The problem with Circe's part of the story is that we couldn't even tell she was goddess until I searched about it unlike other gods/goddess or demigods like Athena and Polyphemus. Funnily enough the term "Incel" is actually gender neutral and was coined by a woman. People use the term "Femcels" because lately the term "Incels" is getting associated with only men so the women counterpart is the term "Femcels".

What I found interesting is anything with male conotation gets defined as negative like male gaze whereas anything with female conotation gets defined a positive like female gaze. Like does anyone else notice this or am I just crazy.

Did you watch the film, Ryan's character was only forced to get on the mission because the original crew died in an accident and they didn't have enough time to train new people to go on the mission. And its not like he was sent alone, he had 2 other companions but they died on the way leaving him stranded in the middle of space.

The fact that the word "Incel" originally meant for both genders but now is used to address mentioned is ironic. But the biggest irony is that a woman was the person who coined the term of "Incel" and now it's exclusive for addressing men, the term "Femcel" is being used to address women.
