to the individual. What makes you lust for or alternatively hate for may be different in every man you talk to. Also, ‘fat’ is a pretty much a blanket term. I got called fat by a guy when I was 130lbs. Everyone seems to waver what they feel qualifies as ‘fat’. Not to mention some guys are hella into it? The whole BBW thing. Some guys will tell you they like a girl with ‘some junk in the trunk’ or ‘meat on her bones’ Yeah it’s a tough one I think. P…
