Woman here, you can let your x know that you will not speak with him and only her regarding communication about the children. If you hit him, he is going to be a little b and press charges against you. If she gives you shit, then instead of spending money on a defense attorney spend your money on a family attorney to help her understand the seriousness of the situation. The courts can make neutral pick up and drop off arrangements so you don’t have to deal with him. My sister did that with her x…

I’m a woman, my soon to be x husband did this to me in the last couple of years but if I didn’t do it he would still gas lit me. Hence the divorce. Sorry you went through that, it sucks. You are way better off without her.

Actually I didn’t, I was trying to be fair and wanting to split everything 50/50. We don’t own a house so that wasn’t an issue but he took 80% of the savings because I am the breadwinner. I was literally so stupid and naïve thinking he would be a mature adult. Lesson learned but I am still less stressed and so much happier without him so I guess it’s worth it.

Now that’s funny. I am laughing so hard I am crying. I am going through a divorce and he was the one that became disinterested in being a partner but wanted a mommy/maid instead. No he was not liked this when we got married. He was a very efficient and self-reliant man who was a great partner. As the years passed he would slowly stop doing things and I would have to pick up the slack. I thought he was going through something so I stepped up and picked up the slack. Over the years I would ask for…

I’m a woman. In our 20s we are very hormone based and think little about the importance of compatibility and what we really want in a partner. You are older now and have been through a long marriage that end in divorce. Yes you want to be intimate at some point but since you just got back out there you are being more selective. This is a good thing. Now you get to enjoy the process instead of racing to the finish line. As for the other men, I am sorry you had horrible experiences with the woman …

I’m female and I don’t agree that most men will sleep with most women. I think most men have standards just like women and just like women there is a small percentage with low standards that give all a bad reputation. I do think you are more than willing to joke around about not having standards but from the men I know they have pretty normal to high standards .

My mom taught us your x is your x for a reason. Naturally as time passes most people forget the bad times and only remember the good times. You need to think about all the bad times and what made you break up in the first place. Remember if you were meant to be together, you would never had broken up. She also said if you keep trying to live in your past then you’re never going to have the future you deserve. Stay strong and keep it moving forward.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
