For me the false allegations thing is a huge reason to wipe my hands clean of women altogether. Look how easy it is for them to get pissed off and just make something up, and we're found guilty instantly. Even if we prove we're innocent, there is no punishment for the woman who lied, and we're still looked at as creeps even though we proved we didn't do anything wrong. Not worth it at all in my mind.

Do you call women hateful when they decide to do their own thing and not date? Or does that make them strong independent warriors? haha some dudes, myself included, have just been there and done that, and are on to more important things. Nobody is stopping you from getting into relationships, why is it such a crazy thought to want to do our own thing?

So many people are still brainwashed to think that every man needs a woman, and it's just simply not true. I find women to be the worst for trying to set me up, and then they're somehow shocked after I say not interested to the millionth attempt haha take a hint already like the men I know.

I've been divorced 4 years now, had a super easy divorce with little to split up between us. I slept around and dated lots shortly after, and got that out of my system. Now I'm honestly content to do my own thing and not even give women the time of day. I sometimes get in that 'find a woman' mode, but once I do hang out with one, I almost immediately want nothing to do with them. If someone said I could choose between sex and a good morning of fishing, I'd take fishing 10/10 now haha. I have big…

So about 6 months before our inevitable divorce, my now ex wife wanted an open marriage. I went along with it, basically as a way to be away from each other while I planned my exit strategy. The day she asked for that was the day I lost any shred of respect I had left for her. She ended up moving straight into this other guy's place the second we separated, which at the time was gut wrenching, but that feeling didn't last, because I realized she wasn't worth fighting for. If she was so quick to …

I think a very small percentage of people are truly happy being married. My parents for example were very happy together for decades, travelled together, played sports together, did everything together, and were genuinely happy before my dad passed. So it's possible, just very VERY rare. A lot of people, myself included and it sounds like you too, are just designed for being single. I got married young thinking that it was the thing to do and everyone enjoyed it so much, and ended up miserable. …

In my opinion, it's only up to you to decide when to tell others, and how to tell them. As far as their reactions go, it's really not up to them how you go about your personal life, yet people like to try and tell you how you should have done things differently. Perfect example was a girl I dated for about a year, a little while after my divorce. Things were going great, she was incredible and I liked her a lot, we had a great time together and I had brought her around to meet all my friends and…

Women have mastered the art of being the victim in every scenario. Especially when accountability for their actions comes their way. The sad pouty puppy dog look to get their way is a perfect example of playing the poor me card to get anything they want. Then people wonder why some guys just check out completely from dating and do their own thing.

This becomes evident the moment something happens to you and she needs to use her income to pay for things for a while. I was married for 5 years, together for 9. She never had a problem going overboard on spending on unnecessary shit when using my money, and said shit would automatically become HER shit. In the last year we were together I had a spine injury, and could hardly walk or get out of bed, so it came time for her to pick up the tab for everything I used to. The first time she went and…

I have married buddies like that too and it's painful to watch sometimes. I hardly ever ask them if they want to go fishing anymore because I know they'll have some sort of time limit or restrictions on what time they can go based on their wives needs. The worst for me is when their excuse is something so little and stupid that the wife could absolutely do themselves but they want to control him. "Hey you free this morning for a couple hours for some fishing?" "Sorry man, my wife needs me to hel…

I always hated the whole 'my wife LET me do this or that', what are we fucking toddlers asking permission to do shit with our friends or have one room of the house for ourselves?? That right there just spells out clearly how selfish women truly are.

Next time you hear a woman say happy wife happy life, say "what about happy spouse, happy house? Shouldn't both people be happy?" and watch them either scramble because nobody has ever suggested their husband deserves respect, or she'll go full bitch mode and say that she deserves to be treated like a queen just for having a vagina. Haha I've told multiple people that phrase alone keeps me single, among a huge list of other reasons.

Trust me brother, you don't need that shit. Imagine how much better you would feel if you didn't have her nasty words looming over your head constantly, always trying to please her and devoting all your resources to making her happy. Maybe it's time to make YOU happy for once. People don't change, even when you 'work things out', that only makes things better for a little while before going right back to where you were. I can't tell you what to do, but from my own experience, there is no more li…

It's made out to be such a normal behavior to just walk all over men, and once you really think about it, it's pretty fucked up. To talk to another human the way a lot of women do is just astounding to me. Like when they say they're training us, good boy you're learning! And yeah, the whole hers and hers closet nonsense. Just think about the phrases we hear as married men. You get in trouble you're in the 'dog house' and you sleep on the couch. Happy wife happy life, cause that doesn't sound lik…

To me, the idea of MGTOW is just that, going our own way, taking the high road and showing others that we can be more than happy on our own. It's tough to not get dragged into the debates, clearly I haven't mastered the art yet as I was pissed off at a fuckin Mcdonalds commercial haha. But the more I focus on myself and work on keeping my nose out of these topics, the better life seems to be!

Another reason I'm making a shift in life away from tv and social media, it's just not worth getting wound up about when I can be focusing on self improvement instead. A couple subs on here are my only social media presence, and honestly I'm considering not even owning a tv for the amount I watch anymore. The news is all woke nonsense now, and advertising is no different. Like you say, none of it is by chance.

Nice, dude! Have fun! I've never been to a flyers game yet, but some day I'll make it out to a game. I live in Canada, so I would stand out like a sore thumb at a game wearing orange haha! Enjoy the game!

Haha I knew that part of my post would bring some pens fans and most likely leafs fans out! Not often I stumble upon fellow flyers fans lol.

Then they wonder why MGTOW exists and why dudes just aren't buying into that shit anymore. Well, when you can go out with a sign that says "all men suck, kill all men" and be celebrated, while being berated and shut down and cancelled if you even mention wanting to be respected as well as a man, it's no wonder guys don't want any part of it. Best to focus on ourselves and ignore women. Much more peaceful that way.

You hit the nail on the head! I remember being miserable and feeling so low about myself, until I went off on my own and stopped playing that game altogether. I specifically remember the moment that switch flipped and I realized that I don't need to take this shit and I started my exit strategy immediately. Best decision I ever made, hands down.

There's some very solid advice in all these comments, I'd be reading them all carefully and taking notes from this sub from others who have gone through it! Best to take a calculated approach, and think of everything before you do it. It's a lot easier since you don't have kids, I think that's where it usually gets messiest. Life is too short to be stuck with someone you can't stand. I got out and will never fall into that trap ever again! I was miserable with her and now I'm happy as can be doi…

This is damn good advice right here! I never had kids and had a relatively straight forward divorce, but she toodled off with another guy when I had my spine injury and left me in the dust, and it took a couple years, but building this exact approach and mindset has been insanely beneficial to me. Focus on yourself, and take the high road as much as you can and it will definitely pay off. She sounds like a miserable bundle of attitude, and those people usually only dig themselves into shitty hol…

I had a similar start to the dating world, only I met her in last year of high school. No experience dating, no idea what the hell I was doing, and a virgin. We dated for 9 years total and were married for 5. She turned every interest I ever had and changed it to what she liked. She made me feel like everything that was wrong was my fault, and treated me like a doormat. Women always want to change us completely to be the men they want, while we're supposed to love them for who they are, no quest…

There are endless amounts of stories like yours, yet women are constantly going on about deadbeat dads who aren't in the picture or don't want anything to do with them... yet when men are good fathers like yourself who care about their kids and want to spend as much time with them as they can, women take that away to inflict pain on men. Then somehow society wonders why men stop signing up for this shit. I really hope this all works out for you, and when they're older they decide to come live wi…

I would be piecing together an exit plan. Look at how you helped her through school, and spoiled her with vacations, and she has zero appreciation at all. She doesn't even want to keep the dog she knows for a fact you love. All the sacrifices you've made for her add up to nothing in her mind. My divorce was straight forward, since we didn't have anything major to split, so I don't have much for advice on this. All I can say is I had my divorce at the exact same age, and at 31 now and happily sin…

I was just thinking the same thing with the metal detectors. People seriously wonder why men snap one day and go over the edge. It's like pushing someone closer to a cliff edge with your eyes closed, then wondering how the fuck they could have fallen off the edge... then blaming him for falling off the cliff.

I have zero experience with this, as I never had kids, but just picture if the roles were reversed. If you wandered off with another woman for months, then blamed it on mental illness, then called her relentlessly trying to force your friendship on her. You would have a restraining order so fast, and would be accused of harassment every time you called. I'm not saying do that to her by any means, but maybe she needs to be made aware that this is just unacceptable, and you'll make an effort for t…

I have one buddy who got me to build something for him, and I asked him what colour he wanted, and his exact answer was "I'll ask the wife, I'm not allowed to pick any colour of anything in our house"... Not allowed... Like a fucking child.

Also heard a lot of stories about this happening, then once the dude has gotten through their injury/illness and is back on track doing better than before, the ex wife wants back on board. Not a chance. It's like the little red hen story, nobody wants to help make the bread but everyone wants to eat it. I went through 3 years of non stop agonizing pain, and the last 2 years of brutal workouts and making sweeping lifestyle changes like quitting drinking, smoking, and eating healthier. I plan on r…

Haha the term happy wife, happy life speaks volumes to what you're signing up for with marriage. Why not happy spouse, happy house? Oh because that would involve women giving up things they want in order to make someone else happy...

The two things I'll never sacrifice again are my workouts and my fishing. Anyone who wants to get in the way of either of those can step aside and be left in the dust.

a) being single means the opportunity for different women and different vaginas! I currently have a friend with benefits, who I fool around with once in a while, but the second she gets to where she wants to go for dinner or spend a weekend, forget my number. I've been with all kinds of women since my divorce and the variety has been delightful. b) you're assuming that she will be there for you when you're sick or need help after a surgery. I herniated my L4 L5 in 2016, pretty much taking away m…

I was married for 5 years, and with her for 9, and the majority of the things we did were her ideas and her hobbies. She would get mad at me for not taking more interest in her hobbies, and tell me I spent too much time on mine. I dated a lot right after we separated/divorced, and every woman I met was the exact same. I'd be fishing, and get numerous texts wanting attention or asking when I was coming home. I've been single 3 or 4 years now, and the idea of staying single for life sounds incredi…

Easy lol I just straight up told everyone in my life I have zero interest in dating, end of story. If someone still brings it up I cut them off with a swift no thank you, not interested. Or if they bring up dating I ask them why they don't divorce their spouse and spend their life having fun with their hobbies like me haha.
