| – | A man's personality is not important and is way down on the list behind looks, status, money. What makes you say that? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/04/24 11:15 AM |
| – | A man's personality is not important and is way down on the list behind looks, status, money.I don't personally believe in the friend zone. But, beliefs aside, naturally looks do function into attraction for most, but primary reason for rejection? I'm not sure about that. What people are attracted to and what other traits they preference will vary, even 'average looks' for example may not be average to another. Just like you may be rejected for looks, you may be rejected for personality and or other reasons. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/04/24 11:12 AM |
| – | A man's personality is not important and is way down on the list behind looks, status, money.Every time I see these kinds of posts I wonder what type of women ya'll are meeting. Sorry to hear you have that kind of impression. End of the day, there might be some trends here and there, but women are not a monolith. Same with men. There will be some women who prefer Guy A, some will prefer Guy B. I don't personally want to date someone just so I can "show them off", that's a whole person there and I would hope a relationship would have more substance than that. When I was younger, I defini… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/04/24 10:15 AM |
| 9 | How bad are huble Jobs in the eyes of women? ( Ex. Garbage men)I don't think it's limited to gender. I think a lot of people tend to look down on others who do that kind of work that people view as unpleasant, unfortunately (same extends to other essential work). I also don't believe it's common knowledge that it's a well-paying job. It's a good job, and it's honestly great that you can get a well-paying job that doesn't require a degree and/or hard to obtain skills. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/04/24 03:48 PM |
| 1 | Is the real threat to women in the dating market the trauma dumping AI?I also share concerns about how AI use will look in the future, and I hope some form of legal guidelines will be implemented to circumvent that. Edit: point clarification | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/04/24 11:21 AM |
| 1 | Low expectations, high effort?I think that it's great that you are focusing on progress rather than the end result. In my opinion, the best thing is intrinsic motivation and having realistic goals. Far better to do something for your own sake or passions. It should also not be unreasonable and cause frustration, even if it's the matter of meeting smaller goals in between. Not that is unreasonable to want this; but, if someone was motivated purely extrinsically (e.g, they want praise), I personally think you are just risking … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/04/24 11:04 AM |
| 16 | Is the real threat to women in the dating market the trauma dumping AI?I have trouble reading tone, so forgive me if the last part was meant as a joke. But no, I'm not worried, you should not be dating someone purely to use them as emotional support. So, if this becomes a question of 'replacing women' then there's a far larger problem. I'm always fine with people seeking (healthy) ways to better their mental health. My only concern is that I would question the quality of the advice the AI might be giving. I would also hope that this maybe could function as a steppi… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/04/24 02:02 AM |
