but presumably you built those skills in school. If you already know how to date, you can do it outside of school. But there's very little opportunity to learn those skills (after school people are never forced to socialize with you even if you have bad social skills)

What I mean is that "awkward" is relative to age. So if you're for example on a date at 16 and you're bad at kissing, that's normal. But if you're 30 and bad at kissing, that's weird. The same applies to everything, from conversational skills to flirting to planning dates. As you become older, the expectations rise.

Children are not forgiving for social mistakes relative to their age. But in absolute terms, children are a lot weirder than adults. So it's like, if you're 12 years old with the social skills of a 13 year old, you will be popular. Whereas if you're an adult with the social skills of a 13 year old, you're extremely weird.

Most men can't do "whatever they want in dating", because most men can't even get a single date ever.

dating should be fun In what exact way is swiping on Tinder every day for years on end, without ever getting an actual date, "fun"? Because that's dating for average men

I doubt women put more effort in. In the last year alone I spent over 1000 hours on fitness. And I'm still a virgin/never had a relationship because I'm not attractive enough yet. What woman out there is spending 1000 hours a year on makeup and skincare and is still not able to find a single person to have sex with once?

When I think of dating women, I think of going on walks through town, going and visiting some coffee place [...] When I think of dating women, I think of spending hundreds of hours swiping on dating apps and hundreds of dollars on premium subscriptions, just for one or two mediocre dates a year. That doesn't sound "fun"

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
